I would imagine that the early stages of a relationship are like taking a deep dive. I prefer a mask and a snorkel in the kiddie pool.I am sure that you are making the correct choice as led by God. I like that part of your post about the edge of the diving board. I am always looking for new material to spice up my posts a bit. I will see how I can fit that in somewhere.![]()
Yes , I can c why u might think that but , I've found the opposite . If we r going to liken people to swimming pools , u certainly start off in the shallow end , just getting to know each other . Then as time progresseses and u both realise u would like to get to know each other better , u wade out a bit further until , eventually , u can't touch the bottom ! U have commited yourself to going all the way and u r really learning about what makes each other tick , as individuals and as a couple . It can b a dangerous time if u have picked the wrong person ! Sink or swim ! But , if God is with u and u were meant to b then , u end up being each others life jackets , helping to keep each other afloat in this stormy lifeI would imagine that the early stages of a relationship are like taking a deep dive. Anything to kill the tasteLike maybe a hot rum toddy?

Perhaps you avoided a close call, and this was actually a blessing in disguise. It makes sense to me.I came extremely close to doing that last October. I postponed my dive at the last second, and I never took it, even though I had fully planned to at a later date. I'm sure that doesn't make sense, but something really weird happened to prevent it.
I prefer Perrier but that's just me.Anything to kill the taste

I think that you dodged a bullet. However, if an opportunity should happen to arise with another woman don't hesitate to at least exchange phone numbers. Don't wait for her to call you either, take the initiative and call her first. This would leave a good impression.
Did I blow it? Was this a missed opportunity? What do you think?
Solely because of the lesbian part or for some other reason as well?I think that you dodged a bullet.
Good advice there. Just to clarify, I would not normally hesitate to call a woman if she gave me her phone number. In the instance that I described, I would have obtained it from somebody else, and I didn't feel right about that. However, if an opportunity should happen to arise with another woman don't hesitate to at least exchange phone numbers.
