Is there a chat site that isn't reformed like this one is?

I'm reminded of the fact that Paul and Silas went together and spread the gospel, while John Mark and Barnabas went together in a different direction to spread the same gospel. Both teams were able to reach a larger number of people by going 2 by 2 as opposed to all four together.

Well I agree with you sister. I don't think 1 Corinthians 13 is even in many people's Bible, from all sides.

Must be the least talked about chapter in Christian circles.

I know bullying when I see it and I have seen ppl musquoted, thier words taken out of context, seen them stalked from thread To thread even seen some driven away. It's sad and....

To tell someone they cannot choose to accept Jesus to me is truly an ABOMINATION.

so, I go away quietly lest I become what I oppose....

Hello 7seas....

No one has to straighten anyone out. Truth will do that...if it is not censored. They literally censored the posts...how pathetic is that.
7 seas.... we can interact and challenge each other. If we are sincere...Iron Sharpens iron...we can seek truth where ever it is found. No one wants to hold error! So...the key is be sincere and express your understanding uncensored....
I am not speaking of a person who uses profane speech, or threats....but you should be free to offer where you agree, or where you disagree and put it out publically.
many times two or more posters...lock horns, and their views do not change. However, those who are reading can begin to see and learn by hearing the different views biblically expressed...{ or sometimes a lack of biblical presentation].I t can cause some growth if used properly....Do you agree?

I don't think CC is a ""reformed calvinist"" website.. To me it is a site that has a percentage of it's members who are calvinists.. Yes some of them are very blunt and seem not to be suited for taking part in a forum.. But hey no one is perfect but Our LORD..

I am not a calvinist but i am not shaken in my soul by one or two blunt calvinists.. If you are a peace and confident in the Word of God it does not matter who challenges you with their doctrines.. The Holy Spirit will keep you in Peace in a world without peace :)

I have been to a fair share of chat and forum sites in my time.. I find that sites that are run by more conservative religious people are often more accepting of the primacy of Free Speech and are more tolerant of other viewpoints being expressed, They do however enthusiastically counter the view points they disagree with.. On more supposed liberal Politically correct forums and chat rooms i have visited the moderators are often far less tolerant of freedom of Speech and seek to shut down anything that goes against their POV, Most of the forums i have been booted from have been liberal run..

The last forum i was kicked out of was for posting that i did not believe the catholic church was Christian.. That was deemed hate speech :rolleyes: In this forum however i can declare my belief that catholicism is not Christian and remain without persecution from moderators..

That site had an admin openly insult me and when I called him for it, he banned me. Said I need to respect the admins. Yes. Insult me openly and you earn my respect.

Then there were 5 or 6, maybe more, that continually piled on me. Did the admins step in to stop this mob-like approach? No. So, that site continually bans Calvinists.

I don't know what site you refer to, but I can think of one that had pretty dishonest mods...I was never banned, actually still have a membership there but do not bother. at least one mod lied about something and another bullied me and had me apologize for something I did not do that the mod who lied was responsible for

this was years back and I apologized cause I did not want to be banned

maybe we are thinking of the same site? LOL!

hey david… i totally understand what you mean :( its so sad that certain people attack other believers in such a way. im tired ofseeing it myself. so, what i would say is… try stay on the bright side. there's always some light to shine around here.

This is like mosquitoes complaining because people dare slap them. How DARE they slap the precious ones?

So what do they do, keep biting and sucking out more blood while injecting more venom.

Honestly, the ones who keep saying "Calvinist bullies" are the mosquitoes insisting they have every right to bite and spread venom, and no one should say or do anything with them.

Clue: All you've done since you've been here is bite and spread venom, and not just Calvinists. Everyone who dares disagree with "the precious one."

Icon gave you an honest answer, and you took it as venom. Nope. That's your venom lashing out, yet again.

Please, find a site full of precious ones. It would be peaceful to the rest of us -- all of us -- Cals and nonCals alike. The vile is nasty and constant with you.

However new studies have shown that bullies actually are too over empowered and have a very high sense of self above others and therefore feel they can bully others because they are better than others.

Since you like reading research on Psychology, do some research on mobbing syndrome. You play the part of ringleader well, always getting others to do your work, and then pretending "I did no such thing, but you...?" to your targets.

Gracie, I am happy to tell you that you do not understand what she means. You aren't her and exhibit no signs of being her. You are exactly who you appear to be, which is a good thing.

She, on the other hand, is playing the victim when she has been the bully all along. Checl out her posts. In each of her post, she does one of three things:
- Demands others believe exactly how she believes.
- Plays the victim when they don't.
- Encourages others like her to do what she does.

That's many things, but it isn't Christian. It isn't good. It's not something to encourage.
