I remember walking hand in hand with my girlfriend downtown on the weekends surrounded by crowds of people, the world revolved around her and I. I skipped school one time with a Greek girl and we went to Chucky Cheese to play video games, laughing and enjoying each other. I think once upon a time one of my girlfriends and I use to DJ on the decks at the house, she was so lovely looking in her trucker hat with that style.. Other than that there is more good times to come, I'm looking forward to dating a Asian women. I have never done so, she is mysterious until she reveals why..

What language does this Asian woman speak? Don't say 'Asian'.

Fun thing to do..
Go to Ikea, flirt in the kitchens. Have hot dogs. They only $2
Buy some Swedish meatballs, then cook them at home with all the other stuff you bought each other from Ikea.

Go to the mall, walk around, window shop, but buy nothing. Then congratulate yourselves on all the money you saved.

In movie Mean Girls, the fun date was solving maths problems.

In Clueless, it was lawyers paperwork.

So in other words, if you a teen, do homework together.

I'll have to revise my fun date at the bank.

Maybe a fun date will be at the laundromat. I remember an episode of Friends that was Ross and Rachel's first date.
Laundry mats are a good place to meet a prospective candidate for a loving, lasting, enduring relationship. Grocery stores are another good place. You might be perusing in the produce aisle and bump into your future spouse who is thumping the honeydew melons to see which one is ripe and sweet.

um no
Maybe at a Farro Fresh where the rich people go?
But at my Pak n' Save, everyone is shopping for their families and saving money. Farmers markets maybe. Flea markets no - so crowded with customers!

I was talking about dates, where you already with someone, not meeting someone by bumping into them. Think that only actually happens in Rom-coms with the meet-cute scene. It's almost always the girl is the clumsy klutz and crashes her car, falls over, or gets juice spilled on her top. Then the guy has to 'rescue' her.
Or she's drowning and raising her hand for the lifeguard. Then he has to perform CPR. As on 'Baywatch'.

I have never met anyone in the laundromat except the proprietor. A lot of laundromats are self-service. I don't wait around in them, I put in my wash and then go out doing my shopping, errands or to the library so it will be done by the time I get back.

Ross and Rachel only had a date at the laundromat because clueless Rachel did not know how to do her own laundry, so Ross had to teach her.

Speaking of Friends, Ross worked at the museum - he was a paleontologist. A fun date if you are into history or natural history, or just dinosaurs, would be going to the museum.
Or the zoo.

Rachel worked at the coffee shop but her friends always went there so the coffee date thing never happened. I always thought the coffee date was kind of silly, and cheap, but works for some. It doesn't make sense to flirt with the barista though cos then you'll be waiting ages for your coffee/drink or holding everyone else up.

I must've missed that episode. Actually, I missed all of the episodes.
huh I don't think I ever watched it, just knew that all men loved Pamela Anderson.
She was the one doing the rescuing? With David Hasselhoff. Were they actually together?

And Patrick Swayze, John Travolta. This was in the 80s/90s.

Of course it's different today.

Got me. I think that David Hasselhoff was in Knight Rider. I did watch a few of those episodes.
