Awww, lookatchoo gettin all triggered when someone makes an assumption about you, that's so cute! 😊

Yet you fail to see why it is a problem when you do it to LITERALLY EVERYONE RLSE ON THE BOARD.

Your lack of awareness is staggering. I can see why the dating sites haven't worked out for you.
The only thing I fail to see is how marriage as a talking point only without a partner in real life is not "abstract".

You have no idea what anyone here actually believes, even though they have been telling you ad nauseum. It just goes right over your head..

You act as if we all have one mind and believe the same things,

I still don't get what you're so upset at.

Sounds like a failure to see why it's not ok to assume or mischaracterize......unless you are just playing dumb. You do that a lot. Perhaps you're not actually playing.🤔

Why so glum, sugar plum? Just let it go.

Interesting coming from the guy who can't let go of anything 🧐.

But yes, it's true, I can't change you. Best to just ignore you. Maybe someday you'll stop frequenting dating sites and falling for the homosexual agenda, but it is not my concern.

Ciao! 😊

Pfft, speaking of mischaracterization. I'm the only who called out the Supereme court's redefinition of marriage, check it out.

You see, this is what's sick about this culture, you have to assume that everyone must be paired up with their "other half", if not opposite sex, then same sex, or an AI, you just can't face yourself and meditate on the meaning of your life in solitude.

I am now taking bets on how long it will take him to make another post here.

Current odds are 20/1 against him staying away for more than 2 days. Any takers?

A double-minded man doesn't receive anything from God.

Um what are you willing to bet? I bet you five whiskers.

He will post as soon as someone quotes him, if not sooner. The ciao was for me, not him.

The only thing I fail to see is how marriage as a talking point only without a partner in real life is not "abstract".
It's as abstract as talking about dinner when you haven't decided what restaurant to eat at or when there's no food in the house. Sure it's a desire that can't be immediately fulfilled but you've seen other people eat dinner so you kind of know what it's about. And you know there's such a thing as food. And you can actually glean a lot of information about what marriage could be like even without a specific partner in mind. In fact, if you don't want marriage / a marriage type relationship with someone you don't go out looking for a partner and you stay single. But since you are at pains to explain to us that you're joyously condemned to the incel life, have a good one. I will say it's also much easier to make the best of perpetual singleness when you don't see any option to stop being single, but that doesn't mean it's the best option.

*Lynx reads the last two posts...

I get the impression cinder has a bet in, and she is trying to manipulate the odds to hedge her bets.

Lies all lies. I just liked the turn of phrase joyously condemned to . But I apparently impressed the cat which is better than depressing the dog (who should probably be walked now to avoid that eventuality).

And that right there is probably while I'm still single. But the dog assures me that she loves me with all of her doggie heart.

Six whiskers!!

😸

Why can't Lovette just say he's been single 'for eternity'
It's a long time.
We not gonna judge him on his age. Don't have to give a number.

I don't have any...🍪

Too late as I already did my supermarket shop today and did not include cookies.

My Dad did buy these though

That's rather a poor comparison. What other people eat at dinner can be easily replicated, other people's marriage cannot. Food can be bought, a spouse cannot.

And I'm not "incel", I'm VOLcel - voluntarily celibate. "Joyous incel" is an oxymoron. You see, when there's nothing you can do to change the outcome, what you can do and should do is change your attitude, to be content in every circumstance. The only relationship I'm desparately looking for is a relationship with our Lord. He listens to me and comforts me, his teachings equip me and edifies me, he intercedes with alacrity in my darkest moments, he loves me so much that he had died for my sins, and he's waiting on me at the portal, who am I to be tempted away by such an imaginary partner?

Your behavior says otherwise. You could say that all believers are called to be voluntarily celibate until they marry, but your invective against the desire to get married, the fact that you seem to have nothing better to do than sit at your computer and type out these long screeds, and just your general attitude of there's nothing you can do to change your circumstance are all far more indicative of something that you're stuck with and not so happy about. And I think your overspiritualized posturing is just that, trying to put a spiritual veneer on your situation to make yourself feel better and superior to all those other poor saps who aren't spiritual enough to be content with just God alone (though with all the one another's God put in scripture an honest person would have to wonder if God ever meant for us to be fully content to be just me and God). That's also a spinoff of purity culture and the idolization of singleness as somehow a more pure state than marriage. Neither is better than the other. It's just a matter of what God is calling you to at this point in your life. Hopefully with age and experience you will gain more wisdom and leave your foolish and angsty youth behind you.
