We establish the law but Love is the fulfillment of the law and Jesus showed that, So the question is how do you think you keep the Sabbath?
How do we keep the sabbath?
The way Jesus kept it.
The way the bible says to keep it.
The way God said in the 4th commandment.
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

The Blood of Jesus Christ takes away all my sin of NOT fulfilling the Law; and the Body of Jesus Christ gives me the Righteousness of the human fulfillment of the Law.

The Lord our Righteousness.

Faith in Jesus Christ does NOT void the Law, it fulfills the Law in us.

The good works I do now are NOT for salvation but, just simply because I loooooove God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.(y)
I see Jesus as our rightousness too. ,
Jesus gifts us with perfect righteousness. Our law keeping efforts will never save us, because we can't earn salvation.
Faith in Jesus fulfils the law in us, which is why i say the law of love (10 commandments) is not void.
Should we see fruit of the faith? Should we see the working of Gods transforming love?
Should we obey the laws because we love God?
The reason i keep the sabbath is because i Looooove God. Not to gain salvation. The sabath is a wonderful blessing and i only wish people would experience what God has given us every week.
I love God and worship Him every day of the week but the Sabbath was made for man and a gift at creation.

Jesus came to save us from sin.
How? Justification.
And Sanctification. Jesus in us, changing us.
Sin is the transgression of the law and by Jesus transforming us, we are changed.
Joh 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Heb 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

True ...there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus.
Why?
Because if we are in Christ we are covered by His rightousness. Justification..
But also because when the Spirit of God is controlling your life, you live like Jesus (fruits of the Spirit). If Jesus is controlling your life you will be like Jesus.

Jesus perfectly obeded the law.
When i obey Jesus instead of myself, which is a continual struggle, perfect peace is felt.

Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

We ESTABLISH the law.

Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Heb 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

Jesus perfectly obeded obeyed the law.
And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren,
ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth
should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them
witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; And put no difference between us
and them, purifying their hearts by faith. Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon
the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe
that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they. Acts 15:7-10

Hello Laffturr, Till we all come to the unity of faith.

Love, Walter
Purpose Of The Gifts

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

When we look at the Law through the eyes of our flesh, pride, human reasoning, carnal mind we get puffed up and think we are so wise and know so much but, we actually know NOTHING.

When we humble ourselves and look at the Law through God’s eyes of Love totally depending on God to give us understanding of His Law… now, we are truly wise and shall know the Truth and know God’s Heart and Mind concerning us.

I look at God’s Law and see God, His holiness, His great LOVE reaching for us, calling us into relationship with Him!

Our sin separating us from Him yet, His Love for us making a way for us to be with Him and just like Him…holy.

Thanks be to our Father God, our Savior, Lord and King Jesus Christ, and the precious Gift of God’s Holy Spirit!(y)

The law remains to condemn the unrighteous.

There is now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus :)
amen it’s meant to make them know thier sin and guilt before God it always was

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭

the law couldn’t do what Jesus and the gospel does

If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. For the law made nothing perfect,

but the bringing in of a better hope did; ( new testsment ) by the which we draw nigh unto God. By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

but this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭7:11-12, 18-19, 22, 24-28‬ ‭

Moses law was only a pattern of Jesus was on earth still he couldn’t even be the high priest because he wasn’t a sin of Levi. He’s the priest and mediator of a new testsment a new law a better covenant not Moses word Moses had the leviticle preists to preside over his word Jesus word he’s the presiding authority over it our high priest

“Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭8:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭8:4-

to seperate Moses law from that covenant isn’t possible it is their covenant law and amen it’s still there to lead people to the knowledge of sin , so they can find Jesus and the gospel and repent and come into his mercy and faith and have all their sins remitted

The shadows and types talked about in Heb 8. were given to help mankind understand what is happening in heaven.
The blood of animals cannot save anyone.
They were added because of sin until Christ came. Gal 3:19.

A better sacrifice, which is able to make us perfect was given in Christ.

Did the moral law disappear at the cross too?

Murder, adultery, stealing, lying, coverting, not honoring you parrents are pointed out as sin. Are they any less sin today as they were in King David's day or Moses' day or in Noah's day?

What about the first 4 commandments, about worshiping and honoring our Lord?
They still point out sin today.

True ..we are no longer under the ceremonial laws.
Christ is the better sacrifice and the better priest, etc.

There is still a sanctuary in Heaven.

Heb 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; 2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
Verse 5 ...pattern of heavenly things.

Jesus is ministering in the heavenly sanctuary.

What was faulty about the 10 commandments?

Verse 5 ...pattern of heavenly things.

Jesus is ministering in the heavenly sanctuary.

What was faulty about the 10 commandments?
the fault wasn’t with the law it was the people the law was given to that had the fault and flaws

“For finding fault with them, ( the people ) he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, When I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers In the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; Because they continued not in my covenant, And I regarded them not, saith the Lord.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭8:8-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the law is not for a born again person it’s for the sinner

“knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

You tell someone who is driven to steal “ you must not steal “ you tell someone driven to kill , “ you must not kill “ you tell an adulterer “ you must not commit adultery “ the reason you have to tell them is because they don’t know what they are doing is sinful so you then give them an explaination of what’s sinful sometimes can understand thier guilt

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the gospel is. NOt made for that purpose it’s made for this purpose now that the sinner knows they are a sinner and condemned to death

“and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:46-47‬ ‭KJV‬‬

now the sinner who knows I’m also a sinner and I’m also condemned by Gods law now thier getting a message of repentance and remission of those sins that have condemned them that the law made known tonthier conscience now your offering that person pardon from thier acknowledged guilt

the pet that makes us understand “this is sin “ is “ Thou shalt not do this , thou shalt not do that “ or you will surely be put to death “

the Old Testament is for sinners without any understanding of spiritual things without Christs companionship by his spirit in Christian’s because of this the doctrine is different

you don’t teach a new born child as if they are an inmate in a maximum security prison as if they have no hope and if they make mistakes their dead this isn’t the gospel it’s the law and it’s essential knowledge to bring a person to thier true need for Jesus and the gospel

the “ moral” law is not “ don’t kill anyone “ it’s treat others with love “

if you follow what Jesus taught how he taught us to treat one another you won’t kill anyone ever you won’t hate or have any notice to ever kill or commit violence against anyone . But being told don’t kill isn’t going to cause this to happen we have to accept the things Jesus said about morality and behavior towards others and then we aren’t going to be breaking laws like “ killing lying stealing commiting adultery ect

we don’t need the old if we understand we’ve sinned and need Jesus at that point we need to become disciples of Jesus and leave behind the law made for unrepentant sinners without Gods spirit , without any real atonement and under a fleshly sinful priesthood the laws can’t save

if I don’t kill and lie to people I’m still. Ot doing Gods Will , I’m just resisting satans Will

to know what God wants of me I have to stop looking at what “I must not do “ and start coming into Christ and his teachings and doctrine

once I’m there I’m. It going to be killing lying stealing cheating so no one then needs to teach me not to kill lie and cheat I already died to those things in Christ it’s now irrelevant because my eyes are on Jesus d I understand he’s my lord and his word is life

Moses was never sent for the purpose Jesus came for the law is like a prerequisite of the gospel once your in the gospel the prerequisite is left behind you because it actually provokes sinners to sin

“For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:5-6‬ ‭

Trying to seperate any of Moses words from any of his others words isn’t proper the law saying “ Thou shalt not “ is what gives the knowledge of sin not the ordinances or anything it’s the actual commandments that exclaim “ Thou shalt not “

the whole law works together to. BRing us to the understanding of sin and death

it works like this the commandment

Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The consequences of breaking it

“And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭20:10‬

“thou shalt not sin , you will surely be put to death “

That’s what you tell sinners to teach them a lesson about sin and it’s consequences. It’s useful and helpful always but we have no part in keeping Moses words we follow Christ and learn from him the gospel is what we need to believe if we are learning from Jesus about salvstion and eternal
Life repentance and upright living treating others as Jesus commanded us to treat others

We aren’t going to be commiting sin against each other which is what the law says not to do so following Jesus is how one keeps the law of we follow Jesus we’re not going to be murdering , cheating and lying and swindling if we’re still doing those things then we still are under the law and need to repent and believe the gospel

The Sabbath was given to man as a gift. Man is Lord over the Sabbath, and it is good always to do good on the Sabbath.

Something that may confuse some readers is the use of the word corn. Originally the word, corn, was a reference to a kernal of grain, ergo the field was wheat in this instance.

Now I donot know if you were asking me to read the fullchapter or not, but I did rad this in Luke earlier today, and in Mark Yesterday. Actually when I say "read" it means I heard it from the videos I watch of theGospel. I pray all needed bessings for all.

*Colossians 2:16 - Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.
The old covenant is truth, given by the Lord, it was not changed when we were given the new improved covenant. Matt. 5: 17 Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.

In the OT, the law was explained to man through symbols. Perfect animals was used as a symbol of Christ, clean food was used as a symbol of what is spiritual pure and clean, cutting flesh was used as a symbol of belonging to Christ. The new covenant does not change the law, it changes the way the law is delivered to us-----from the material to the spiritual. The substance belongs to Christ,

Christ is the truth. God does not change, God is the same forever.
