Early dinner tonight. I was wondering what to do with these weird multi-colored carrots that I got at the farmer's market. Before I knew it, this happened:

spaetzle and sausage.jpg

chicken/apple/chardonnay sausage with carrots and onion in a honey dijon sauce, steamed broccoli over herbed spaetzle.

Thanks for panning back a little. It looks quite delicious. A lot of these pictures are just a little too close. No reflection on how good it is - I'm quite sure the fine eats are as well prepared and savory as they come, but ... they're just a little too close. It's like I'm crawling right down inside it.

it's sooo ....... secular.

That looks good, but a rice pilaf AND mashed potatoes? A bit much for me. I would rather double up on veggies. Or better yet, just omit one of the starches and save room for dessert!

Im all for dessert too!! A cappuccino and coconut cream pie sounds great .

That is an option. ;) I usually get broccoli and a baked potato, along with a salad.
