Your afraid that if I came to your town and preached the gospel that I just might be received because the common people heard Him gladly. Your afraid that I just might be able to identify with the down and outers and the weak and the prostitutes and the homeless and the drunkards and those that are hurting and that they might be gloriously saved by the grace of God and that kind of fruit might be bursting out ever where in all places and remain. Your afraid that God might demonstrate the power of His salvation in the heart of those that do not deserve it but hear the gospel and receive it and glorify God. Your afraid that Jesus Christ might just show Himself as Almighty God and supernaturally reveal His great love and mercy to hundreds and thousands of common people and those who have been brought low through the circumstances of life. Your afraid that if I showed up that God might show up with me, after all He did say that He would go with us to the uttermost parts of the earth and the ends of the world (Acts 1:8, Mk 16:15, Mt 28:20).

If you wish to come to my town please tell me. I will by private message give you my town and address and put you up free of charge in my home for the duration of your time in the town I live in. This I promise you publically here and now

Which kinda invalidates your post doesn't it

I think my whole point in response was that salvation is an individual revelation by the Spirit rather than education of men.

I believed the Father was God and THOUGHT and SAID I understood Jesus and the HS were God. I didn't truly know that Jesus was God.

I was given every possible Trinitatian explanation imaginable, and it wasn't salvific. I was indoctrinated.

That's how I became a Dispensationalist, too, so I'd think you might understand. :-)

ehehehe. i do.
but it doesn't mean the revelation of God in His Son Jesus Christ is not the revelation of the Triune GodHead.

it just means you wuz hangin' out wit' the SBC (?)

God reveals it to Peter to say YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD. why should we oppose that by saying he is God; JESUS IS GOD; GOD DIED FOR US??? this is degrading God.

i have no idea WHO's righteousness you plan to be robed in.
perhaps Michael's?

good luck. anyways.....you have 1,000 years to get it right under Mosiac Law after you die, don't you?

Why, if I prayed and God said go, should I take you up on your offer? Would you be good for it? I would pay my own way but you would put me up and others that might come with me. We can have church right in your own home, but if God called me to go, I do the preaching. It has to be the will of God and if you are giving an invitation because you want to see God do great things in your midst, then that is a good start. If you have the Spirit and you are after the will of God, you pray, and let's see what God tells you and I will do the same. I am willing are you?

The invite is for you. I do not have room in my home to put up more than one person. But if you wish to bring others and they find there own board and lodging, that would be fine.

As you believe I have the spirit of antichrist in me there to your mind would be no point in me praying, but yes, I have made a promise, I keep my promises, you do the preaching, absolutely

Let's put this cat out on the table. I have never said that you or anyone else is possessed by the spirit of antichrist. I did say and do say that if anyone denies that God was manifest in the flesh through the person of Jesus Christ, that is the spirit of antichrist. It is a heart issue that involves unbelief. I am not going to judge whether you are saved or not, no more then I would judge the 'straw man of (10) yrs'. That is not for me or any to judge, but only God, especially when you read scriptures like (Luke 15) and those that testify that Christ did not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance (Mt 9:13) and that harlots and those publicans (that like to steal from others) would get into the kingdom before those chief priests, and scribes and elders of the people that depended upon their own righteousness as they condemned others (Mt 21:15-31).

Well I am heartened by this post. It is not for us to judge the salvation of anyone on this website, especially someone who believes the Biblical requirement for salvation.
Though Biblically speaking you are wrong in the example so often given to you
I have never told anyone who professes Christianity that they are not saved incidentally.

Tell us of the group you are referring to and tell us that your statement doesn't apply to you and every poster on this site. I do not care to answer any of his incessant questions of unbelief that he brings to the table just to be contrary to the doctrine of Christ and other matters concerning the things of God. I will not give a person God's speed who outwardly denies that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh. Maybe you will coddle him in his unbelief but I have conviction from the scriptures not to. What do you think of that?

If a brother errs in scripture, dont kick him, but correct him with scripture.
Thats the christian way.

yes and if the brother refuses to listen to the words of many who tell them that GOD DIED FOR OUR SINS is what the whole Bible is about and is the message of grace, what does the Bible say to do to the person then?

Jesus is GOD. I'll find the scriptures later, but they have already been posted to you!

Can you than explain what Jesus is talking about in that verse, i have posted?luke10:22
Cant anyone post scripture any more without being seen as an heretic?

didn't say you were a heretic, said you weren't listening to the answers given in the 10 previous threads you have on the subject. totally different.

your salvation is between you and God and I just suggested that since you don't like our answers ask God yourself and tell us what He says.

In bringing many sons to glory it is fitting that God for whom and through all things exist should MAKE THE AUTHOR OF THEIR SALVATION PERFECT THROUGH SUFFERING
Heb 2:10

So God Himself had to be made perfect through suffering

Although he was a son HE LEARNED OEDIANCE from what he suffered and once MADE PERFECT he bewcame the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him

So God Himself had to learn obediance

Heb 5:9

But the oath which came aftyer the law, appointed the son who has BEEN MADE PERFECT FOREVER
Heb 7:28

So God Himself was MADE perfect forever

But that is just taking verses out of context isn't.

Praise be to THE GOD AND FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ
Eph 1:3

So God himself has a God that is 'his God'
And God Himself constantly refers to someone as 'My God'

But I know, that is just taking verses out of context again

Then the Lord said to Moses
Leave this place, you and the people you brought up out of Egypt, and go to the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, saying, I will give it to your descendants
I will SEND AN ANGEL BEFORE YOU and drive out the Cananites, Amorites, Hittites, Perrizites, Hivites and Jebusites
Go up to the land flowing with milk and Honey. BUT I WILL NOT GO WITH YOU, BECAUSE YOU ARE A STIFF NECKED PEOPLE and I might destroy you on the way
Ex 33:1-3

So, God himself did not travel in the wilderness with the Israelites and bring them to the promised land.

But I am told that it indeed was God Himself who trave, lled with the Israelites in the dessert and supposedly given scripture to back this up, and that the angel was God Himself

So who accompanied the Israelites in the deessert?

The all ate the same spiritual food, and drank from the same spiritual rock that accompanied them, AND THAT ROCK WAS CHRIST
1 Cor 10:4

But God said he did not go with them, but I know, I am just taking verses out of context and not understanding from the context of the whole chapter.

The theme of the Bible is that the Father is greater than all and the one true God. But it is people who do not believe this that grab verses and take them out of context to fit what man has taught them

So God Himself is an angel? Would the JWS go that far?

i know that you are taking the scriptures out of context , some will embrace that.
But I will get my head spinning.

Your questions have been answered many times, and yet you persist in ignoring the answers, and continuing to ask the same questions over and over. Why do you insist that our God, and His word is confusion? Is this preferable to the credible explanations that have been offered to explain the quoted scriptures within the context of the entire written word?

Our God is not a God of confusion, but a God of order.

Galatians 1: 6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who calledhttp://christianchat.com/#cr-descriptionAnchor-13 you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospelhttp://christianchat.com/#cr-descriptionAnchor-14-- 7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusionhttp://christianchat.com/#cr-descriptionAnchor-15 and are trying to perverthttp://christianchat.com/#cr-descriptionAnchor-16 the gospel of Christ.

To be honest, I would be astonished to find a person who has spent considerable time studying the bible in fellowship with Holy Spirit, who would even suggest that Jesus had been created.

I have asked you what your purpose is, and you have not answered. Are you trying to sow disunity and disorder among Christians? Are you bored and just enjoy being argumentative? Are you just looking for attention? Are you really that lacking in the knowledge of the word of God? What is the answer?

I've been wondering and praying about the same thing.

I am sorry Ananda but you cannot say that the whole Bible is about GOD DYING FOR OUR SINS

The Gospel message is that Christ the son of God died for our sins

Please give me a verse of scripture that states

God died for our sins

I do not mean tro be contentious here, but you cannot rebuke anyone if they believe the son of God died for our sins, that is going too far

The life I live now I live by faith in the son of God who loved me and gave himself for me

Gal 2:20

If that is what Paul proclaimed so can and should we

BABYLON THE GREAT DOES NOT BELIEVE JESUS IS GOD.

every false prophet/cultist in the world who is against Christ's Church uses this verse against her (just as they use ALL the curses against the apostate members of Israel who refused(s) the Christ against those who DO receive Him (jew and gentile)...the pattern is SO OBVIOUS).

too bad they can't "hear" the Voice of The Good Shepherd.

too bad they don't know who BABYLON THE GREAT HARLOT is even after they have been shown over and over (actually, THEY DO).

makes one wonder WHO they are shilling FOR.

Revelation 17:5
And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Matthew 12:27
And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.

The Talmud (Babylonian edition) records other sins of "Jesus the Nazarene":
  1. He and his disciples practiced sorcery and black magic, led Jews astray into idolatry, and were sponsored by foreign, gentile powers for the purpose of subverting Jewish worship (Sanhedrin 43a).
  2. He was sexually immoral, worshipped statues of stone (a brick is mentioned), was cut off from the Jewish people for his wickedness, and refused to repent (Sanhedrin 107b; Sotah 47a).
  3. He learned witchcraft in Egypt and, to perform miracles, used procedures that involved cutting his flesh—which is also explicitly banned in the Bible (Shabbos 104b).

I know you're mad and annoyed with me, but could you please cite your source for this information?

Son of man is a human but the Son of God is the Lord. Jesus is both human and Lord (God). Jesus is both Son of man and Son of God.

John 3
You Must Be Born Again
1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesusa by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” 3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born againb he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.c 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘Youd must be born again.8 The winde blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

John 1
9 The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own,b and his own peoplec did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 (John bore witness about him, and cried out, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me ranks before me, because he was before me.’”) 16 And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God; the only God,d who is at the Father’s side,e he has made him known.

Acts 2:38
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 1
20 For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory. 21 And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, 22 and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.e

OK that explains it: Wakeup has not been born again in both of water and Spirit. I've wasted enough time on it. Blessings to my brethren but I'm going to listen to the advice of the BIBLE and do as it says.

Luke 17

Jesus Warns of Offenses

1 Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! 2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. 3 Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you,[a] rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4 And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

Matthew 18

Dealing with a Sinning Brother

15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ 17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collecto

anathematizing heretics?
telling people they're not saved?
tsk tsk.

And according to you, this belief needed is that Christ is not God ? He was perfect, sinless and without blame .....but was just a man chosen by God to be His Son and our Redeemer.....but is not God ? He and the Father are one ....but Christ is still not God ? If they are one, as Jesus said they are, does this mean that God is not God as well ? Is the Father "offended" when Jesus Christ is called God ?

You are in Christ and Christ in You: Does it make you Christ??? Are you Jesus, because Jesus is in You?
