Approaching the end of the age when the current world administrations under Satan are experiencing the worst of times (Matthew 24:21), we see that many false Christs will then appear (Matthew 24:23-24). My question then is: Is the world going to care if anyone claims themselves to be God, even if they were to do some miracles as did Jesus?
The fact of the matter is that when the people of the earth are experiencing the worst of times, through famines, plagues, wars, etc. (Matthew 24:7), the only thing they are going to care about is someone who will have answers to terminate these horrible conditions.
I therefore suggest that the false Christs and false prophets who shall arise during these worst of times will be people who will claim to have the solution in resolving these matters, and will not be people claiming themselves to be God.
Even by definition, Christ which is synonymous with Messiah, refers to a leader or savior. Someone who saves the people from whatever bad is going on.
An example of this would be Hitler who during the great depression in Germany was a false Messiah/prophet to the German people.
It is therefore reasonable to assess that when things get worse than they were in depression era pre WWII Germany, that there will then be many more Hitler type false Messiah/prophets who shall rise to claim themselves having the solution to their problems.
Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
