The word " believe " in our bibles is used 248 times and everyone of them is a mistranslation of the Greek word pisteuo . Pisteuo is a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender , as defined in the Vines Greek dictionary .
Faith - Vine's Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words
Faith:
[ 1,,G4102, pistis ]
primarily, firm persuasion," a conviction based upon hearing (akin to peitho, "to persuade"), is used in the NT always of "faith in God or Christ, or things spiritual."
The above has nothing to do with "faithing:

Sorry , my tablet got me again Hephzibah .
That should have read , " hearing God's word " is Not " the true act of pisteuo or faithing .
At this what I'm calling the third part of the Salvation process , we still " do not " have the Spirit of Christ sealed into us yet . So Christ , His word , and His promises in His word are still not ours to claim yet either .
Hehe but you desired a mansion on a hill, takes quite alot of material to build such a estate.
I didn't think so .
The Greek language doesn't even have a word for our English word" believe " . The Greek only allows Faithing forward towards God ( pisteuo " , or faithing away from God ( apisteuo ) . No such thing as a middle or neutral ground .
And there's also the problem that when pisteuo was mistranslated with the words believe , believer , and believing into the English language , it's also mistranslated back out of the English and stamped onto the Greek , even though they don't have the word in their language .
The funny thing about that word mansion--->the word simply means a dwelling place.......the King Jimmy translators are the ones who "used the word mansion"..........
Amensome folks just like toying around with heretical thoughts and doctrines
without the Holy Spirit you would not even know you were saved
In Christ ye also trusted after ye heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation, in Whom also after ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Ephesians 1:13
"That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, AFTER THAT ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also AFTER THAT ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory" (Ephesians 1:12-14).
