Yes.. He told the pharisees. if you want to earn your way to heaven, this is what you must do.. the law says this, and by it you think you are perfect. But I tell you..

So your claiming Christians should NOT be obedient to the Lord then right?

We should NOT follow the leading of the Holy Spirit based on God's Word because if we do then that's trying to earn one's salvation???

You fake grace people sure are confused, as well as your handlers.

Ahh so you think you are sinless.

So you think all these scriptures are lies then, I see

Luke 6:40
The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

1 Corinthians 2:6
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

2 Corinthians 13:11
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Philippians 3:15
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Colossians 1:28
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Colossians 4:12
Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

1 Thessalonians 3:10
Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is lacking in your faith?

2 Timothy 3:17
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

You have not yet repented. I will pray for you

Actually I did and started walking in the Spirit rather than after the flesh which is something you obviously don't understand.

God's not going to hear your prayers since you claim to be a sinner who lives after the flesh.

Those that don't walk with the Lord abiding IN Christ are walking after the flesh which is walking in condemnation, so your prayers won't get past your nose.

Yes. But unless your sinless. You still require grace. and would be sent to hell because of this sins if it were not because of grace

We are saved by grace THOUGH faith and faith without corresponding action is dead faith, is not saving faith.

The faith you have is dead faith. Too bad for you. You should start believing and acting on God's Word and quit being a hearer only so you can stop being deceived.

James 1:22
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

I am not ignorant of anything my friend
🤣

i repented of my sins 40 years ago

And then never repented of all the sins you've committed since then, I see.

You are you a sinner? Is that that your claim to fame?

Have to "come out" as a sinner?

When will you humble yourself?

I walk under the power of God's Word minute by minute.

Those among us being on milk and all wouldn't understand without growing up first

See. once again you misrepresent me.. Nice try budy.. I not only teach these passages. I live them.

and these passages have nothing to do with what we are talking about. we are talking about Gods standard of perfection. whichg if you want to save yourself. you must achieve.

For ALL have sinned and fallen short..
Actually I did and started walking in the Spirit rather than after the flesh which is something you obviously don't understand.
Oh. Because I reject your works based gospel. I do not understand walking in the spirit?:LOL::ROFL::LOL::ROFL::LOL::ROFL::LOL::ROFL::LOL:
God's not going to hear your prayers since you claim to be a sinner who lives after the flesh.
Nope. once again you misrepresent me. But your eyes are closed to listen to anything I or anyone like me says.

I said I do not live perfect. No one does. Even paul at the end of his life said he was the chief of all sinners.. and we must continue to run the race.

Again, Maybe one day you will humble yourself.. Your pride bursts for all to see
Those that don't walk with the Lord abiding IN Christ are walking after the flesh which is walking in condemnation, so your prayers won't get past your nose.

Legalism 101. Focus on works. be fruit inspectors. Not blood born inspectors.

Dude, I focus on trying to spread the gospel. I point to God. not myself.. Then after a person is made a disciple., I walk beside them to help them grow to learn to walk in the spirit. I don't pump my chest. because there is nothing worthy of me to be proud of.. its all of God
🤣

And then never repented of all the sins you've committed since then,
:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

Why do you mock God? Repent means to change you mind, to admit with God sin is sin. I do not mock God by continuing to repent of sins i already repented of. I did nto change my mind that these are no longer sins.. I agree with god they are sins. so I come to his throne of gracel. confess them, and seek his help to overcome.

Don;t mock God with your religion. He will not accept it
I see.

You are you a sinner? Is that that your claim to fame?

Have to "come out" as a sinner?
So again, your perfect. You never break any commands at all..You never make a mistake. or even make the smallest error of serving self and not God? Do you even know what sin is? Something tells me you do not
I walk under the power of God's Word minute by minute.

When Jesus said "Be ye ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." he was speaking to his disciples.
(See Matt 5:1)
No, he was speaking to a group of people. like he always did.

You will never be perfect in this lifetime. Jesus would not tell you to do something you can not do.
So are you evil?
Apart from God. we all are evil.. there is none righteous no one one. (actually there was one. he died on a cross. )

No, he was speaking to a group of people. like he always did.
Really, a group? Twelve people is a group, an assembly is hundreds of people, a multitude is more like a 1,000 people?
Multitudes represents thousands of people.

And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: Matt 5:1

So did Jesus fear that they multitudes would take him and make him king. We know that the multitudes did not go into the mountain where Jesus sat because it is written:

When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. Matthew .8:1

Now here you go.....

And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Matt 7:28-8:1

Hence, the disciples after Jesus taught them went down from the mountain and taught the multitudes what Jesus had said.
15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; 16 According to all that thou desired of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. 17 And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. Deut 18:15-17

A person speaking amongst hundreds of people, much less thousands of people would have extreme difficulty speaking loud enough to be heard by the entire crowd. Does your church use a Public Announcement (PA) system?

Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. Matt 15:32

38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.
39 And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala,
Matt 15:38-39

Yell, Matthew 5 opens with His disciples coming to Him:

(Mat 5:1) And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him.

The disciples were a group. Besides, Jesus did not always speak to a group. He sometimes spoke to individuals, such as the woman at the well, and Nicodemus.

I have often pondered if Jesus didn't use the acoustics of the cave to amplify his voice so the multitudes below would hear just like if someone was using a Public Address system.

Well, Matthew doesn't say He did. Matthew says that He saw the multitudes, went up on a mountain, His disciples came to Him and He taught them:

Mat 5:1 And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him.
The Beatitudes
Mat 5:2 Then He opened His mouth and taught them,

Are you saying that Matthew 5:2 is conveying that Jesus then began to teach the disciples or the multitude. I am not sure exactly which one you are implying.

So if only the disciples heard what he had said, then did the disciples then go down from the mountain first and tell them what Jesus had said? Since at the conclusion of what Jesus said it is written that multitude were amazed at the doctrine.

28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Matt 7:28-29

It doesn't say that the disciples came down Jesus.

When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
Matt 8:1

Personally, I think it the event might be related to Deut 4:11-12, but I don't know.

And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness. 12 And the LORD spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.

I take "disciples" as meaning that those who came to hear Him were already believers, nit necessarily only "the twelve." These words of Jesus certainly seem to imply that His hearers were believers:

(Mat 5:11) "Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.

Thank you very much for replying.

I come to his throne of gracel. confess them, and seek his help to overcome.

But then you continue living in sin and proudly claiming to be a sinner? Weird.

So you never put on the New Man and continue living after in sin the old man???
(keep sinning over and over again)

Ephesians 4:24
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Romans 13:14
But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Hebrews 9:14

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

If one continues in sin, God's grace does not keep covering them because they choose to live in sin.

Romans 6:1,2
Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Galatians 6:7-8 (see Gen 8:22)
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

This is a major biblical truth the OSAS crowd always explains away or denies is simply this... God is NOT mocked, what we sow is what we reap - if we sow to the flesh we shall of the flesh reap corruption. (Gal 6:7,8)

If one claims we DO reap corruption when we sin, then they are admitting they do not believe OSAS / Eternal security doctrine (and sadly many of their friends will forsake them!).... and if one claims we DO NOT reap what we sow, then according to Gal 6:7, that would be mocking God!

Adam and Eve were given eternal life by the Lord when He created them... but when they sinned against God they became corrupt and died spiritually and became separated from God.

So Gal 6:7,8 is quite the quandary, quite the state of uncertainty and perplexity for the adherents of OSAS doctrine.

Hebrews 2:2,3
For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation

I eat you legalistic pharisees for lunch

Code for "not everything God's Word teaches is actually true" which is what all the cherry pickers say

I live them.

You apparently keep living in sin so, not so much.

You claim to be a sinner right?

For ALL have sinned and fallen short..

Yeah past tense and then some get born again, filled with the Holy Spirit and stop living in sin through the power of the Spirit.

For your further spiritual growth and instruction - you should learn these passages

1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil

John 8:34
Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

1 John 3:7
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that DOES righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

I do not understand walking in the spirit?
Apparently not since you still claim to be as sinner.

paul at the end of his life said he was the chief of all sinners..

No, that was referring to his sins that were on his record from the past.

He had Godly sorrow that lead to repentance as in ceasing from sin
Godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation

2 Corinthians 7:8-11
For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season.
Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing.
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

Claiming Paul was living in sin and was a sinner is doctrines of devils.

Those claiming to be sinners are sadly very confused living under doctrines of devils

Something tells me you do not

Well those claiming to be sinners who live in sin apparently seek others to come join them in walking in sin so they too can proudly proclaim "I'm, a sinner!"

I focus on trying to spread the gospel.

Yeah, the false gospel of proudly proclaiming "I'm, a sinner!"

i see no proof of scripture or Godsly love anywhere in your post

1 John 5:3
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

You should grow up spiritually and learn to walk in the Love of God.
Those living in sin are of the devil - You don't want to be of the devil, do ya?

Holy Spirit

(defined KJV_

(excerpt)

New Testament. Although relatively infrequent in his Old Testament appearances, the Spirit now emerges to dominate the theology and experience of the major New Testament witnesses. The term "Holy Spirit" (pneuma [pneu'ma] hagion [a&gion]) becomes common, although the absolute use remains frequent and "Spirit of God/the Lord" and even "Spirit of Christ" appear too. A distinct personality emerges and, ultimately, explicit trinitarian teaching.

Holy Spirit Meaning - Bible Definition and References

Complete Jewish Bible

In Judaism, the Holy Spirit (Hebrew: רוח הקודש, ruach ha-kodesh) refers to the divine force, quality, and influence of God over the universe or over God's creatures in giving contexts

Holy Spirit in Judaism

Scriptures about the Holy Spirit:

John 16:13 - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

13 However, when the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own initiative but will say only what he hears. He will also announce to you the events of the future.

(CJB)

John 14:26 - But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 14:26 CJB:
26 But the Counselor, the Ruach HaKodesh, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything; that is, he will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Acts 2:38 - Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2: 38 Kefa answered them, "Turn from sin, return to God, and each of you be immersed on the authority of Yeshua the Messiah into forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Ruach HaKodesh!

1 Corinthians 6:19 - What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

1 Corinthians 6: 19 Or don't you know that your body is a temple for the Ruach HaKodesh who lives inside you, whom you received from God? The fact is, you don't belong to yourselves;

These are just a few Scriptures for reference purposes.

QUESTION:

If one denies the existence of the Holy Spirit, is that what the unpardonable sin is:

Matthew, Chapter 12 KJV:

31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Matthew Chapter 12 CJB

31 Because of this, I tell you that people will be forgiven any sin and blasphemy, but blaspheming the Ruach HaKodesh will not be forgiven.

32 One can say something against the Son of Man and be forgiven; but whoever keeps on speaking against the Ruach HaKodesh will never be forgiven, neither in the `olam hazeh nor in the `olam haba.

Blasphemy is simply denying the saving work of the spirit. Effectively saying no to Christ and the offer of salvation. This cant be forgiven.

Then nobody can ever get born again because al of us rejected the saving power of the Holy Spirit before we ever got saved so if that cannot be forgiven looks like we're all on our way to hell. That's too bad.

heh ... well if you said "yes" you could be saved... and your premise is incorrect... the holy spirit nudges us toward making a decision. The spirit doesn't just prompt you one time, and then you say "no" and it's over. that's silly. Jesus stands at the door and knocks... ever hear that... same thing with spirit. if you ultimately deny it you will burn... but if you are being feed the word you most likely will come to a point of accepting the offer and can be saved.

i can see why you have trouble with the biblical text.
