as i mentioned ealier - all feast are fulfilled...by and through Christ.
just look at them:)
to make some latter rain or fall feast future fulfillment, you have to change the ORDER.
what you don't get, is, they were SIGNS; for ISRAEL...to point to Christ.

so if someone has posted on their fulfillment in and by Him, let me know.

Sister Zone, this was meant to be a study, not a battle. Why get so disturbed about Bible study? Isn't that what this site is for? Or is it just your private battle ground?

There are different calendars and we do use the calendar of Hillel II based on this scripture...

Rom 3:1 What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision?
Rom 3:2 Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles of God.

For those of you who may be turned toward math and engineering, here is something you will find interesting...

And yes how true about how well the chosen ones of God have been faithful to keep those scrolls! God knew they would! He knows all about it. I have such love for God's people and have since I was little, and know He has a beautiful plan to open any unbelieving eyes.:) What a joy that day will be!!

Do we not celebrate Passover when we come to the cross in God's Word and repent;
and when we are cleansed by the Blood of the Lamb?

Hmmm, and yet we read...

Joh 13:6 Then He came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to Him, "Lord, are You washing my feet?"
Joh 13:7 Jesus answered and said to him, "What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this."
Joh 13:8 Peter said to Him, "You shall never wash my feet!" Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me."
Joh 13:9 Simon Peter said to Him, "Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!"
Joh 13:10 Jesus said to him, "He who is bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."
Joh 13:11 For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, "You are not all clean."
Joh 13:12 So when He had washed their feet, taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you?
Joh 13:13 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.
Joh 13:14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.
Joh 13:15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.

so Christ expects His own to wash one another's feet at the Passover service...

Most Protestant churches call their communion the Lord's supper, what does Paul say?

1Co 11:20 Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord's Supper.

1Co 11:23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;
1Co 11:24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me."
1Co 11:25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."
1Co 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.

Here Paul is describing the New Covenant Passover just as Christ did in the gospels. The Passover meal is replaced with wine and unleavened bread.

Mar 14:22 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, "Take, eat; this is My body."
Mar 14:23 Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it.
Mar 14:24 And He said to them, "This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.
Mar 14:25 Assuredly, I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God."

Notice that Christ will keep the Passover with His brethren when He returns and establishes the Kingdom of God on earth.

1Co 5:6 Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
1Co 5:7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
1Co 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Notice here what Paul instructed these gentiles in Corinth to do? Keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

Yes we still keep the Passover. Let's go back to...

1Co 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.

There seems to be some confusion over how often to do this. Once a year on the Passover. I do notice that those who claim we should take the eucharist (whatever that may mean) every week or every day, seem to have no problem figuring out how often to celebrate xmas and ishtar.

He will when he matures to the five year old level.

why anyone would listen to a COG cultist who thinks we're moving toward animals sacrifices for sin in a future Millennium is beyond me.

Karraster, i doubt we are sisters.

the Feasts have all been fulfilled.
didn't know that, right?
no, you are observing days and months and years and sabbaths.

shame.

Keeping God's Feast Days reveals God's plan. Now here is where the overworked and much misunderstood scripture found in Col 2:16-17 is applicable...

Col 2:16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,
Col 2:17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.

Notice they are a shadow of things yet to come and this was written twenty to thirty years AFTER the crucifixion. The Feast Days have not been fulfilled yet.

A quick overview...

Passover - The death of Christ which pays for sin.
Days of Unleavened Bread - Putting sin out of our lives.
Wave Sheaf - The ascension of Christ to the Father as the perfect sacrifice for sin.
Pentecost - Dual meaning - the giving of the Holy Spirit and the early harvest at the return of Christ
Trumpets - The trumpets of Revelation and most specifically the seventh trumpet marking the return of Christ
Atonement - The binding of Satan and the world becoming at one with God.
Tabernacles - The 1000 year Millenial reign of Christ on the earth.
The Last Great Day - The Great White Throne Judgment

Perhaps you would care to show us how each has been fulfilled. Details please.

Why, thank you...

Mat 5:11 "Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

LOL....when you've been invested since 1969?
and think animal sacrifices for sin are next?

nah. do your own work.
start by just reading the ORDER.

i know you can't see Christ in them.
set aside some time. it might come to you.

but that's not what the Lawyers want - to see Christ in them.
they see themselves in them.

LOL...you have the Day of Atonement future....way after Passover.
so you're still dead in your sins.
which is why you think you have to (are able) keep the Old Covenant law.

Pentecost - dual meaning?
(cough) - since when?

Actually, why don't you go back and reread post #2?

ya....okay.
you guys can twist the feasts and make them be what you think they are.
and you can tell the folks that there's an earthly temple coming; with sacrifices for sin and whatnot.
and you can explain the feasts.

i'll just observe:)

Colossians 1:3
"Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth"

Hebrews 11:16
"But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city"

I Corinthians 15:46
"Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual"

"Tabernacles - The 1000 year Millenial reign of Christ on the earth.";)

John 14:23
Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

2 Corinthians 5:1
For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.

1 Corinthians 3:16
You are God's Temple

16Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? 17If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.…

Romans 8:9
You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:9
For we are co-workers in God's service; you are God's field, God's building.

1 Corinthians 3:17
If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person; for God's temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.

1 Corinthians 6:19
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

2 Corinthians 6:16
What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."

Ephesians 2:21
In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.

1 John 2:24
As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.

1 John 3:24
The one who keeps God's commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.

1 John 4:15
If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.

Anyone ever notice that there are those who honestly share their views on scriptures, ask honest questions and discuss the Word in order to grow? and then there are those...

Zone, you are way out of line by saying studying the feasts of the Lord is in any way trying to bring back animal sacrifices, and you know it. Well you should have known it. Nobody has mentioned anything about that. We know Messiah was the Lamb sacrifice for our sin, how many times do I have to say that? No more sacrifice for sin as blood atonement!

I want to understand more about the gifts our Heavenly Father has bestowed upon us and they are blessings. To understand the Feasts and their special meanings is not talked about enough. None of the good things of God is talked about enough when every minute is spent fighting like cats and dogs.

I ask you please, if you do not have anything to contribute to the OP, please give someone else a chance, and thank you in advance.:)

Karraster,
you are new here.
ask your brother john832 if he believes we are moving toward a future 1,000 years with a Temple; priesthood and animal sacrifices for SIN.

thanks in advance for knowing:

1) who you are yea and amen with
2) considering all things (including that blasphemy) implicit in the suggestion JESUS DID NOT FULFILL all things.

Reading Revelations about the last days makes me think about the feasts, it all ties in, does it not? I'm wondering what is the ways of the Nicolaitans. The Lord hates the ways of them! Who are they? I wonder if they are those who hates Gods ways and therefore change His laws and celebrations? Hmm, food for thought. They hate the Feasts of the Lord perhaps, and want people to forget all about the feast and get completely away from God so they can live as they want, perhaps. Are there any connections? I'm trying to find information, because I do not understand this thing.
