New here to Christian chat, looking to see what this is all about. I’m 35. I was baptized at 6 years old after a woman in the park talked to me about Jesus. In 2014, after living in a lot of sin, I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior and felt great. In 2022 March, I read the New Testament for the first time all the way through. It’s now August 2023 and I feel weighed down, unhealthy and in need of help. I read the Bible every day, listen to worship music every day, watch the Sunday sermon and Bible study on YouTube every week. I live in Long Beach and my church is in Orange, CA. I email the pastor every week for guidance but I think I need a community of believers to help me grow. Looking for a Christian therapist and Christian Counselor, and a room in Orange with fellow believers. Look forward to talking with you all.

Paul pretty much summed up the Christian life in relation to our fellow man when he said this:

Galatians 6:2

"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ."

If you need some help bearing whatever is presently weighing you down, then there are some people here with pretty broad shoulders.

If you ever want to chat, then I am a good listener.
