The name "antichrist" is only found in 1 John 2:18, 2:22, 4:3, and 2 John 7. The Apostle John was the only Bible writer to use the name antichrist. Studying these verses, we learn that many antichrists (false teachers) will appear between the time of Christ's first and Second Coming, but there will be one great antichrist who will rise to power during the end times, or "last hour," as 1 John phrases it. He will deny that Jesus is the Christ. He will deny both God the Father and God the Son. He will be a liar and a deceiver.

The Illuminati conspiracy is a conspiracy theory which holds that there is a "global elite" society that is either in control of the world or is seeking to take control of the world. As with most conspiracy theories, beliefs regarding the Illuminati conspiracy vary widely. As a result, it is virtually impossible to give a synopsis of the Illuminati conspiracy. Popularized in recent books and movies, the Illuminati conspiracy has definitely reached "cult fiction" status.
If one were to attempt to summarize the Illuminati conspiracy, it would go something like this: The Illuminati began as a secret society under the direction of Jesuit priests. Later, a council of five men, one for each of the points on the pentagram, formed what was called “The Ancient and Illuminated Seers of Bavaria.” They were high order Luciferian Freemasons, thoroughly immersed in mysticism and Eastern mental disciplines, seeking to develop the super powers of the mind. Their alleged plan and purpose is world domination for their lord (who precisely this lord is varies widely). The Illuminati are alleged to be the primary motivational forces encouraging global governance, a one-world religious ethic, and centralized control of the world’s economic systems. Organizations such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the International Criminal Court are seen as tentacles of the Illuminati. According to the Illuminati conspiracy, the Illuminati are the driving force behind efforts to brainwash the gullible masses through thought control and manipulation of beliefs, through the press, the educational curriculum, and the political leadership of the nations.
The Illuminati supposedly have a private board of elite, interlocking delegates who control the world’s major banks. They create inflations, recessions, and depressions and manipulate the world markets, supporting certain leaders and coups and undermining others to achieve their overall goals. The supposed goal behind the Illuminati conspiracy is to create and then manage crises that will eventually convince the masses that globalism, with its centralized economic control and one-world religious ethic, is the necessary solution to the world’s woes. This structure, usually known as the “New World Order,” will, of course, be ruled by the Illuminati.
Does the Illuminati conspiracy have any basis from a Christian/biblical perspective? Perhaps. There are many end-times prophecies in the Bible that are interpreted by most to point to an end times one-world government, a one-world monetary system, and a one-world religion. Many Bible prophecy interpreters see this New World Order as being controlled by the Antichrist, the end-times false messiah. If the Illuminati conspiracy and the New World Order has any validity and is indeed occurring, for the Christian, there is one fact that must be remembered: God has sovereignly allowed all these developments, and they are not outside of His overall plan. God is in control, not the Illuminati. No plan or scheme the Illuminati develop could in any way prevent, or even hinder, God's sovereign plan for the world.
If there is indeed some truth to the Illuminati conspiracy, the Illuminati are nothing but pawns in the hands of Satan, tools to be manipulated in his conflict with God. The fate of the Illuminati will be the same as the fate of their lord, Satan/Lucifer, who will be cast into the lake of fire, to be tormented day and night, forever and ever (Revelation 20:10). In John 16:33 Jesus declared, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." For Christians, all we need to understand about the Illuminati conspiracy is summarized in the words of 1 John 4:4, "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world."

I was just talking with my mom the other day on this subject and she believes that Illuminati is very very strong in Hollywood circles but I am the type who believes there needs to be some proof in the pudding so to speak. Its something that I would really pray and seek God out about as I do not believe in just making quick assumptions. Certainly I do not have my head in the sand and of course, I know that there are evil people everywhere with ulterior motives to plot against the masses but still, we need more proof than just Youtube and hearsay. Also, even if someone says they did something, how do we know they didn't just say it for attention? Point is, we really will never know for sure unless God SPECIFICALLY shows us.

I'm just starting to learn about the illuminati. They are very evil and they do exist. They operate under free masonry. Every christian should know that masons are devil worshippers. The illuminati control Hollywood and the music industry. Jay-z is a 33rd degree Mason and he has his wife Beyonce involved. That's really sad. She should have never married him. Now he got her in to being a mason. A lot of big time rappers and Hollywood actors have sold there soul to the devil for fortune and fame. That's exactally how the devil works. Wow read all these texts and no one knows what the term refers to except the one person that mentioned the masons. The group is called the Bilderberg Group. I know I can't make a horse drink water so I am not going to go into too much depth. Here's the last list of 60-80% of the attendees from the 2013 annual meeting.

This is the worldwide shadow gov. The illuminati does in fact exists and is pure evil. It is a satanic organization with the agenda to desensitize ones thoughts and emotions to immoral things as to combat conviction and pull people away from the truth of God and righteousness. It works to keep peoples mind occupied on things with no eternal value and exposes people to believe things that are presented which are false. They are in all high areas of the world involved in things that people have become dependant upon. I truly believe that this organization will usher in the anti-christ spoken of in revelation and he will fool the world with their already in place tactics that they have been using for decades. Fatahjm, if the Illuminati does not exist, then why do so many people refer to it by name? Celebrities, actors, musicians talk about the Illuminati all the time!! Illuminati symbols are in music videos, even in cartoons for goodness sake!! Watch Lemony Snicket's movie "A Series of Unfortunate Events." Illuminati symbols are in EVERY scene of that movie. Illuminati is NOT a myth, it is a FACT.

Anyone interested in knowing the truth about the illuminati needs only get on youtube. Many videos of Christians who were saved out of the illuminati. If they claim Christ and preach him and I mean preach Christ why would they lie about what they were delivered from. Plus they all tell the same stories about the structure of the society from what they know. Most of what they say is hard to believe because it's so outrageous, but I believe them.

I was told by a high level Mason that their enemy is the church. Now as far as how it is organized is a lot more complicated. This is a network not created by man but by our spiritual enemy. It is loosely organized by the human conception, but it is a real phenomenon. Anything or anyone that is not within the body of Christ is essentially part of this network of evil. Whether or not there are wealthy people (or people in positions of power) worshipping Satan outwardly, they do so subtly and fully.
