The bible if full of the supernatural. There's a spirit world and dealing with it is the right thing to do. That's why we struggle against principalities and powers. It's best to deal with it and learn about it, especially if one experiences things like what Hungry did.

This is how I think, there is the real supernatural world of the
bible, heaven, God, angels, demons, deliverance,
powers we cannot comprehend etc.

There is a fake supernatural world, of aliens, ghosts, orbs, witchcraft etc,
all encouraged by the demonic to take our attention off the real issue.

Where ever there is a work of God there is a fake.
Moses and the staff, the magicians and the snake are one example.
The witch of endor, that bar Jonah bloke who followed them in acts.

Even fake healings and demonic fake illness. Not everyone will get
it, but pretty much Satan likes it when we either pay him too much attention,
or don’t believe in him but happily talk about aliens, ghosts instead or other
distractions.

Satan literally is like a roaring lion, stalking, cunning, manipulative,
seeking our destruction, in him there is no light, no peace, no joy.

But at the name of Jesus every name will bow, Jesus is above all.
We should give no place to Satan’s deceptions.

The problem that humans have is that we are stupid and arrogant. Everyone refuses to admit that their logic could be flawed. From “flat earth” to evolution, it is natural to accept what we previously believe is right regardless of evidence to the contrary. We invent improbable solutions to fill gaps in ridiculous hypothesis and convince ourselves everyone else lacks the cognitive abilities to understand.

Christ directed us to be like children. The great things about children is their minds are like play dough before it dries. Adults are the like the latter. You can teach them anything and they believe it...until a more convincing theory surfaces. I think puberty is where the mind loses suppleness and adults who disagree with them are wrong and stupid. Regardless, look at the scriptures through a child’s eyes. Resist the urge to align what is written to what you have accepted as fact. Don’t fill gaps with filler rationed by uneducated men. Seek what the words mean instead of assuming the translators even had words to use in their place. For that matter don’t assume the translators were even devinely inspired. They may have translated the words but were unaware of their meanings in a spiritual sense. Then after a thousand years of teaching scripture in a doctorine format we praised the Bible as God Himself. All of this is based on a false pretence that the Bible is inerrant. What proof is there of that? What proof is there that, even if the letters and books of the New Testament were Devine in nature delivered by supernatural communication with The Almighty, that the meaning was understood and translated proper, and then the translation was understood and presented by corrupt church officials proper and then finally found its way into the heads of failed, hateful men as originally intended?

There is enough infighting here on CC to conclude that even though we all read from the same Bible, we all think it means different things.

As far as aliens are concerned, alien means foreigner. Angel means messenger. Elohim means either gods, or God of gods. El means god (singular) Either way implies Heavenly hierarchy. Many abductees report that they were given a message. Technically, that defines them as an angel.

I’m not saying I know everything. What I am saying is that nobody really knows anything. My intention is just to acquire as much information possible and draw a more complete picture. The falling away will be a result of people believing information taught by men, then proving false.

The brain is a processor that organizes all of the information delivered through your sensory system. It creates synapses with previously tested and accepted ideas. These synapses work as a network formulating thoughts. Once you have enough information that is congruent, it becomes your truth. In order to make any decisions e need to protect this “truth”. In order to do this we create bridges built with lies spanning cognitive dissonance. The first step towards Truth is forgetting what man has taught and seek The Almighty in prayer and fasting.

I have a fascination with the unknown. When things seem inconclusive I have to research it until I can sort it and align it with my reality. That is what set me on a course to find God leading me to Christ. One thing that I continue to investigate is the “alien” phenomenon. There are many reports of encounters but it would be nice to hear some first hand accounts of Christians if there are any.

I will start with mine. One night as a teenager, I was home alone. There was a program on tv I think about aliens when I dozed off (maybe?) I woke up in a panic. I felt like I was floating. I opened my eyes as wide as I could but all around me was light. I remember flailing around but I couldn’t tell which way was up or down I hit an ashtray under me that I knew I placed above the couch earlier. That’s all I remember. The weird thing is that my mom brought home a large young stranger (in twenties) that night from the restaurant she worked at. He was blond and didn’t say much. He needed a place to stay that night and we were outside of the city. When she came home the ashtray mess was already on the floor. I never met him, I didn’t even wake up when my mom cleaned up the mess and gave him some blankets to sleep on the floor. I only saw him when I got up to go to work in the morning. He probably could have killed us both easily. Thanks mom.

Regardless, I know I was awake, I know I was floating. There seemed to be something(s) in the room with me but I saw nothing. I’m not speculating it was an abduction, just weird. Does anyone else have any unexplained happenings? My wife lived in a haunted house where strange things happened. No judgement here, I’m just looking for answers or connections.

It's neither good nor bad. It's lifting your spirit up, not casting spells. We are spirits who happen to use a physical body, not the other way around. So walk or pray in the spirit..why not?

We interact with demons or God constantly. Your subconscious already knows it and that's why you're afraid of some dream characters and close to others. The energy of a spirit gives it away. Is it love or is it hate? Is it of God or not?

I'm going to jump in here since I experienced an angelic being's visit this morning, after a night of scary mental images that many people would label unclean spirits harrassment, otherwise known as "oppression," I was weakened by an unexpected spiritual battle with someone who needed much more help than I am able to provide quite yet, until I am strong spiritually myself. In a weakened state, that Christians refer to as being "under spiritual attack," which is what your experienced sounded very much like. And the dude from the restaurant could very well have been into the occult which can open "doors," to their influence-- the "Ghostbusters" syndrome, sort of-- it's real up to a point, though not as dramatic as the movie. Spiritual warfare is very real. Many people are targeted by malicious spirits because they consider you a threat for some reason, maybe due to a spiritual gift you have that they fear you developing in a Christian expression of God's power-- in other words, they will try to lure you into the "New Age" spiritism, etc... and away from the direct power of God in Christ, that is only authorized in His Name.

so, as I tried to endure the experience by praying and reading the Bible, I was given a brief partial glimpse/image of an angelic being with her hands outstretched in the prayer posture, inviting me to get up and praise the Lord, which is one powerful way to overcome these kinds of situations. While some people may not agree with everything, the two books of Dr. Neil Anderson: "The Bondage Breaker," and "Victory Over the Darkness," are good handbooks to understand the spiritual realm ina Christian context. They really do cover most everything, if you are serious about victory, not getting your --kicked by bad spirits, and not going around looking for them like Ghostbusters, which is the wrong approach too, as Neil explains in his books, based on an interpretation of some things that Jesus said about how to deal with supernatural phenomenon. and just theological interpolation, which should be guided by the Holy Spirit. Don't go looking for evil, if you are doing God's work, they will try to stop you-- and we as Christians should be prepared to know how to deal with it when it happens. Which I'm not quite there either, sorry to say--
As far as aliens-- Paul said WE are the aliens on this earth, and sadly, we fallen humanity are the ones trashing the planet and being poor stewards of this beautiful oasis in space-- a planetary Jewel that God values very much. Divine Revelation only reveals that God is assisted by angelic beings which are mostly in the spiritual realm. Personally, I believe in possible other beings that might assist God in ways that we may not understand, such as assisting in a more physical realm that we live in, within the physical universe out there, very dangerous one--

Don't concern yourself with any other beings other than what is revealed in the Bible-- and there are references to others if you study it, but can't recall where off hand--

It's safer to seek to know theLord personally-- Jesus-- then HE will send the angelic beings to assist you, like He did this morning for me...
