Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit in the womb, not at His baptism.

“Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit." (Matt. 1:20)

if you are believer in a trinity -- the father of Christ would not God the Father, it would be the spirit or as some prefer, the "ghost".

It was and it wasn't. It was technically held on Passover on the Jewish calendar day of Nissan 14, such a day starts and ends at 6 pm; it wasn't according to our time, which starts and ends at 12.

the "last supper" is the Spiritual Passover which Christ instituted on the night of the 14th, the physical Passover is during the day (light) of the afternoon of the 14th.

Christ died at our 3 PM - the afternoon of the 14th, at sundown ending the 14th, the Feast of Unleavened Bread begins on the 15th

Passover is not a Holy Day, it is the "preparation day"

Agreed. The exact year matters. And we can determine the year by following out the historic fulfillment of the Seventy-weeks of years prophecy from Daniel 9:27 while matching it to references made in the gospel accounts (like in John 2:20, the fact that the temple was 46 yrs in building at the time the Messiah's ministry began at 30yrs old), while knowing that there's no such thing as a "zero" year when going from BCE to CE., and know that the Hebrew reckoning of time is to count the 1st year as year 1. This brings us to a 3 BCE birth.

Then, through the first chapters of Luke, we can determine that the Messiah was born on the feast of tabernacles (15th of the 7th month) using the timing of Zechariah's priestly course (1 Chronicles 24:7-18) and John the Baptist's birth as reference points.

Next, if we remove John 6:4 (because it was added by the RCC), that brings Messiah's ministry to exactly 490 days, perfectly aligning with the seventy-weeks prophecy and places His crucifixion in 27/28AD.

But regarding the last supper, there is a translation error that's causing you both to miss each other... because you're both correct from a pov.

The account says the day was "the preparation", when lambs are slaughtered in preparation for the feast. Because no work is allowed to be done on the first day of the feast by law (because it is a high sabbath), you're correct, the Passover is not "the Feast of Unleavened Bread" (but bible translators wouldn't know this culturally, so they mislabeled Chag HaMatzot "Passover" or "Passover Festival" or "Passover Feast"). They knew the sacrificial lamb was called "the passover" but didn't know the name of the feast, so they were basically calling it "the feast of the sacrificial lamb".

This is the reason why you and @Lovette are missing each other's points.

In truth, Passover is the final workday before the high sabbath Day One of the 7-day feast of Unleavened Bread. Messiah was crucified on Passover (at 3pm) at the exact time when the yearling lambs were slaughtered on the temple mount, and He was in the ground (as they were placed in the ovens) before the start of the feast (which starts that evening with the evening's meal). Which means His last supper was the evening before. Here's the sequence:

Last Supper (Passover/Preparation day) - Tuesday evening...

[betrayal, arrest, trial, beating...]

His crucifixion (Passover/Preparation day) - Wednesday daylight...

[Joseph of Aramathaea placed the Messiah's body in the tomb]
[The Marys witness this and leave]
[Nic brings burial spices, and he and Joseph anoint the body]

High Sabbath Feast day 1 - Wednesday evening...

[No work. No buying or selling]
[Everyone eats the Passover Lamb w/bitter herbs (romaine lettuce) for the feast of Chag HaMatzot]

High Sabbath Feast day 1 - Thursday daylight...

[No work. No buying or selling]

Feast day 2 (work day) - Thursday evening...

[No shops open at night]

Feast day 2 (work day) - Friday daylight...

[The Marys buy burial spices to anoint His body, assuming it didn't happen]
[This was a full day's task since they needed enough for a human body]
[Plan to anoint the body at the start of the new week because the weekly sabbath was upon them]

Feast day 3 (weekly sabbath) - Friday evening...

[No work. No buying or selling]

Feast day 3 (weekly sabbath) - Saturday daylight...

[No work. No buying or selling]

Feast day 4 (Day of First Fruits) - Saturday evening...

[Resurrection of Messiah and the firstfruit saints]
[Messiah remains secluded in worship as required by the high priest, preparing the firstfruit offering]

Feast day 4 (Day of First Fruits) - Sunday daylight...

[Messiah presents Himself to the women but asks that they not touch Him yet]
[Messiah presents Himself and those who also resurrected with Him as firstfruits to the Almighty in heaven]
[Messiah likely went to preach to the unclean spirits imprisoned in the Pit]
[Messiah then presents Himself to the apostles on earth and encourages them to touch Him]
Haven't you noticed that in this way you'd add up 4 nights, rendering the resurrection at the 4th day?

The "preparation day" was Nissan 15, the day AFTER the Passover, not before. It is really frustrating that you guys interpret the NT with your own traditions and doctrines isntead of God's ordained dates in the OT, complicating otherwise simple matters.

On the fourteenth day of the first month is the Passover of the Lord. And on the fifteenth day of this month is the feast; unleavened bread shall be eaten for seven days. On the first day you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work. (Num. 28:16-18)

if you are believer in a trinity -- the father of Christ would not God the Father, it would be the spirit or as some prefer, the "ghost".
"Ghost" is dead people who met an untimely demise, wondering around the earth, punished to finished their earthly business. This is not my invention or any modern invention, but an existing belief during the Lord's ministry, Thomas thought he was seeing a ghost when the resurrected Jesus appeared to him.

Nope, it was Paul who later instituted it, what Lord Jesus did was proposing the new covenant.

For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said,“Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes. (1 Cor. 11:23-26)

I've avoided nothing. Haven't you read in Acts 1 that one will receive power when being born in the Holy Spirit?

You are correct, Christ was put in the tomb minutes before sundown ended the 14th, at mid week our Wednesday.
Thus Christ was in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights exactly as HE foretold.

I have come to see 31 AD as the year He died.

Born on 7/15/4 BC -- Died on 1/14/31 AD at exactly 33 1/2 years old to the day.
His 7 years of confirming the marriage covenant was cut short at "midweek" -at 3 1/2 years
He began the 3 1/2 years when He had turned 30, as that is the age a priest can work in the Temple.

Another interesting fact, 7/15/4 BC, His birth, is the first Holy Day of the Feast of Tabernacles, a High Sabbath
7/15/27 AD, 3 1/2 years began when He turned 30
1/14/31 AD death
All 3 events occurred on double Sabbath years.

A DSY is when Passover (1/14), the Feast of Trumpets (7/1), the First day of Tabernacles (7/15) and the Last Great Day (7/22) all fall on the 7th day Sabbath.

You are correct, Christ was put in the tomb minutes before sundown ended the 14th, at mid week our Wednesday.

Nope, if it were Wednesday, He'd be in the tomb for 4 nights and his rise would be on the 4th day - Wednesday evening to Thusday morning, Thursday evening to Friday morning, Friday evening to Saturday morning, Saturday evening to Sunday morning. It has to be Thursday. I might be wrong on the mid week point.

the dead are dead, the word translated as ghost is: wind, spirit, breath, #4151

there are no ghost. The dead know nothing: read Ecclesiastics

Angels and demons are spirits

humans are NOT immortal souls --- we die and we are -- dead.

using man's days and nights

Thursday night - first night
Thursday day - first day

Friday night - second night
Friday day - second day

Saturday night - third night
Saturday day - third day

In correct culculation, Jewish nights and days must be used instead of Gregarian, a calendar day starts and ends at 6 pm. If your "thursday night" means Wednesday evening to Thusday morning, then you've missed Sunday night.

Haven't you noticed that in this way you'd add up 4 nights, rendering the resurrection at the 4th day?
He is the lord of the sabbath. He resurrected on the sabbath and then had High Priestly duties to do (specifically for the firstfruit offering). You can't do that if you are dead. The 3rd day was the Sabbath day, not Sunday. He didn't present himself until Sunday, but he was alive on the Sabbath.

Wrong. Friend preparation day is ALWAYS before the feast, it's in the word. Read the OT passage you shared. What are they preparing on preparation day? In the Old Testament, the lambs were slaughtered on the 14th, and their blood covered the doorposts.

Mark 14:12-16 [my strike through is ignoring translation error]
On the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrificed the Passover lamb, His disciples asked Him, “Where do You want us to go and prepare the Passover so You may eat it?”

13 So He sent two of His disciples and told them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a water jug will meet you. Follow him. 14 Wherever he enters, tell the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room for Me to eat the Passover with My disciples?”’

15 He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make the preparations for us there.

16 So the disciples went out, entered the city, and found it just as He had told them, and
they prepared the Passover

They are preparing the lamb by sacrificing it. The lamb is sacrificed on the 14th of the first month.

Mark 15:42-23
42 When evening had already come, because it was the preparation day, that is, the day before the Sabbath,

43 Joseph of Arimathea came, a prominent member of the Council, who himself was waiting for the kingdom of God; and he gathered up courage and went in before Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus.

Messiah was crucified on Preparation Day. which means he was crucified on the 14th, BEFORE the feast. No one is allowed to work on the feast day because it is a high sabbath.

Read it again, man. The evening of the preparation day had already come, that's the BEGINNING of the preparation day, from 6 pm to 6 pm! Since that's the day before the Sabbath, it would be Friday, at that point Lord Jesus was already dead! At 3 pm! Is it really this difficult to comprehend a Jewish day from 6 pm to 6 pm? This has actually proved that the crucifixion must've taken place on Thursday!

Now when evening had come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath ... (Mk. 15:42)

Yes, the preparation day was the high sabbath, Nissan 15; the next day was a regular Saturday Sabbath.

Yes, the preparation day was the high sabbath, Nissan 15; the next day was a regular Saturday Sabbath.
If the preparation day was a high sabbath, wouldn't they be in violation of the law for "preparing" anything?

Has anyone looked closely at the Greek in Matthew 28:1? The word translated Sabbath is sabbaton. The same word is translated week later in the verse. Sabbaton is the plural form of the word. Could a better translation be:

In the end of the Sabbaths, as it began to dawn towards the first of the Sabbaths...?

Ask the Pharisees and high priest about that, who badgered Lord Jesus on multiple occassions for healing the sick and performing miracles on Sabbath, and they themselves gathered for "customary work", colluded with Pilate to set guards at the tomb.

On the next day, which followed the Day of Preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate, saying, “Sir, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise.’ Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night and steal Him away, and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead.’ So the last deception will be worse than the first.” Pilate said to them, “You have a guard; go your way, make it as secure as you know how.” So they went and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the guard. (Matt. 27:62-66)

John 19:31 KJV
The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

John 19:31 BEREAN
It was the day of Preparation, and the next day was a High Sabbath. In order that the bodies would not remain on the cross during the Sabbath, the Jews asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies removed.

John 19:31 NIV
Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be a special Sabbath. Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down.

John 19:31 NASB
Now then, since it was the day of preparation, to prevent the bodies from remaining on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews requested of Pilate that their legs be broken, and the bodies be taken away.

The high sabbath day of the 15th was approaching (i.e., evening was approaching, they were losing daylight), but it was currently preparation day (the remaining daylight left of the 14th). The Jewish leaders didn't want bodies to remain on the cross when the feast started.

I don't know where you've got the idea that the Passover lamb is to be "sacrificed the afternoon before the Passover." In the "example set in Egypt", the lamb was killed right on the Passover. And there's no "unofficial Galilean calendar." Again, if He got the date wrong, then He wasn't the messiah.

You must watch over it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to slaughter it at twilight. They are to take the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the crossbeam of the houses where they will eat it. With unleavened bread and bitter herbs they are to eat it. (Ex. 12:6-8)
So, all the records that indicate that there were two calendars operating in 1st century Palestine are wrong, even those dating to the 1st century? Might I ask where you got this information?

Also, if we follow your argument then both John and Paul are wrong, John claims that Jesus died on the day of preparation when the lambs were slaughtered, not on the evening of the first day of Passover, and Paul is wrong when he claims that Jesus is our Passover lamb, because again, by your logic, Jesus died too early.

Once again, I will point out that there are problems present in the accounts that require one to make a choice as to which is true. If "A" is true that is fine, but that means that "B" is not. The only real issue is if you want to insist that both "A" and "B" are both true because they contradict each other.

And I might note that claiming there was a "special" sabbath is not supported by the Greek. The Greek merely refers to the crucifixion occurring the day before the sabbath, no additional term to imply "special".
Next, if we remove John 6:4 (because it was added by the RCC),
There is no clear evidence to support this claim or to justify the exclusion of the verse. Rather, in accordance with 1st century CE writing styles, it would seem to be original. If it is not original, then the proper guidelines would not have been followed and the entire gospel would have been dismissed as second rate literature and not worth preserving. A point often overlooked in assessing the gospels and Acts, there were literary standards and the standards were expected to be met if a work was to be deemed worthy f preservation.
