This is also true:

Acts 16:31-34

They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.” Then Paul and Silas spoke the word of the Lord to him and to everyone in his house. At that hour of the night, the jailer took them and washed their wounds. And without delay, he and all his household were baptized. Then he brought them into his home and set a meal before them. So he and all his household rejoiced that they had come to believe in God.

A person’s clear understanding of the word “household” is that it refers to the people living in the same house, such as one’s own family.
However, the Lord was speaking in parables or dark saying when He used the word “household.”

Consider the man whom the Lord Jesus instructed to go back to his home and tell his household about the wonderful things God had done for him.
Yet when he obeyed the Lord’s command, he did not simply tell the people in his own household; he proclaimed it throughout the whole city.
Because that is what the Lord Jesus meant when He spoke to him using the word “household.”
LUKE 8:39
39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.

This serves as proof that the Lord was speaking in parables or dark saying, and that the ordinary human understanding of the word cannot always be applied literally.

Because we are human beings, with limited knowledge. I don't know what your "four different understandings of who the Lord Jesus is" are, but there are certain things about Him that are made clear in Scripture, including the fact that He is eternal, that He is fully God, and since His incarnation, fully Man, that He was conceived in a virgin's womb by the Holy Spirit, He died on the cross, to save those who believe in Him, and rose again three days later, and is now in heaven, from where He will return on the last day. If any of your four views miss out any of those basic biblical truths, they can easily be shown to be wrong from the Bible.
I thought that because you have read so much, or perhaps even read the entire Bible, the four different understandings of who the Lord Jesus is had already been revealed to you. Why is that not the case yet?

Here, for your knowledge, are the four different understandings of who the Lord Jesus is.

1. ARIAN DOCTRINE (or Arianism) is a historical Christian theological view associated with Arius, a 4th-century presbyter from Alexandria.

Its central belief is that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is not eternal in the same way as God the Father and is not equal in essence to the Father.

In simple terms, Arianism teaches that:

  • God the Father is the one supreme, eternal God.
  • The Son (Jesus Christ) existed before the creation of the world, but the Son was brought into existence by the Father.
  • Therefore, the Son is not co-eternal with the Father.
  • The Son is greater than all other created beings and has a unique divine status, but He is not God in exactly the same sense as the Father.
  • Jesus therefore does not have the same divine essence as the Father, contrary to the later Nicene doctrine of the Trinity.

2. JEHOVA DOCTRINE Main beliefs about God and Jesus

  • Jehovah is the one Almighty God. Jehovah’s Witnesses identify Jehovah as the personal name of the one true God, whom they understand as the Father.
  • Jesus is the Son of God, but is not Almighty God. They teach that Jesus was God's first creation and that he existed in heaven before coming to earth.
  • Jesus is not equal to Jehovah. They reject the Trinity and do not believe that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one God in three persons.
  • The Holy Spirit is not a person or a separate divine person. They understand it as God's active force or power.
  • Jesus became fully human on earth. They teach that Jesus died as a ransom for humanity and was resurrected by God.
  • Jesus is now a heavenly spirit being and King of God's Kingdom.
  • Jehovah’s Witnesses generally teach that Jesus was resurrected as a spirit rather than physically raised with the same human body.
3. ONENESS DOCTRINE (often called Oneness Pentecostalism or Oneness theology) is a Christian theological position that rejects the traditional doctrine of the Trinity.

Its central teaching is that God is one person, not three distinct divine persons. Jesus Christ is understood as the full revelation of the one God.

Main beliefs

  • There is only one God and one divine person. Oneness theology emphasizes passages such as Deuteronomy 6:4: “The LORD our God is one LORD.”
  • Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. They generally teach that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are not three distinct persons within God.
  • “Father,” “Son,” and “Holy Spirit” describe different manifestations, roles, or ways the one God relates to humanity, rather than three eternal persons.
  • Jesus is fully God and fully human. His humanity is genuinely human, while His divine identity is the one God.
  • The Father is in Jesus Christ. When Jesus prays to the Father, Oneness theology generally understands this in terms of the distinction between Christ's genuine humanity and His deity, rather than Jesus being a separate divine person from the Father.
  • The Holy Spirit is God's own Spirit, rather than a third divine person distinct from the Father and Son.

4. TRINITARIAN DOCTRINE (the doctrine of the Trinity) is the traditional teaching of most Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Protestant Christianity about the nature of God.

The basic teaching is:

There is one God who eternally exists as three distinct Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The three Persons

  • The Father is God.
  • The Son, Jesus Christ, is God.
  • The Holy Spirit is God.
  • Yet there are not three Gods, but one God.
The three Persons are understood to be distinct from one another, but they share the same divine essence or nature.

A person’s clear understanding of the word “household” is that it refers to the people living in the same house, such as one’s own family.
However, the Lord was speaking in parables or dark saying when He used the word “household.”

That doesn’t make it a parable. The redeemed man did exactly what Jesus told him to do, and continued testifying.

It is not because we are merely human beings with limited knowledge that our understanding of God’s Word differs. Remember that the disciples of the Lord Jesus were ordinary people just like us. Yet because they knew the one true God, they had the same understanding of God’s Word.

For through their knowledge of the one true God, they were given understanding that comes from God, as stated in Proverbs 2:6.

This proves that when people’s understanding of God’s Word comes only from human reasoning, their understanding will naturally differ from one another.

Thank you for explaining what you meant by the fours different views. I am sure that there are far more than just four views of who Jesus is. The important thing is to know what God has revealed in His word about Who Jesus is, and that is not the Arian idea, or oneness pentecostalism, or Jehova doctrine.

That is just not so, otherwise Paul would not have withstood Peter to the face, Thomas wouldn't have refused to believe the resurrection, and so on.

Three of the beliefs are heterodox so what difference would reading the whole Bible make? Again you imply the ridiculous.
Whatever you say about the remaining three applies equally to what each of them says. So who can determine who is actually telling the truth?

So if you were to face them in a debate, it would never end because each of you would claim to have the correct understanding. But of course, if you’re the only one being asked, you would say that the Trinitarian belief is the truth.

How can you say that their beliefs or understanding of the Lord Jesus are false when all of those beliefs are written in the Holy Scriptures?
Just as the Trinitarian doctrine is found in the Scriptures, their beliefs are also supported by what is written in the Holy Scriptures. That is why the debate never ends, because each side claims that their understanding of the Lord Jesus is based on what is written in the Holy Scriptures.

I will accept your thanks if it is for physical life. However, if it is for spiritual life, please do not thank me, because only the Lord God should be thanked for spiritual life.

Do you know that the four different understandings of the Lord Jesus had already existed during His time, as a testimony to Ecclesiastes 1:9 and Matthew 24:35?

And if the Lord reveals that this had already happened during His time, then the truth about the four different understandings of the Lord Jesus will be revealed.

The basis for salvation is not merely what is written in Scripture, but base what is the truth.
That doesn’t make sense.

What is written in Scripture is most certainly the basis for salvation. Scripture is God’s official record of Jesus’ divinity, life, atoning death for our sins, and resurrection. There is no other basis.

Arianism, Oneness theology and Jehova doctrine are not found written in the Scriptures. They all go against what we read in John 1, especially verses 1-3 and 14.
