You are in error, First Fruit is always on Sunday, so is Pentecost - the first day of the 8th week, 50 days from First Fruit, not Sabbath.wow, I never heard that one.
in a post above I showed from 29AD to 33AD a sunday resurrection is not possible.
Passover has to be on a Thursday for a Sunday resurrection, and I looked at years in both direction from 31AD and no Thursday Passover
Pentecost is the Day the Body of Christ began to be chosen, HIS Wife. there was no "church" until 50 days after Christ was resurrected on the Sabbath
Pentecost is determined by counting 49 days after the 7th Day Sabbath that occurs during the 7 days of Unleavened Bread.
in 31AD 49 days after Christ was resurrected on the 7th Day Sabbath - the 50th day is Pentecost which is a Sunday.
Sunday (first day of a week) to a Sunday is 50 days, 50 days after His resurrection on the Sabbath
Christ is the first of the first fruits and the body of Christ are the First Fruits
Over the last 2000 years only the Wife of Christ is being chosen.
From many angles a sunday resurrection become very unlikely, if not impossible
Every wonder why Rome changed Passover on the 14th, to easter on a sunday?
and all but a handful of churches follow Rome.
Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest. He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted on your behalf; on the day after the Sabbath (Sunday) the priest shall wave it. (Lev. 23:11-12)
‘And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath (Sunday), from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath (Sunday); then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord. (Lev. 23:15-16)
