Atheist with lot's of problems, turned christian without having read the bible. All sorts of toxic relations when living amongs them, it was so lonely and destructive. So I moved into a house alone, and a huge burden was lifted, do not feel so lonely anymore. Off grid for 3 months or so, just reading the bible, and watched some lifestory interviews from inspirational characters. Then I took a chainsaw to the familytree the way God told us it should be. So, now I need some familymembers, and be pointed to important parts in the bible. Hear others takes, find my denomination, and have some fun. Do not watch the news much, only bad news nowadays.

Interests are the greatest mystery of all time, cryptography, music, soccer, history, archeology, UFOs, founding fathers, the constitution, dogs, cats. Was thinking of getting a pet. And trying christian forums now, since I want to find some people who I have some things in common with. Just so much anger vented in secular social media.

Wow, that's a lot to respond to.

First welcome to CC, you are among friends here. Many of us here have issues with pop-culture and secular media and have decided to go off-grid (except for CC). Take your time. The road you are traveling will have a few twists and turns, but be assured you have a guide who will not let you fail. Study everything and take nothing for granted. Turn all over to prayer. Do not be concerned if some answers do not come quickly, you are in a marathon, not a sprint. Know above all that God loves you, so do we.

Thank you, I have time, no problem. It is a bunch I know. Do not care about the issues in my life, I have to do them. Focus on the interests, freeflowing chats on those issues. I am lighthearted, not very serious and making issues. My personal stuff is mine to do, not yours. Just an introduction to you. It is what it is.Thank you for responding

I avoid secular social media. Cats seem to be the favorite pet of choice here. You wrote a most interesting intro OP. Glad to have you onboard with us. Welcome to CC.

No, did not mean it like that. Foreigner, not native english. I just have a lot to do now, and mean that it does not bother me. For instance, I have to move out of an apartment in 25 days, and I do not have a car, must borrow one. I must get somebody to help me move fridge, washer, etc, and go with me on a 3 hour drive to do it, and 3 hours back. Bad relationship with the person I asked to do that. And am being asked to go meet two different people I knew 10 years ago, that I just stopped contact with. And have some unpaid bills, that I must deal with. bad relations. Not that I do not care, it does not get me down, as in, I do not stress, and just do it, in the correct order.. Do not think that you can say anything wrong to me. If so, I would not have posted it. Be free, be yourself, be honest/blunt. I have tough skin.

I tend to go a little overboard sometimes. You certainly have a lot to deal with, but you also appear strong. I will be in prayer for you, especially during the next few days.

Update. I did meet one of the person face to face, driving some garbadge to the dump together tomorrow, and will help move stuff later. So it worked out. The person apparently just got out of jail for stabbing somebody three months ago. Was supposed to call the other one and meet today, but a bit sceptical since she had a cold. Is vaccinated, but could be covid I guess. Looks like it goes smooth. Have no fears, and just do.

So, now I need some familymembers
I'm here for you, beloved brother. So glad that you stepped out in faith. It's the only way to come to Jesus.:)(y)

Hebrews
11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Welcome to CC, brother Mindful.:):coffee:

Thanks people, nice to have some to talk with. Did not work out it turns out, two of the people from 10 years back are still children of the lie, and had no personal growth. So I was correct in cutting them out 10 years ago, and it is final now. Going to visit them again later today again, and spend some more time with them the rest of the month, then we are done unless something unexpected happens, like true hearts and honesty comes over them, but do not expect that. Miracles do happen, but seerms like a big miracle to turn two atheists into christian in 14 days.

Went to the bookstore last night, and the cheap pocketbible was not in stock, just the expensive ones with nice hardback covers, so must buy online. Also not in stock any of the orthodox books or bible. Very disappointing. But otherwise the biblestudy is going great. I also found a book that was called the bible 365, that points you to the verses chronological, which I find useful. Will get that one too, and there are some notebookstuff in it. But for now, and old bible and onlinebibles. One or two of the books must be shipped from the UK first.

Got some sad news after a terrible day personally. Turns out that two of my former semifriends have died while I have been away. One dealer, oner I used to smoke with. I do not know if it is true or lies, but made me sad, theese were good people apart from being addicted and selling drugs. Was told that both got cancer, and the father of another drugdealer also dies from heallthissues, butI knew that would happen after talking to him while suffering. Still sad. I had forgotten all about it. Have not really been able to focus on it too much, since I have been selfish and thinking of my own problems. But so sad that the best ones dies first, since theese two were very nice people, even though they sold drugs and used. It is just life, but still sad. Puts things in perspective. I think I will change my plans for tomorrow. Not sure, but I kind of want to know what happened to all the people I used to know now. I never considered that people in their 20s and 30s cold die from natural causes. It troubles me. I could not do anything different,, but it does trouble me. Did not know them well, but kind of did my old secondary deealer. I do not know,But I feel I might have missed a funeral I shoulld have attended. Not the other one, too distant, friend of a friend.I want to go to his grave and lay down some flowers at least. Can I do something positive apart from that, without praying?
