on the night i met my wife, we played a bunch of games & i beat her in every 1. i noticed peripherally, she wasn't comfortable with that.
You don't still beat her though?
Or do you just let her win. I am not sure what kind of games these would be...Jenga? Trivial Pursuit? Card? Video? Board?
checkers, pitch, pinochle, brain games, etc. i also beat her on wordle but she gets the best of me when we play connections & were equal on strands but lately i'm pulling ahead in strands.
Can you not just play nicely or together?
When I played wordle with my sister, we just played it together, not separately trying to beat each other.
Likewise, with Word Search, with my dad, I start it, and he tries to finish. We just try to do it fast and complete it. We don't count the number of words each finds.
In Scrabble, we attempt to get the highest score, when we combine our scores, and beat the highest ones we set the record for previously.

we do play nicely together, we never fight about it. i come from a highly competitive background. my brothers & i are well known for not quitting. we are like badgers, hahahahah!!!!!!!

animal experts list badgers in the top 3 meanest animals on earth. no, i'm not mean to people, just fierce when it comes to competition. i saw a badger beat a snake & 2 other animals in a fight. their metabolism is highly defensive against poisons & venom. he fought all 3 concomitantly! beavers build homes in creeks ,streams, or brooks similar. they can cause major trouble by damming water resulting in flooding of roads, properties or even towns. they can create temporary ponds & destroy trees. i don't know a lot about otters. they are very playful & have waterproof skin.

Are the male badges mean to the female badgers and vice versa? Or are the male badgers fighting each other and likewise female like Mean Girls?
I mean Lions and Tigers and Bears are pretty mean when they are hungry, and woe betide you if you have a Tiger Mother, get on the wrong side of a Lion, or make a Grizzly bear angry by stealing her cubs (or honey)
There have Been bear fights for entertainment, and Lions generally are not tame...they are the King of beasts.
Tigers, never met one personally, but would not want to be around if one is on the prowl.
Cooking together, going to a book club, visiting museums and bathing pets together.
