If in Man's very clear understanding that Canaan is a biological Son of Ham.
This is what our Lord God said.
PROVERBS 3:5
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Because God is not referring to Canaan as a biological Son of Ham but it is the SOUL of Ham.
DEUTORONOMY 13:6
6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;

It is not my opinion but God said he is Speaking in Parables (Psalms 78:2 & Ezekiel 20:49)
And our Lord Jesus showed what is Parable.

For Example TEMPLE.
Man's understanding = Literal Temple (Churches, Cathedrals, Chapels...) as the Jews said.
God's meaning = Body of Christ.
JOHN 2:13-21
13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

Man's understanding Leaven is for Bread
God's meaning is Wrong Doctrines.
MATTHEW 16:6-12
6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.
8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?
9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

All good, but what you need to acknowledge is that not everything is a parable. Further, "leaning not on your own understanding" does not mean abandoning the intellect that God gave you, nor does it mean that we (fellow Christians) are unable to understand God's word.

So, instead of effectively treating everyone else here as a carnal idiot, try humbling yourself and engaging in real conversation.

GENESIS 2:7 "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."The SOUL is often referred to as the spirit of man. Can the spirit of man compare with the simple instinct of the animal? Are the intelligence and feeling, the attributes of the SOUL, ever found in animals? It is the SOUL that distinguishes man from the animals.

The words "living soul" in Genesis 2:7 are translated from the Hebrew words ḥay [H2416] nep̄eš [H5315].


Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living [H2416] soul [H5315].


Now look at Genesis 1:

Genesis 1:24-25 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living [H2416] creature [H5315] after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

The "soul life" is that which enlivens the physical body of beasts, cattle, creeping thing (Gen 1:24-25) and is the same "soul life" that enlivens the physical body which God formed from the dust of the ground (Gen 2:7).


Now consider Genesis 1:26-28

Genesis 1:26-28 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.


The difference between the living creature, cattle, creeping thing which God made in Gen 1:24-25 and Adam and Eve created by God in Gen 1:26-28 is the image of God.

The animals were not created in the image of God as were Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve had dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth. The fall of Adam and Eve resulted not only in that which allowed them to enjoy a close relationship with God, but also in a transfer of dominion over all the earth to satan (Luke 4:6). However, the Lord Jesus Christ has defeated the enemy and the born again ones have a great promise to hold to ...

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

All good stuff. Are you suggesting that humans can produce something other than humans?
In biology, living things are classified by domain, kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species. Species is the level in which organisms can interbreed and produce fertile offspring. I've always thought of this as kind.

I believe that humans can only reproduce humans absent the supernatural. I openly confess I believe that the giants came from the unholy union of angels and women.

First, I want to clarify that God only tells us what He wants us to know and, therefore, there's a reason we do not know exactly what went on back in the days of Noah.

Having said that, I lean toward the understanding that the sons of God in Gen 6 refers to fallen angels and I believe satan attacked humankind through the woman because God promised in Gen 3:15 that the seed of the woman shall bruise the head of satan. In Gen 6:9 where God says Noah was perfect ... this does not mean Noah was without sin ... I believe it means that Noah's bloodline was genetically pure.

As far as angels being able to procreate with women, we read in Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

And, again, we know as much about angels leaving their own habitation as God allows us to know in His Word. He tells us enough to know that something went on in days of Noah and that something was devilish, evil, and caused God to bring judgment on mankind and wipe out all except Noah and his family.
