Quote from an xkcd cartoon:I am also interested in everyone's personal definition of "single": I have known some people who identify as themselves as Christians and consider themselves to be single when they are not married but are in a committed relationship.
Should a strict line be drawn between "single" and "available"? Do you consider someone who is not available but not married to still be single? What is your own definition of "single" and how long have you been in that state?
By single, you mean technically single, right? If so, I've never been married so that would be 25 years.

Oh, in that case, I've been singled for all of my 32 years.
I'm single since a long time ago!
I've never had someone.
I'm not sad. See?![]()
We all seem really sad? I love being single! Who's sad?
33 years, 6 months 18 days 6 hours 19 minutes
I don't even think I should comment being just a little kid, lol, but I've been single for a little over 6 months now. It's funny. Everyone is so optimistic on this thread about how long they've been single, and yet they all seem really sad at the same time.
It's not as bad as it can sometimes seem, I suppose. I've met people who have been single for years, and they seem more satisfied than someone like me who has a fresh wound.
So I guess the saying is true. Time does heal all wounds. So for those who are like me, let's find hope in that. And especially to those close to my age. The likability of us not finding someone is slim. And even if we don't, we always have God and He's much more important.
So let's all be happy and grateful for what we have. The Bible says, "Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice." Philippians 4:4
