I also found an abandoned puppy on the St Louis freeway and named her Freeway.
I read of a lady who named her cat Whoopee. She decided to change it after she found herself on her front porch late one night in her nightgown yelling, "WHOOPEE, WHOOPEE".

But I would probably simplify it to just 'muffin'.
