When did you get a heart? :P
lol jk. Maybe........

Actually, this is a very interesting topic for a thread. The fear about finding the 'one' is really the fear about finding out about me and being afraid that I would not live up to the expectations of the 'one'. I call this the fear of acceptance and not to be confused with the fear of rejection for I have no fear of that.

When got divorced I promised myself I would never divorce again even if it meant never marrying again. So my fear would be of getting hurt again, but I feel I have wasted a big part of my life by not putting myself out there. So I will face that fear and try again.

My theory of the one is if everyone would turn around and look who is behind them they would probably find The One as we all seem to look for the perfect ideal instead of the real. So turn around everybody and take a look.

I just turned around and found the wall. I think we are meant for each other. :p

i agree . there is a difference of fear with the enemy . and revernt fear of the lord God. to be able to discern make note of the tye of fear you are feeling. is the key . GOD is not of fear He is of LOVE.we are all on a Journey . Not all are the same. if we were all aike we would be boring lifeless. Focus is the key for the batte is in our mind . do we focus with moreso our mind?

Actually... I don't think these texts/letters have a temperature...

Is that the wedding dress you want your future wifey to wear? :P

No, but the meaning behind them is quite cold, or rather the one who typed them.
Hmm. Interesting idea.

Innocent??? With that look on your face I'd say you just peed on the carpet. ;)

No, that would be more like this...

A liberating notion for me was the idea that there is no "one" beyond the person who we choose and chooses us. They could be one person in many.

Certainly puts less pressure on performance.

I believe in this theory of yours. To move forward you must look back first.

"Turn around, every now and then..."

My experience with men I've dated is I'm in my 50's and have kids still at home. The men were interested in me and didn't want my kids around. Of course that ended it for me, but I'm afraid there is nobody out there for me because of having children at home. They're going to school, they're not moochers, and they are respectful toward others but that didn't matter and left me with feeling pretty hopeless.
