Not that I'm conceited, but I feel comfortable in my skin. So I feel attractive. That can become a bad thing depending how a person uses their attractiveness.
 
Rarely.

I barely recieved any compliments on my looks, except when it came to new clothing or my artwork. Goes to show God had a sense of humour. xD
 
Not sure i can relate to the question...I don't view myself in terms of atttractiveness...I simply don't notice.
 
I put "often, but not always" because the only time I do not feel attractive is when I have a buzz-cut haircut. Hopefully, I will never have that haircut again and then I'll always feel attractive. :D
 
I voted "rarely" because, as I've complained about before, I was always the girl who got passed over for her friends (still happens to this day.)

Plus, I am constantly frustrated by, what must be God's sense of humor (or torture for the rest of us :))--"The Natural Beauty." I have a friend with naturally luscious, wash-and-wear blonde hair (she doesn't even use conditioner) that curls into perfect ringlets or waves every time (if she wants waves, all she has to do is put it back into a scrunchie for a few hours), wears absolutely no makeup, and always looks better than I do even if I've spent 3 hours on myself, which I hate doing.

I am one of those "Has to Work At It, And I Mean, Really Work At It" girls. Some women spend time on themselves and get amazing results--when I was younger, I used to try to do all of that... as the years have passed by, I've just gotten lazy and apathetic!! I just can't see the value in spending a few hours on hair, makeup, nails, and an outfit... probably because I'm not very good at all of that, while I truly envy other women who are.

I have to go to a wedding next weekend and am like... Oh crud... that means I have to do something with my hair, spend more time on makeup than my normal 5 minutes, probably polish my nails... and wear a dress AND heels???!!!! (Since I have wider, flat feet, I have a penchant for sneakers... not to mention, jeans and t-shirts.) ARGH!!!!!! I threatened to ask Nuke Pooch to go with as a friend just to torture him with the ritual of having to present himself in some sort of formal attire, but he moved out of state before I had the chance. ;)

Misery loves to drag company along... But the proposed company fled the scene before it even happened!
 
I'll admit it. I never felt pretty in my life. I was always told I wasn't good enough, not skinny enough, not pretty enough, all from a fairly early age. I only recently started to realize that I am the way God made me, I don't need to change anything to impress anyone. I may have looked good on the outside, but on the inside I was constantly over analyzing myself and I just couldn't add up to whatever my standards were. And that ate me from the inside out. The other day I actually felt really pretty wearing some clothes I had recently bought. I felt pretty on the inside and outside for the first time ever.
 
well, i felt attractive for 35 years, i never questioned if i was attractive or not but i never felt as miss universe, but last year i was at my job and then someone started a joke about me and my body and they made as if they were vomiting of the thought about me (as jokes), so after that i felt very bad and since then i have been thinking that im very ugly, so now i started a diet and came back to excersice.
Im aware that only a person with God inside will see me as beautiful as God see me, but im trying to improve some things of my body and have more prayers and a positive thoughts.

I don't think thats conceited at all. It means that you have a well-balanced, healthy physique and that is something we all should have :)

OMGosh that is horrible! I'm so sorry you had to go through that. :( Something kind of similar happened to me so I know how it can really affect your self image. There were several years when I felt attractive too when I was younger, but now I have gotten badly out of shape and I know how hurtful people can be. I'm trying to get back in shape too.
 
I wanted to pick always but I thought you mght get the wrong idea.

I feel attractive pretty much everyday but I dont go around all snooty cause I think I am the hottest thing around. I think its important to feel like you look nice. I think it is more than just good GENES though. Its about how you carry yourslef as well, from clothing to hair. And it not to make other people think "Oh she looks good." But taking care of yourself makes you feel good.

Therein lies the problem...Seoul is attractive, but she doesn't think she is...it's all about perspective and self-image. You can't be attractive to everyone, so why do we try? (By this I mean...why do we try to fit in to a mold which is so clearly not ours?) Obviously, Seoul will not ever be a wash-and-wear blonde...and she's better for it.

What most people really, truly look for in a mate is not physical beauty, but inner beauty...it's what truly matters.

You may have seen the pics of me in the monkey suit, and I would have dressed up and gone with Seoul, but, she would have been rather unhappy with me when I headed for the door about 5 minutes into the reception...See you later, Kim. I'll be out in the parking lot.
 
If I was attractive I would have tons of males wanting to be with me. But sadly, that is not the case. So, I forced myself to live with the fact that I am not attractive and I'm ok with it. I have a lot of other great qualities and if guys can't look past the appearance factor, then they're not worth my time.
I made an avatar a while back for Easter that had a beautiful southern belle all dressed in her attire on it, the bonnet, corseted dress, etc. I got TONS of PMs from guys who thought that avatar was me. When I took it down and put up a picture of myself, the PMs stopped (why am I not surprised). It's remarkable to see christian men giving such a double standard, when you hear most of them saying they don't care how a woman looks as long as she has a great personality. What a bunch of malarky! You can't fool me. Guys think the same way whether they're Christian or non-believers.
