Are you not familiar with what a forum is? This is the forum of Christian chat. There is a chatroom in the form of an app based thing that I haven't tried yet which is above all the thread categories (which contain threads which contain posts). It's something like a comment section on a news post.
Basically when you type in the white box at the bottom of the screen it will make a "post" usually having to do with the thread topic. If you click reply in the bottom righthand corner of someone's post it will put up line of text with "Quote="username", post: #, member ID #] and then what they wrote... [/Quote] which means the quote is over you from whom you are quoting.
It also sends them a notification that you quoted their post so it's a good way to get a response from someone.
See I quoted your post with that tiny reply that's on each post.
If I just type in the bottom box that wouldn't be there. Hopefully that helped somewhat.

This is the Forum part of the site.. There is also a Chat room part of the site but you need to dowload the software for it.. Not sure how you are accessing this site ? Computer or phone but the steps one needs to take is different depending on what you are using..
There will always be another reply box on the bottom when someone posts the latest post.. Some people like to do multiple posts.. Some people like to do it all in one post like i have done..

ty for the welcome .. I am sure I shall catch on eventually .. until then, this is good .. I did download the app for the chatroom but haven't been able to access it .. but no matter, that, too, shall be or not to be .. lol ..
May i suggest going into the tech support part of the forum.. Thats where people have gone when they are having problems with the chat app.. I had problems too.. I needed to uninstall some software and reinstall a newer version of it.. Link Below::
