honesty? really?

Do you really love honesty? Really? Do you really want to open yourself to others? Really? Are you willing to be hurt for being honest? Really? Are you willing to die alone for being honest? Really? The funny part here: You only want her as a friend? Really? Are you brave enough to be honest since the begining? Really? Would you give him achance if he tells you :" I cant see you as a friend..i try, but i cant". Really?. Really? Really? Come on people!!!
 
Life is not about pleasing other people and those that spend their entire life doing this will find themselves hurt and disappointed so with that said God says not to bear false witness which is lying or leading someone to believe something not to be true. We are to be men and women of integrity. Does this mean when someone asks us something do we just tell them the truth in a harsh manner? Oh heavens no!!! Saying the truth even when it may hurt someone is always the right thing to do, but you also have the ability to do that in a loving manner.
 
What i tried to say is that we say we want honesty, but we are not thinking about the risk. For example..all my post is about me practicaly asking for a girlfriend...and that causes a bad image.that doesnt help me.

If the relationship is real then none of these things will be an issue, if you truly love someone there are no limits you will not go for them you will go through the very fires of hell itself for them it won't matter what the cost is or what you have to do to be with them. Many people don't know what real love is many people even seek to find love not because of love itself but because they don't want to be single and die alone this is also why many people hook up without having a true bond.

If you want to be in a relationship honesty is indeed needed though because we are human we tend to be dishonest sometimes. Many people want to find love without understanding what love really is and they do it with the need to not be alone to not be single to find the love of their lives and then when and if they find someone like that and marry it doesn't tend to last as over 56 % of marriages end in divorce. I don't know about you but i don't want a relationship just to have one or just so i don't die alone I want the real thing I want a girl that I would go through torture for i want a love that is so deep and so strong that even if she cheated on me and had sex with another man I would not divorce her.

For me love is not to be taken lightly and that is especially true when it comes to God. Love is a blazing fire it's a passion it's an unbreakable bond and connection of the hearts it's not s fuzzy warmth or a mooshy feeling or a lovey dovey everything is rainbows and skittles thing. True love is decided by the answer to this question- how far are you willing to go for them?

You have to ask yourself what your motive is for a girlfriend, do want one just to have one just to not be alone? or do you want the real thing? because if you want the real thing then then seek to develop and deepen the love and the bond and connection with you and God first only then will you understand what real love is and only then will you find the girl of your dreams, seek first the kingdom of God and all other things will be given to you

sometimes the struggles within have to be written out, like how if you bottle up your emotions it builds up if you bottle up these inner struggles then it can make things very bad for you.

The risk of honesty is that people may not like or accept us. The risk of practicing that kind of dishonestly and putting on a mask for people is that we'll start forgetting who we really are and hiding ourselves from ourselves as well.

I long ago decided I was going to exercise my right to be me instead of trying to cater to everyone else's whims.

This might be a regional culture thing. Where I live it is not considered bad form for a man to be alone.

Maybe you should move over here. Still plenty of space left in Tennessee. :D

My wife and I are actually considering such a thing. I lived in Clarksville for 3 years in the early 80's while in the army. I enjoyed the change of seasons. Perfect winters, a little snow and cold and then it warms back up. Beautiful in autumn.
 
Honesty?

My last date was on Halloween... so I could say the whole "cyclops look" was just a costume.


Honesty is overrated.
