I'm detecting sarcasm?
Alright tourist.....first Santa is not real...now this might be a lie too?
What next?....are you going to say that money just "magically" ends up in the envelopes under my pillow, everytime I lose a tooth?

If so..........it's all too much to take in at once.
Well, at least Cupid is still real?:D

"Cupid, draw back your bow, and let your arrow flow..."

Happiness depends on happenstance.

Joy does not.
Which one is the happenstance?

All emotions are part of being human...but im just saying happiness is overrated...like its just the reason why we are here for...some are going too far or astray in pursuit of hapiness...

I agree with this.
Although most people pursue the worldly definition of happiness.
There is a completely different happiness obtained from following the Lord, right?

I just dig the simplicity of Steph's question. So many complicated threads, this on the other hand, makes us look and question which of the small things in life brings us a tiny bit of happiness....?

............Like videos of kittens playing the piano.

My boy laughing in a tickle fight.

Smelling the rain after a long dry spell.

Happiness comes from dopamine, endorphins, ghrelin, phenylethamine and serotonin.

walking around flower fields happily munching on your favourite chocholates prob prauline

Maybe I'm dating myself here, but didn't the Beatles say, "Happiness is a warm gun?" No wait! That is the Christian News Forum!

Happiness right now:

Watching the quails (all 8) walk through the yard of our new home every morning, foraging for breakfast.
Getting yet another box opened and everything in it put away.
Getting the internet hooked up tomorrow. (Take that, 3G!)

The view of the lake, from almost every single room in the house. God has been so incredibly good to us!

Grandchildren, in spite of the germs and colds they seem to carry.

Serving a living and sovereign God, who loved me while I was yet a sinner! And continues to walk with me on this journey called life every single second of every single day!
