When it comes to any questions , especially about the Bible. remember this, when you go to man, you will get man made opinions and theories. But when you go to God, the Bible, you will get the correct answer. Overall whatever you are told by other, don't take it as true or false, but look it up in the word. It may take time, but that's what studying and learning is all about. 
I agree - there is far too much 'division among us yet - divisions on every level ! It has to go if we ever want to be 'joined to the Lord with whom unity starts !
Anyone else notice that across the world there seems to be a move to place women in the highest position of a country. There is also a move to put women in a position of authority in many of the churches. I smell a rat, there has to be a reason why Satan came to the woman, he must have believed for some reason that he had a better chance of fooling her.

But it really makes you question whether you are doing enough yourself in comparison, though we're all called in different ways. My father wasn't saved until much later, and he's been used in different ways to her.
She's a counsellor so has been able to help so many people both in church and out. Also back in the 80's she started a creche as our church didn't offer one, so she used that to witness to mothers. She's now in her 70's and still witnessing, just not racing around as fast as when she was in her 40's
I remember a homeless man she helped, and he ended up becoming like family to us. He had 10 fingers (no thumbs) and was abandoned as a child because his parents were ashamed of his disability. He was put in boarding school, then ran away and ended up living on the streets and working as a male prostitute. She helped him get a job, a flat and even reunited him with his parents. He also became a christian.
I too used to play flute (and oboe) in church. My instruments are back in England (in storage), but whenever I would pick them up to play it was like getting back on a bike
