My understanding i that the human part of Christ is what died and was given as the perfect sacrifice.
Yes! That which is by definition, human, cannot exist as a non-human. A is A.Perhaps to clarify... the person Jesus (human) cannot exist in a non-human form.
Agree makes take sense.
No I haven't. I have never said 'Jesus is not divine'.
LOL. You say Jesus cannot exist in non human. Your deceitfulness is on full display for all to see.How so? I accept God is eternal and have not said anything to the contrary.
Yes.
Jesus is 'fully human and fully divine', however.
Let's ascribe Jesus' humanity the value of 5. And we shall ascribe the value of his divinity as 7.
Humanity = 5
Divinity = 7
5+7=12
Jesus=12
Does this make it easier to understand?
Yes. By definition Jesus is human. If Jesus stops being human, then it is perhaps simply God you are referring to. Jesus is God in human form.LOL. You say Jesus cannot exist in non human. Your deceitfulness is on full display for all to see.

Yes.i see
do you understand the idea being spiritual death vs physical death.
God told adam in the day he ate, he would die, Adam did die that day spiritually, some centuries later he died physically, does this make sense?
Jesus refers to the human. Jesus is simply the name by which the body God inhabited was identified.Yes that which is human is human...molecules, atoms, physiology.
Jesus did not exist as human prior to Him taking on human flesh.
I believe this is orthodox Christianity.
My link a Calvinist Web site....LOL

By definition, Jesus is both human and divine. As an eternally Divine Being, Jesus predates His creation, which includes Adam, which you deny. Your position is logically untenable. I shall leave you to your nonsense.Yes. By definition Jesus is human. If Jesus stops being human, then it is perhaps simply God you are referring to. Jesus is God in human form.

No. The Logos was called Jesus when the human was born. Jesus itself refers to the human. Jesus did not exist before that particular human was born, yet the Logos did exist, and always has.Of course.. Jesus was the name given in our temporal world when He entered this world.
In scripture He is referred to as the Logos.
GoodYes.

No. My understanding was that spirit cannot die.Good
now, Jesus said on the cross “it is finished” the words he spoke in the Greek is tetelesti (not sure of spelling) which is a Roman legal term which means paid in full, so, Our sin debt was paid in full BeFOR Jesus died physically, after he completed the job he was sent, he gave up the ghost (man did not kill him, by physical laws, his body should have been dead long before this time, he died when he determined he would die and not a moment sooner)
so it was his spiritual death that paid the spiritual death we all deserve, not the physical.
does this Make sense?
Spiritual death, like Adam died spiritually the day he sinnedNo. My understanding was that spirit cannot die.
Is Jesus an eternally human being as well as being an eternally divine being?
It is now evident I do not.Spiritual death, like Adam died spiritually the day he sinned
i thought you said you understood that
Ok that’s okIt is now evident I do not.
