I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God,
And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

I am the Son of God!!!
In Jesus name

The authority of the Father is in Christ. He the Father and the Spirit are parts of the whole.

GOD IS SITTING ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF GOD,
IF JESUS IS GOD ??????

In order to reach and make humans understand God, even in heaven Jesus is seen in human form. We are told we are His co-heir of the Father's inheritance. Even now He speaks, walks, cries for sinners like man, yet He is God.

RIGHTLY dividing the word of God

STOP being legalistic... its not WHICH BIBLE you read.. ITS WHY YOU READ IT.

THIS IS ALL THAT MATTERS - PEOPLE need to stop studying the bible and begin seeking heaven and HIS righteousness and ask for the Living Water to burst forth from within. PEOPLE treat the New Testament as the Tree of knowledge instead of the Tree of eternal LIFE seeking to be ONE WITH GOD NOW AND JESUS TOO!

God bless you all and DO this ... DO it to the tee sisters and brothers.

God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth is the God of us and the God of Jesus himself, (( But said Christ: "O children of Israel! worship God, my Lord, and your Lord.")) Qur'an5:72, ((And when Isa (Jesus) came with Clear Signs, he said: "I have come to you with Wisdom, and to expound Unto you some of that wherein ye differ, So keep your duty to God and obey me,Verily, God! He is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him.This is the Straight Path.")) Qur'an 43:63,64

Jesus (peace be upon him) can not do anything whithout his lord, every miracles he did was by God's leave , not by his own ability, (( And will make him (Jesus) a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): "I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, a figure like that of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by God's Leave; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by God's Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe.)) Qur'an 3:49

We should worship the One true God, the lord who Created the heavens and the earth and us and created Jesus too, ((O mankind! worship your Lord, Who hath created you and those before you.)) Qur'an 2:21, we should worship the God who Jesus (peace be upon him) himself was worshiping him, ((He is God the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute, He begetteth not, nor is He begotten, And there is none like unto Him.)) Qur'an, Chapter 112

((And when the angels said: O Mary! Lo! God hath chosen thee and made thee pure, and hath preferred thee above (all) the women of creation. O Mary! Be obedient to thy Lord, prostrate thyself and bow with those who bow (in worship)....(And remember) when the angels said: O Mary! Lo! God giveth thee glad tidings of a word from him, whose name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, illustrious in the world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near (unto God ). She said: My Lord! How can I have a child when no mortal hath touched me? He said: So (it will be). God createth what He will. If He decreeth a thing, He saith unto it only: Be! and it is.)) Qur'an 3:42,43,45,46,47

((Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how god doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!)) Qur'an 5:75,((And say, "Praise is for that God who has begotten no son nor has any partner in His Kingdom nor is helpless to need any supporter,"And glorify Him in the most glorious way.)) Qur'an 17:111

SO YOU BELIEVE THAT GOD HAD CREATED A SON THROUGH MARY, BUT AT THE SAME TIME YOU SAY THAT HE IS JUST ANOTHER PROPHET??
YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS BUT DONT BELIEVE HIS TEACHINGS???
JESUS SAID - I AM THE WAY- NO ONE CAN COME TO THE FATHER BUT BY ME.
IF YOU BELIEVE IN JESUS YOU MUST BELIEVE WHAT HE SAYS.
YOU BELIEVE OR YOU DONT.YOU CAN ONLY COME TO GOD TRUOGH THE WORD OF GOD . AND JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD.

WAKEUP.

so when for instance The Ten Commandments say "you shall not steal" or "you shall not lie" etc. it means that God will not tolerate stealing or lying. God will not simply ignore that people break his Holy commandments. No!
in the New Covenant Jesus asks us only to believe in him and confess him as Lord. When we do that, we will be forgiven of our sins and hence saved.
After that salvation, after sacrificing his son or himself on the cross, if you as a Christian stealed ((or)) lied, will you be punished in the Day of Judgment ((or)) not. If you wants to commit usurpation, will you be afraied of Punishment in the hereafter ((or)) not, if the answer is yes, if there a punishment on you because of these bad deeds and sins, that mean that there is no Salvation, if not....

Hi Worship. I am not sure if I understand your English and sentence structure perfectly, but I will give it a try anyway.

A Christian who sins and does not repent from his sins (and confess them to God to receive forgiveness in the name of Jesus) risks getting condemned on Judgment Day (and lose his salvation). But as long as a Christian believes in and lives close to Jesus, so that he gains forgiveness for his sins, then he will be saved. No one will be successful in living perfectly (100 % pure) even after coming to faith in Jesus. One must contiuously seek God to be kept spiritually alive. As such, being saved also brings a new element to one's attention (in addition to forgiveness from sin), life in and with God through Jesus Christ. Family life with God as Father is the life and heaven which are prepared for those who are saved (Romans 8:14-9,29).

I would say that a Christian who wants to sin should be in fear of punishment on Judgment Day. Still, the New Testament is quite clear that it is very difficult for us - as human beings and even Christians - to avoid sinning completely. Regarding this issue the terms "to fall in sin" and "to live in sin" are important to consider. Falling in sin refers to isolated incidents of sin which a Christian commits after coming to faith in Jesus. It is sin, and in the eyes of God it must be repented from, but the way to forgiveness is to confess the sin in front of God, and then God will forgive because of Jesus Christ (1 Letter of John 1:8-9). Living in sin refers to sinning continuously without repenting, even coming to a point where you are not interested in confessing your sins.

When one, as a Christian, falls in sin, the Spirit of God will speak to your heart and urge you to repent. This is exemplified in 1 Letter of John 3:9: "No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God." The seed of God lives in you and it will react to sin by urging you to repent and confess.

But of course, it is important to note that it is not a good thing even to "fall" in sin (even less to "live" in sin), and part of the new life as a Christian concerns letting the Spirit of God enter you and transform you, so that the idea of sinning will gradually disappear from your mind - since the Spirit of the Holy God consumes your mind and shapes you more and more into attaining the holiness which God wants for us (Ephesians 4:12-5). The promise of forgivness from sins in the name of Jesus Christ is not an excuse and opportunity to sin, but rather a way to God so that your nature may be transformed so that your sinning mind is diminished and eventually gone (Romans 6:1-7).

So to answer your questions briefly, a Christian should not be in fear of Judgment Day even if he sins after he came to faith in Jesus - as long as he does not block the cry of the Holy Spirit about repenting and confessing the sin. If a Christians goes on sinning and does not listen to the Holy Spirit and does not ask for forgiveness, then that Christian risks losing his salvation, and will be condemned on Judgment Day. A Christian with lots of theological knowledge, who has understood a lot about Jesus Christ and the salvation in Christ, but who does not repent and confess his sins, will not be saved.

hi everyone interested in this mystery. most believe that jesus is god.
well if thats your believe , that only create a lot of questions :

1. on the cross why did he cry . my god my god ?
2. why did he say , into your hand i commit my apirit ?
3. why did he say , my father is greater than i
4. why did he say i my self can not do anything ?
5. in revelation ch. 3:12 why did he call his father my god and your god ?
6. now in heaven why is he sitting next to god ?

all these questions needs to be answered with total honesty you can not just accept any ones opinion without looking in to it very seriously because it is most important to know who you are realy worshiping this is called . knowing your lord spending time to seek him. because you dont him on the mountain or behind that hill or in this church or that church (need to read john4:21-----24)

so, who is jesus realy. you start with reading john 1:1 : in the beginning was the Word and the word was with GOD and the WORD was GOD : it simply is saying that GODS WORD is inside him just like our word is inside us. we also can achieve things just by speaking. because we are created in the image of GOD :
now the WORD became flesh, how did he do this? well he simply commanded the womb of mary to conceive
mary got pregnant , and a man child was born: and the WORD became flesh. and he dwellt among us(men ) inside the flesh dwells GOD. he is the temple of GOD, when he open his mouth god is speaking.
.

This is all true... BUT... it is only a small portion of the real truth. Trinity is error, especially Filioque. All the God-models are insufficient and incomplete. But this is barely even touching the depth of truth that it implies.

God, His OWN Word, and His OWN Spirit (of Truth) is closer to truth than orthodoxy OR non-orthodoxy belief, but is also not fully expressive of the truth. Still insufficient and incomplete. Launch out into the deep. A huge key is in John 15:26 with proceedeth (exporeuomai).

You're 10% of the way there; now just come the other 90%.

Jesus Christ died and paid for the sins of the world...
to pay for the sins of all human beings who sin against God...
to pay for our sins
Vs........

A Christian who sins and does not repent from his sins (and confess them to God to receive forgiveness in the name of Jesus) risks getting condemned on Judgment Day (and lose his salvation)...
who does not repent and confess his sins, will not be saved.

The expression "only begotten" is an interesting phrase, especially as it applies to Jesus.
The meaning of only begotten. "Only begotten" is from the Greek monogenes. This word is used nine times in the Greek New Testament. The word is a compound word, mono, meaning only, and gennesis, meaning birth. "Only begotten" (monogenes) is used five times by John, three by Luke, and once by the writer of Hebrews. Luke used the word to describe the widow's son, "only son of his mother" (Lk. 7: 12, see 8: 42, 9: 38). The writer of Hebrews said Abraham "offered up his only begotten son" (Heb. 11: 17).
Only begotten as applied to Jesus. The scriptures teach that God's people are "sons of God" (Rom. 8: 14). Modernists contend that Jesus was simply another son of God. Not so! Jesus' Sonship was understood as indicative of deity (Jn. 10: 36, 38). Monogenes is used of Jesus' Sonship. Jesus is the "only begotten Son" (I Jn. 4: 9). "Single of its kind," comments Thayer, "…used of Christ, denotes the only Son of God or who in the sense in which he himself is the Son of God has no brethren…he is of nature or essentially Son of God, and so in a very different sense from that in which men are made by him children of God" (Thayer's Greek-English Lexicon, pgs. 417, 418). Beloved, God's people are adopted "sons of God," Jesus is the only Son of God by nature (cp. Rom. 8: 14-16).
As God's monogenes Jesus enjoyed unique glory (Jn. 1: 14). The only begotten declared God (Jn. 1: 18). Jesus being of the same essential nature as the Father could reveal God as no other could (Jn. 14: 8-11). The only begotten is the ultimate expression of God's love (Jn. 3: 16, I Jn. 4: 9). Moreover, we must believe in the only begotten Son of God (Jn. 3: 18, 16).
Hence, Jesus is uniquely and singularly the Son of God - the only one of his kind. To realize the only begotten Son of God gave his life for you and me is indeed most humbling.

The Only Begotten

Hi. I see that you have problems understanding what I am trying to explain to you. I will therefore show you why the two quotations (1&2) you have copied above are in harmony:

I wrote 1:
"
Jesus Christ died and paid for the sins of the world...
to pay for the sins of all human beings who sin against God...
to pay for our sins"

I wrote 2:
"
A Christian who sins and does not repent from his sins (and confess them to God to receive forgiveness in the name of Jesus) risks getting condemned on Judgment Day (and lose his salvation)...
who does not repent and confess his sins, will not be saved"

Both of these statements are true. Jesus Christ died and paid for the sins of the world (all human beings who sin against God). But in order to receive the gift of salvation you have to believe in Jesus Christ and repent from your sins. If you reject Jesus Christ you also reject what he has done, and his payment for your sins will not be accounted to you. Sadly, there are many people who do not receive the gift of salvation, because they say "no thanks" to the one who is offering it, Jesus Christ.

That is why it is written in John 16:7-9: "
7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment: 9 about sin, because people do not believe in me" As you can see, the decisive point is whether or not one believes in Jesus Christ. Since all sins are washed away if you believe in Christ, then the only sin which will lead to your judgment is that you do not believe in Christ (also John 3:36, 1 Letter of John 2:21-3).

Hi again Worship, I see that you are looking for inconsistencies in what I have written. I believe that the problem is that I take much for granted when I write, I forget that you do not know much about these issues, and that you are not used to the Christian terminology. In my head, the statements you refer to are in perfect harmony with each others, but I see that you are in need of more precise use of words.

I wrote 1: "
In the New Covenant Jesus asks us only to believe in him and confess him as Lord."

I wrote 2: "
But in order to receive the gift of salvation you have to believe in Jesus Christand repent from your sins."

When I say "believing in Jesus and confess him as Lord" it includes "repent from your sins". The reason is that if you want to confess Jesus as Lord then you must believe in and follow what he says. In order to get into a relationship with Jesus the Holy Spirit must convince you that you are a sinner who needs Jesus (as noted in the previous comment John 16:7-9), and when you confess your sins (as a result of the Spirit's work in your heart) you will enter into a relationship with Jesus Christ which leads to your salvation. Once in that relationship he is your Lord, and you must confess him to be that (your Lord). Romans 10:9-10. Hebrewes 9:12.

I have great sympathy for you, because we Christians often forget that our terms and things we take for granted (as I did above), may be confusing for non-believers. I would be equally confused if someone used many unfamiliar terms when trying to explain something to me.

The peace of God to you Worship.

I think the more important question is, does god have a really long beard??
