Why you ain’t trying Deep Pit Barbecue? Ain’t never tasted nothin better...just too bad you need somebody SKILLED to make it. I for sure can’t lol.
I have to confess, I've never really been a fan of BBQ. And ironically, most of my friends here on CC are from the South.

Seriously.

If I ever tried to start a thread about BBQ, it would only take a hot half a second before my Southern friends would tie me to midst of the BBQ pit and fire it right up.

Now THIS is a combination... that should never be allowed to see the light of day.

Lol.

So much profanity in this thread! :p
What if I told you that was really just a fried chicken breast with ketchup on it...

That is somehow even worse. Chicken is good. That chicken looks crusty and old.

Fresh fruit with yogurt and nuts is pretty good, I think. Nice on a day so hot that you don't want to cook anything. Watermelon salad is very refreshing in the sweltering months of late summer.

I also like dipping eggs with toast. Love toast. Used to hate it as a kid, but now I'd eat it with anything.

Re: Oatmeal

Preferred toppings:

  • Bananas
  • Walnuts
  • Raw honey
  • Pecans
  • Maple syrup
Maybe I prefer toast. Maybe toast is my favorite breakfast food of all time. Preferably with coconut oil or fruit preserves, only. Not a butter fan. Margarine is just OK.

I prefer un-ironed waffles... because if you iron waffles, they turn into pancakes. Plus, ironing is like work, and ain't nobody got time for work before breakfast.

I tend to prefer French toast over both waffles and pancakes, and real butter with real maple syrup over any of them. ;)

I'll have bacon please. And instead of waffles or pancakes, I want a sausage biscuit with eggs and cheese in it. Hash on the side. Glass of oj. Yum!
