It seems anyone may call himself Christian and others will hear him seriously.

The politician accused of having molested a 14 year-old girl, that would be pederasty in most places, has been defended with the argument that Mary became pregnant at a very young age.

This perverse thinking and reasoning can only be attributed to Satan, Himself.

I am not a RCC but I revere Mary as having given birth to our Savior as a virgin who conceived of the Holy Spirit. I believe she is the very most blessed among women.

I cannot begin to imagine what was going through the very perverted mind that thought up this defense. God have mercy on him and upon all who listen to such dribble.
 
Pedophiles will say anything to pass themselves off as being upstanding, moralistic and religious people.. :(

I was thinking of this Mary issue,, And i would like to ask, can anyone produce a Bible quote establishing the Age of Mary at the time she had Jesus ????
 
No. My post is not saying I have any idea of how old she was at the birth of our Lord, just the horror of someone thinking Christians would allow such thinking within the faith given us by the Father.....God bless you. I figure you were not thinking I was saying I know her age at His birth,but I thought I would let all know.

No. All the scripture indicates is that she was a young woman, and a virgin. Many scholars think she could have been as young as 15 or so.
 
Using Mary as an example is pretty odd, since she was a virgin when she gave birth to Christ.

I do often get that in defense of child marriage too, though. They often tell me that like Mary was a child and Joseph was like in his 50s. I dont know how accurate that is, though. Ive certainly never read it anywhere at all. I usually assume its one of those things that people just repeat among each other as if its true. You know, like the whole "all the worlds wars have been caused by religion" thing. Its not at all true, but people accept as such anyway.

I never said you post was saying this or saying that.. I asked a simple question to see if anyone could bring scriptural support to the tradition that Mary was very young when she had Jesus.. Why can't people simply respond to what i write insted of injecting all kinds of words and meaning and other delusions into my posts that simply are not in them..

"""No""" :) Good an answer.. Scripture did establish she was a virgin thats truth.. But as for her age thats just traditions and i do not place any faith in the traditions of men..
