A questioner asks:

‘And that He might Reconcile both unto God in one Body by the Cross,
having slain the enmity thereby’ (Eph. 2:16). This one verse alone
refutes an Acts 2, 9, 13, 18 or 28 position—from a Pauline prison
epistle no less. How would you address this insurmountable problem?
”"

Answer found in Question Box:

"Your statement seems to imply that you believe the Church, the Body of
Christ, began at the Cross. However, this particular Passage is not stating
when God Reconciled us, but how He Accomplished It. It was not until
after the conversion of Paul that we learn that both Jews and Gentiles
are now Reconciled to God By the Cross, thus Forming the Body of Christ
(I Cor. 12:13).

While the Death, Burial, and Resurrection of Christ were Revealed as a
fact in time past, Paul was the first to present them as Good News.
Furthermore, he was the first to proclaim them as the terms of
salvation for Jews and Gentiles in this dispensation. Two passages
in Paul’s epistles confirm the above:
“For This Is Good and Acceptable In The Sight of God our Savior;
Who will have all men to be saved....For there is One God, and
One Mediator between God and men, The Man Christ Jesus;
Who Gave Himself A Ransom for all, to be testified in due
time. Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle
...” (I Tim. 2:3-7).
“For I delivered unto you first of all That Which I also Received
[From The Lord By Special Revelation], how That Christ Died for
our sins According To The Scriptures; and that He Was Buried,
and that He Rose again the third day According To The Scriptures”
(I Cor. 15:3,4).

Not exactly.

Hebrews 10
19Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.

And I highly recommend reading the whole book of Hebrews without any distractions a few times. Audio Bible is good too.

Sooooo....whats the problem?
I don't see the problem.
The Practical Beginning Of The Church, Which Is HIS (Christ's) Body

There is Much Confusion of when our "church assembly" started:

Was The "ONE New Man" (Eph 2:15) started with Adam and Eve,
as some believe, the "church in the wilderness" (anybody?), or
perchance the (political kingdom) assembly of Mat 16:18?

IF one states his opinion of "AT the cross, does he then refute
all
of those positions, as well as the ones listed in the op?

Let us then examine this with "What Saith The Scriptures?":

when? At the cross, correct?:
"...Having abolished in His Flesh the enmity, even the
law of commandments contained in ordinances;..."

How? BY The Cross, correct?:
"...for To Make In Himself of Twain ONE New Man,
so Making Peace; And That He Might Reconcile
Both Unto God in ONE Body BY The Cross..."

Again, when? At the cross, correct?:
"...having slain the enmity thereby:..." (Eph 2:15-16)

--------

I could continue to address this (insurmountable?) when issue (weeks/months?), but since there are Already other Bible studies
that say it way better than I could - Please enjoy!:

The Practical Beginning Of The Body Of Christ (II)

Our Precious brother K Lawson has well said about "AT the cross":
"Jesus, from the cross, had interceded on behalf of
His people, “Father, forgive them for they know not
what they do.” That prayer was answered, and God’s
dealings with Israel at Pentecost Prove that He was
still in covenant relationship with them and had not,
as yet, cast them away. Not until Paul do we read of
this alienation (Rom. 11:15, 11:32, Eph. 2:17)."

Doesn't matter so much to me when we started calling the Saints a "Church". What matters is that Christ died for all men of every age that lived by faith.

Abraham and Oyster have both been bought by the same Blood.
