He does not change and yes this means that LOVE will follow someone to the Lake of Fire....this is very hard Biblical truth to understand, but once you do...religion ends and relationship begins..

I think the words "forgive them father, for they know not what they do" While men were nailing him to the cross. and his selfless sacrifice based on his true love would prove the answer is yes.
Making someone earn your love is not love, if it was, we would all suffer our own fate and be condemned for all eternity

God's love is unconditional. All are sinners and all are called to receive eternal life through the only door, Jesus Christ, the Way, the truth, the light. So can we love God back unconditionally?

G-d’s love is not unconditional… unfailing… yes…undeserved…yes… completely one-sided in inattention…yes… unconditional … no.
Y-shua said you must be born again. Y-shua said if you hold on to my teachings, then you will know the truth and the Truth will set you free.

I would agree unfailing but not without condition. God is Love .Love has conditions .Love as an action is work. The first condition as a work of love is, it is patient. If it was not patient it could not meet the second condition love is kind, because it is kind it is never jealous and therefore it does not envy, so on so forth .
God's love is offered unconditionally; "For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten Son". But his unconditional love is extended through grace and conditioned upon us receiving it. Those who reject Him will experience his wrath. Since God hates sin and wickedness unconditionally, his love cannot be unconditional too. Love and hate are opposites, and since both are attributes of God, neither can be unconditional. God hates for a reason and he loves for a reason. A person who will not receive him and will not repent, will fall under judgement. So I believe God's love is unconditionally offered, but not automatically administered. Unconditional love presumes all are saved, but since some are not, love as it pertains to salvation, must be conditional... jmo

God has always loved us. His love for us is not based in conditions that we have met. It is not conditional love, it is not, "I'll love you...IF" love. Because agape love, which is God's love, is based in the character of God, and is in no way dependent upon the object of His love.

Love with God is not emotion, it is who he is.
There are numerous verses that show us the God does not delight in the death of the wicked and that he wishes all to come into repentance...Perfect Love seeks no expectation of a return....
Amen... God has always loved as a condition, as many as the Father has given to the Son, the church His bride.
Unconditional is without condition. That would be more like I believe; where there is no law as a condition, there is no trespass.
The modern day philosophy that tries to eliminate all discrimination, seen with divorce without contract of a moral cause, same sex marriage crowds, or the transgender crowd pushing as those kinds of what they call goods increase for more equal rights, which is their way of saying equal morals.
I’m not an alarmist but it seems to spreading in the church breaking down the walls of separation . It could be the beginning of the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet.
But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: Mark 13:14
Luke adds to that kind of moral breakdown.
Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that
which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
We need prayer for the harest.
I would say His unfailing love is based on His condition as a law, not subject to change, but not, "I'll love you...IF" love, as the condition. I agree with that, but would add as a condition or a law. His word is law. His love says; He loves us as a law “because” He loves us.
Therefore as a condition His perfect love is tenderhearted patiently working in us and therefore kind towards those who do not deserve it. His Love is Law. His unfailing gospel is peace.
In one way it would represent the opinion I am offering sort of like the verses below, that I believe was used to humble His people, as the same kind of work of humility, that works in the believer today..
The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor “choose you”, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: But because “the LORD loved you”, and because “he would keep the oath” which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. Deu 7:7-8

These creatures are making a conscious decision to not be in His Light for they believe their will is above His will.
Come judgment they will be judged by their own words and deeds which will have worked together to separate them from our Father etrnally.
It is our Father's desire that no sould be lost, but from my study of the Word it seems this will not be the cse. Our Father loves perfectly, for He is Love. There can be no love unless it is from Him, not even the gift of love we have been given, for it is from Him, it IS He.

Furthermore we can plainly behold (by v23-24) again who actually loves Him, and who does not: the one who loves Him submits to and relies upon His Words; and the one who loves Him not is the one who does not submit to nor relies upon His sayings. [for me anyway] we only need to listen to Christ without distraction and then we can know how it is with Him, and not what another tells us.

Many are distracted by misunderstanding (John 3:16) in which Christ is saying [in plain talk] that God loved mankind so, that He is offering His Son for our chance to repent for the remission of sins through His sacrifice: God loved mankind that much in order for us to receive mercy without judgment that we would come to repentance, rather than to perish.
Note: [again for me anyway] following the Lord Jesus Christ is not a scholastically achieving endeavor, and never was, but was always meant by our Lord to be in simplicity so that a common carpenter, or fisherman, or tent-maker, or such like common practical person can receive His Words without the toil of the wise and prudent.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Yep. And that was all of us. And yet, God still so loved us that He sent His one and only Son to die for us. Go figure.
