It can happen now without a satellite internet connection. Though what will 10 substations knocked out of 55,000 in the U.S. going to do? Certainly won't take down the whole grid.

Satellite internet connection is just like it was going from dail up phone connection to cable connection. It's just a new way to connect to the internet.

Actually I have heard experts on this topic say that if you target 10 key substations it can take down the whole grid. Yes, you have to know what you are doing. Obviously if you took down ten in NYC that would be easy for the rest of the country to work around.

But if you take them out by setting off a suitcase nuke in the vicinity it would be far more catastrophic than simply causing a substation to be taken out. The blast radius would be several blocks, so altogether you would probably see very serious damage on twelve city blocks. But because of the radiation people would evacuate even more blocks. So it isn't simply going in and replacing a substation, the entire area would have been fried.

I would also point out that the Lord likened the rapture to both the days of Lot (fire falling) and Noah's flood (could indicate the 500 Tsunami from a Poseidon torpedo. If a number of those were set off along our coastlines they would take out far more than ten substations.

I really don't mean this to be nasty. I spent a lot of my life in the ministry of evangelizing, going from town to town to spread the Word. We as Christians need to be more sensitive to seekers. If you haven't yet, watch the movie Jesus Revolution. Too many time Christians bar the door to heaven for others. I believe Mr. Musk is a seeker and very close to receiving the Lord as Savior if he isn't torn apart because he is a public figure. Watch the following video and tell me that the Holy Spirit isn't speaking to this man. We need to pray he comes to know the truth before it's too late.

But you are judging him. You don't know his heart. By the video it shows he has a head knowledge of Jesus, what he needs is a heart knowledge. Everyone is closed off to Christ until the Holy Spirit moves in their lives. Because he is inventive and thinks outside the box doesn't mean he has a spirit of anti- Christ. Some of his inventions have been very helpful to people. I believe he is open and seeking the reason for life. We have the Answer, and our duty is to share it.

I don't think this thread should be considered a judgement on Elon Musk nor does it need to be. We all can pray and hope he receives Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior.

Instead I think the thread is more about prophecies and looking at current events to see where we are. I don't think we can have an Antichrist (counterfeit christ) without having a forerunner first. So instead of talking about Antichrist who some argue that you cannot know beforehand, or the rapture, which some argue you cannot know beforehand, let's look and see if there is a potential candidate for forerunner (Bible does not say we cannot know him beforehand) that is making straight the paths to the mark of the beast.

This video is full of admiration for Elon Musk and I think it is difficult to not speak with respect for the things he has accomplished.

However, the reason for the question of the title is that the forerunner for the Antichrist would make straight his paths to have the mark of the Beast. That requires Starlink. Also, the beast system in my opinion refers to AI and robots, which also includes Elon Musk. Not only so but I think that self driving cars were a major stepping stone in the development of AI, Drones, and robots.
