Um... It's not clear what you're asking, but I'll take a guess...

There is only one 'satan' and both you and I are insignificant to him. Perhaps you mean "demons"? They are all enemies of Christ, and their role collectively is to steal, kill, and destroy. You deal with them by drawing near to God (1 John 4:4) and by putting your armour on (Ephesians 6:10-18). You close the doors of access by repentance of every known sin and by filling your mind with good things including primarily the word of God. You ask God's protection over all that He has given you. You choose your friends wisely and don't tolerate the celebration of evil in your home. You choose to believe what Jesus says about you.

You allow your thoughts to come and go. Thoughts can be spirits. In dreams they will present as an entity so you can understand the error of your way when listening to the wrong ones.

“Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life.” Proverbs 4:23

Don't try to "control" your thoughts. Rather allow the thought to come and go based on biblical principles.

Picture your thoughts like cloud moving in and out. This is meditation. Don't judge or dwell on it at first. Observe and learn what is being thrown your way... it's like the art of war. Your studying who is for you and against. You can think of your body like a kingdom. If you always focus on the negative you will be destroyed.

“Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand” (Matthew 12:25).

Typically the positive thoughts are from God, unless there's sin involved.

"Faithful are the wounds of a friend [who corrects out of love and concern], But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful [because they serve his hidden agenda]" Proverbs 27:6

To dispel Satan you must first recognize him, and many Christians don't. We do not wait until "death" for the kingdom of God.

Jesus said, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst (or, within you).” Luke 17:20

I have said before about how Jesus was a rich man and in stand by that.

"our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that through His poverty you might be rich." 2 Corinthians 8:9

There are biblical principles for success in the Bible. God is a God of abundance and wealth. In the old testament I love how deep God goes into the wealth of people like Abraham, Solomon, and more bc he knew people would try to spin that.

Every blessing and yes that includes wealth comes from God. Sure evil people use the biblical principle of success for evil. But that was never it's original purpose.

Everything on earth, rules, science, math, order out of disorder is from God. A person is like a tree.... the roots grow first and no one sees the struggle or the hurt involved. But the sun brings out the potential and the deeper the roots the bigger the tree.

The darkness is used for the light, but it doesn't own anything. All creation came from God, but has been tainted by the devil. The devil has not created anything, but destroys as much as he's allowed.

The power of the tongue is extremely important, since everything was created by it. "In the beginning God created the heavens and earth." And the new testament "in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God."

Creation and the power of the tongue are so important that God made it the first sentence for both old and new testament. Before he mentions his love, holiness, mercy, etc. He wants us to know this. Why?

Because it is our purpose... which is the main question every person asks. Being created in the image of God our purpose is to create and communicate. These are also the top 2 ways to gain wealth and prosperity according to biblical principles.

Once you understand that the Bible is about the kingdom of God and that it starts now your entire world will change. Think of a kingdom like a government. It's also a great way to please God which most Christians want. There are rules to obey.... you may hate them but they exist. I can't stand gravity when I fall, but it still exists.

Moses was put into the palace, as was Joseph. They were being taught the "rules of the world" in order to help God's people. Like them we are called to understand the rules of the world to help the children of God. That is also our purpose.

Steal Kill and Destroy?
Humble yourself under the hand of God and resist the devil. We do this by exercising our will to choose God's ways and His will in preference to self will and the ways of the world. We also need to avail ourselves of the armour of God. Whenever a thought comes that is contrary to God's word, we need to use God's word against that thought. It worked for Jesus in the wilderness. It is effctive for us also.

if God, lives in you, say, the LORD Rebuke You, Satan, in the Name of Yeshua [like Mark 16 (Jesus Commanded) us to do (also in Jude)].
then ignore him and go about your business.

Keeping the enemy away is our Job ----God has given us the tools in His Word to deal well with Satan and his demons ------we have to execute the instructions given to us to keep Satan and his tribe away from our thoughts where they can sow negative seeds ------and quench our Faith -----

Satan and his tribe is after your Faith --that is why your faith has to be deeply grounded and rooted in Jesus Christ --who is the Word -----so you can remain steadfast in your Stance -----

Something to think about -----

Your Stance is ------I am the righteousness of God -----I am righteous in Christ ----and I am seen as being righteous by God ---my righteousness is Finished and Complete --I am a new Creation in God's eyes ---nothing can take that from me ----

Your State is ----not fully manifested yet --this is to do with your Faith --there is work to be done on our part till we die to fulfill our state ----the state requires working on our Sanctification through becoming Mature in our Faith walk in Christ and developing more and more of His Character --and renewing our Mind ---so the gates are shut tight and the enemy is blocked from entering ------The State includes your mind -----so your State walk has to be brought up to your Stance level -----

Your State is where the enemy can enter by stealing your Faith and instilling fear --doubt--unbelief and anxiety in you -----

So in your Stance ----you see the reflection of your new self who is in Jesus ----as our life is hidden in Christ

Bible Gateway Colossians 3 :: NIV. Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

So your State can't change your Stance -----you can't lose your Salvation -----your secure in Christ Jesus and your life is hidden in Christ Jesus -----

But your Stance can Change your State ----your state can change as you mature in Christ -----you can become more Christ like and strengthen your Faith and renew your mind to His Word ---which will keep the enemy at bay -----

How to dispel Satan?

This is a very good question. Jesus is the only way to do so.

1. You must be in a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ because it is His authority that demons listen to.

Without a Born-again experience, no demon will comply with you unless they see Jesus in you. Acts 19:15.

2. You must use the word of God

The Lord Jesus in the wilderness, tempted by the devil, spoke the word of God. and quoted Deutermony when Jesus said, " It is Written ."

3. You must Pray and fast

The Lord Jesus said to the Disciples who could not cast out a devil, " This type only comes out by Prayer & fasting. Matthew 17:21

The word of God teaches us to "1. submit to God. 2. resist the devil, and he will flee from you" James 4:7

Christians will struggle in their walk if they do not separate from the world and draw closer to the Lord. Yet the flesh will always seek that is opposite from the will of God. The empowerment of the Holy Spirit helps us to be and live an effective witness of the Lord Jesus Christ. The devil will attack you even if you do all of the things listed. But you will be victorious because you know Jesus Christ and HE in you will bring you to absolute victory.

James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

The definition of resisting the devil is... submitting your entire life to the Lord.

Mark 16:17
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Don't ask the Lord to get the devil off of you because He never told anybody to do that. (it didn't work for the Apostle Paul either!)

Asking the Lord HOW to get the devil off of you is OK because one needs to learn what God's Word teaches about this... the 2 scriptures about are the starting point... the biggest thing one can do is SUBMIT THEIR ENTIRE LIVES TO THE LORD and stop doing sunful things!

I enjoy many sunful things, like going to the beach.
Going to the beach is not a sin... but taking your binoculars so you can check out the babes in string bikinis and lust after them sexually... IS actually a sin.

Are you one of those calvinists that claims to have no choice but to sin every day in thought, word, and dead?

Like at any given moment you might just bust out in to sin and become the next mass shooter we hear about on the news cause you can't control yourself??? clueless-scratching.gif

In my personal life, I've learned not to trust calvinists because of their UN-biblical beliefs cause they really do frequently bust out in to sinful behavior frequently crazy.gif

Not when one has some common sense it's not!
First you say, Jesus never told anybody to do that. Then you claim we are to ask Him because He
lets us know in the Bible. Yeah, no common sense in those contradictory statments from you.

No, I said it's OK to ask Him to teach us HOW to cast the devil out... not to ask Him to do it for us.

Two totally complete different things!

We are told to resist the devil, and he will flee. This has already been posted, and it is from Scripture despite what you said.
