I just started too lol. It was really difficult for me until I realized I have a classical guitar and it needs to be held a certain way. Then it became a lot easier. But I've decided to put the guitar aside for now and concentrate on my drumming skills which I have neglected for so long.
My hobbies:

drawing
photography
flight simulation
playing guitar (coming soon)
used to workout and lift weights, but the gyms are still closed here

No. not illegal, at least not yet (everything is under strict regulations here so they might as well ban that) but it is not available and if i wanted to get my hands in some i needed to buy 20lts which is a lot and is expensive so i'd rather buy the charger for car battery and do electroplating and casting myself. It is not for saving money but is for fun, I've read some books about it and people Elmer Keith for me is a hero because he experimented and tried different things with the hobbies he had and was kinda creative, for me i just want to experience some of those things that i like so much. So at first i was more interested with firearms in general but now i am more leaning towards reloading and casting.

I've always wanted to see Argentina... for some reason, I picture it much like our "wild west" back in the 1800's....
I have tried some powder coating, using the "shake" method.. and it works fairly well, depending on the humidity. It would be fun to set up an actual electrical booth with a powdercoating gun to get an even coat on the bullets before baking.
I've since gotten lazy, and simply buy bullets already coated. I let others do all the work...
I haven't done any casting in a couple of years. It is good to have the ability to do that, in case of any emergency, but as long as I can buy them cheaply enough, I will do that.
I haven't thought of plating.... that sounds like a fun project.
Have you read any of Elmer Keith's books? There is one called "Hell, I was THERE", which is a pretty good autobiography type of book.
He apparently was quite a character.

I've never reed anything from Elmer himself but i have heard and seen videos explaining what he did, plus in the book about casting that i previously mentioned he is quoted quite some times and i have to say, that is indeed a pretty cool guy, i would expect him to be best friend with Hemingway himself.
Anyway, if some day i cast some bullets with the method that he used (lead more soft at the point and harder at the bottom) i will upload here the images of the ballistic test. I really like the approach that he has made. He was a pioneer and like i said, i want to experience some of that first hand.
He did pioneer quite a few things in the firearms area.... speaking of dual hardness bullets, there were some pretty good articles in some of the shooting magazines several years ago about that. Ross Seyfried tested them extensively in large caliber handguns. He was a professional hunter in Africa, and helped develop some really large handgun cartridges with John Linebaugh. Reading about the performance of those is very impressive.
