Your twist on GODS word,

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent unto the remission of your sins, and some of you ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto some of you, and to some of your children, and to some that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God may call.

GODS WORD.
Acts 2:38-39
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Isn't that what you said?

In the past when I asked you what we have to do to be reborn, why haven't you answered me?

1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

What was that message that Paul preached in 1 Cor. 15:1?

Tell me what I have to do to be reborn, with scripture please.
I have already explained this to you multiple times. If the truth is what you are looking for then you will find it in the numerous scriptures that I already shared with you. If accommodating your biased church doctrine is the only thing you are interested in then you will not find the truth no matter how many times that I share it with you.

So you say,

Do you have the ability to tell me what I have to do today to be saved?

So you say,

Do you have the ability to tell me what I have to do today to be saved?
I have the ability. Do you have ears to hear? John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Acts 15:7 - And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them: “Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. 8 So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, 9 and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Acts 16:30 - And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

1 Corinthians 15:1 - Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures..

Do you have the ability to explain to me what faith IS and what the gospel IS and also what it means to BELIEVE the gospel?

Correct, correct, and Correct! If we DO NOT recognize God's UNDILUTED Wrath
because of sin, Then everything below will be "a moot point", Correct?:

Who is "God, The Judge" Who "Sits On The Great White Throne At The LAST Day"?:

"I saw A Great White Throne, and Him That Sat on it, from Whose Face the earth
and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw
the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and
another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead Were Judged
out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up
the dead which were in them: and they Were Judged every man according to their
works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is The Second Death
[ God's UNDILUTED Wrath = PENALTY of sin, Correct? ].
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
(Revelation 20:11-15 AV)

God, The SON, The LORD Jesus Christ, Correct?:

"For The Father Judgeth no man, but Hath Committed All Judgment Unto The SON:
That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that
honoureth not The SON honoureth not The Father Which Hath Sent Him."

Believest thou This Truth?

Thus, to avoid The Second Death, it is NOT "how we get rid of our sins", since we Cannot!;

It IS However, "What He "Has Done/Does/Will Do" That Is The Most Important!:

Are you "Washed In God's ( Jesus Christ's ) OWN BLOOD" (Acts 20:28 AV)?

If so, the Following Multitude Of Plain And Clear Scriptures Are TRUE For
all the ONE-Time Only BLOOD-WASHED saints In Christ (God!)!

God's Eternal Salvation Is, In Biblical Fact, "in view" In God's Revelation Of The Mystery,

How to get rid of sins?

How about we go to HIS word and see, which leaves our opinion out of it.

Acts 2:38-39
King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Of course we still need JESUS to fill us with HIS spirit to enter.

All I need is faith and belive the gospel.

You are fixated on your pet verses and don't seem to take into considerationthe totality of scripture. Try harmonizing Acts 2:38 with (Luke 24:47; Acts 3:19; 5:31; 10:43-47; 11:17,18; 13:38,39; 15:7-9; 26:18)

In John 3:5, Jesus said born of water and the Spirit and NOT born of baptism and the Spirit. Also, consider what Jesus said in (John 4:10,14; 7:37) and see the connection between living water, the Holy Spirit and eternal life.

Peter said whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins. (Acts 10:43) Paul said believe in/on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. (Acts 16:31) Was that not specific enough for you?

Some thing you don't get in JESUS does mean baptism becuae that is how we die with him.

We also need to filled with the spirit which is the living water.

GREAT IDEA, how about you help me.

How about harmonizing John 3:5 what the AUTHOR of the book and our salavation is basd on.

And Acts 2:38 the FRIST SALAVAGION message given to US.

Harmonizie them with something OK.

Looks to me like you can't tell me what I have to do to be saved, WHY NOT???

You say just believe but that does not go with what JESUS says or he's a liar, so YOUR WRONG.

Who do you think I should follow you or JESUS?

Why don't these verse go together.

Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

You see your trying to make HIS word say something it don't.

Baptism is a picture of the real things (spiritual things) that happened before we were baptized. We died because of our sins together with Christ on the Cross. We were burried together with Christ into the grave. We rose from the grave together with Christ. And we live and walk around in the newness of life together with Christ right now.

Sounds like you ALMOST quoting this.

Romans 6
King James Version
6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

But you got some things backwards.

WHEN we are baptized we are baptized into HIS death.

Some thing you don't get in JESUS does mean baptism becuae that is how we die with him.
A symbol is not the reality but is a picture of the reality.

We also need to filled with the spirit which is the living water.
You still don't seem to understand the difference between receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit and being filled with Holy Spirit.

GREAT IDEA, how about you help me.
I've been trying to help you but your indoctrination seems to run very deep.

How about harmonizing John 3:5 what the AUTHOR of the book and our salavation is basd on.
John 3:15,16,18; 4:10,14; 7:37-39; 10:9; 14:6.

Faith in Jesus Christ "implied in genuine repentance" (rather than water baptism) brings the remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 5:31; 10:43-47; 11:17,18; 13:38-39; 15:7-9; 16:31; 26:18). *Perfect Harmony*

Looks to me like you can't tell me what I have to do to be saved, WHY NOT???
I have told you multiple times already, but you just don't seem to understand. WHY NOT???

You say just believe but that does not go with what JESUS says or he's a liar, so YOUR WRONG.
Are you calling Jesus a liar? John 3:15 - that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 6:40 - For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. John 6:47 - Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. John 11:25 - Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” *What happened to baptism?

Who do you think I should follow you or JESUS?
How can you follow Jesus if you do not believe in Him?--trust in Him as the ALL-sufficient means of your salvation.

Those verses are in harmony. Mark 16:16 - He who believes and is baptized will be saved (general cases without making a qualification for the unusual case of someone who believes but is not baptized) but he who does not believe will be condemned.

The omission of baptized with "does not believe" shows that Jesus does not make baptism absolutely necessary for salvation. Condemnation rests on unbelief and not on a lack of baptism. *NOWHERE does the Bible say, "baptized or condemned."

If water baptism is absolutely required for salvation, then we would expect Jesus to mention it in the following verses. (3:15,16,18; 5:24; 6:29,40,47; 11:25,26) Yet what is the ONE requirement that Jesus mentions NINE different times in each of these complete statements *BELIEVES. *What happened to baptism? *Hermeneutics.

John 3:18 - He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who (is not water baptized? - NO) does not believe is condemned already, because he has not (been water baptized? - NO) because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Amen! As Greek scholar AT Robertson explains:

Verse 3
Were baptized into Christ (εβαπτισθημεν εις Χριστον). First aorist passive indicative of βαπτιζω. Better, "were baptized unto Christ or in Christ." The translation "into" makes Paul say that the union with Christ was brought to pass by means of baptism, which is not his idea, for Paul was not a sacramentarian. Εις is at bottom the same word as εν. Baptism is the public proclamation of one's inward spiritual relation to Christ attained before the baptism. See on Galatians 3:27 where it is like putting on an outward garment or uniform.
Into his death (εις τον θανατον αυτου). So here "unto his death," "in relation to his death," which relation Paul proceeds to explain by the symbolism of the ordinance.

Verse 4
We were buried therefore with him by means of baptism unto death (συνεταφημεν ουν αυτω δια του βαπτισματος εις τον θανατον). Second aorist passive indicative of συνθαπτω, old verb to bury together with, in N.T. only here and Colossians 2:12. With associative instrumental case (αυτω) and "by means of baptism unto death" as in verse Romans 6:3.

In newness of life (εν καινοτητ ζωης). The picture in baptism points two ways, backwards to Christ's death and burial and to our death to sin (verse Romans 6:1), forwards to Christ's resurrection from the dead and to our new life pledged by the coming out of the watery grave to walk on the other side of the baptismal grave (F. B. Meyer). There is the further picture of our own resurrection from the grave. It is a tragedy that Paul's majestic picture here has been so blurred by controversy that some refuse to see it. It should be said also that a symbol is not the reality, but the picture of the reality.

Thank you so much. I didn't even know I had this book in my Logos library until I just looked. I will start using it immediately.

Yes, Romans 6 and Colosians 2 were in my mind when I wrote that. I particularly like the "together with" words (notice they all begin with ("συν"):
  • Buried together with (συνετάφημεν) (Rom 6:4, Col 2:12),
  • Raised together with (συνηγέρθητε) (Col 2:12), and
  • Made alive together with (συνεζωοποίησε) (Col 2:13).
Sometimes we see in Scripture that bapism and salvation occur at approximately the same time. Sometimes we see salvation occuring without baptism at all. But most of the time we see salvation preceeding baptism. I don't remember any verses that say it, but I suspect there may have been many people who were baptized but never saved. Regardless, given all the evidence, it is difficult to make the case that water baptism is necessary for salvation. Baptism in the Spirit is another question altogether.

How many times can those of dead faith choose to accept Jesus and be saved?
You left the right answer out...Zero. Dead faith can do nothing. Without the Holy Spirit's drawing you you can't truly accept Jesus.

So much for proving they were saved in Acts 10:43 before they received the Holy Ghost and were baptized.

We have GOD'S word and your opinion, I think I will follow HIS word.

Best of luck.

Well since sins seperates us from GOD and we can't enter Heaven with sin the only way that is in scripture to get rid of it is being baptized in JESUS name.

So it's imposible to be saved with out it.

Being filled with the Holy Ghost is a differnt thing all together.

We are responsible for obeying and being bapitzed, JESUS is the one who fills us with the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:4 they were filled first, baptized the same day.
Acts 8, they were baptized and filled days maybe weeks later?
Acts 10 they were filled first, baptized the same day.
Acts 19 they were baptized and Paul laid hands on them and they were filled.

In every case BOTH were done.

I have told you multiple times already, but you just don't seem to understand. WHY NOT???

How can you follow Jesus if you do not believe in Him?--trust in Him as the ALL-sufficient means of your salvation.

Since Acts 2:38-39 and Mark 16:16 doesn't mean what what they say.

Curious, how do you twist or harmonize these scriptures to suit your needs.

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Evidence that just believing in not enough and not only baptism is important but how your baptized.

Acts 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

So much for proving they were saved in Acts 10:43 before they received the Holy Ghost and were baptized.

We have GOD'S word and your opinion, I think I will follow HIS word.

Best of luck.
They were saved in Acts 10:43-47 when they believed and immediately received the Holy Spirit BEFORE water baptism. God's word trumps your eisegesis. I don't need luck. I have Jesus Christ. (1 John 5:11-13) ✝️

Since Acts 2:38-39 and Mark 16:16 doesn't mean what what they say.
Acts 2:38-39 and Mark 16:16 mean what they say when properly interpreted. Apparently, Luke 24:47; Acts 3:19; 5:31; 10:43-47; 11:17-18; 13:38-39; 15:7-9; 26:18 don't mean what they say according to your eisegesis.

Curious, how do you twist or harmonize these scriptures to suit your needs.

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
I already explained this to you multiple times. These signs in Mark 16:17 were promised to the apostolic community (Matthew 10:1) which were not uncommon in the early church age but were not promised to all believers in all ages. (1 Corinthians 12:27-30)

Evidence that just believing in not enough and not only baptism is important but how your baptized.
Believing is enough because the OBJECT of our belief - the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ is enough. (Acts 15:7-9; Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4) It's just not enough for you because you don't believe. (1 Corinthians 1:18-21) Your faith is in water baptism and baptism formulas and speaking in tongues and is not in Jesus Christ alone.

These disciples of John in Acts 19:2 apparently did not believe, based on their answer to Paul, “we have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” This demonstrates they have not yet believed in Jesus Christ unto salvation. Paul further asked, "into what then were you baptized? They said, “into John’s baptism.” Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.”

When they heard this, they were afterwards baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. There would have been no need to re-baptize them if they had already believed on Christ Jesus unto salvation. These disciples of John needed further instructions to become believers in Christ Jesus then afterwards, they received the Holy Spirit after Paul laid hands on them (which is an exception and not the rule in every case of conversion).

So Acts 2:38-39 and Mark 16:16 mean what you what them to mean. GOT IT.

Mark 16:17 JESUS wasn't talking to everyone and you decide to pick who HE was talking to. GOT IT.

When I said Evidence that just believing in not enough and not only baptism is important but how your baptized. I was referring to Acts 19 and the fact still remains.

Acts 19 So they didn't believe, GOT IT.

Just like Matthew 7 as JESUS sent them to HELL they didn't believe enough to you.

Takes a lot of talking and in an attempt to prove HIS word wrong.

I think GOD needs to learn from you, since HIS word is all messed up and don't mean what it says.

Matthew 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Maybe you should read HIS word with an open Heart and be humble if you want to hear from HIM.

Sad part is you believe yourself.

What do you think of this verse?

2 Timothy 3:16-17
King James Version
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

It means KEEP YOUR OPINION OUT OF IT.

As I said best of luck.
