Just got dumped

Also, I'm a crier so crying it out helped me....a hot cup of coffee and a good movie too. I pray you have peace. :)

Yes...rejection is so hard. And when people say "well Jesus was rejected"....it doesn't help. I think in these kinds of circumstance we want to let what happened define us....that we are unworthy etc. I think it is important to acknowledge those feeling of not good enough or whatever because they are real feelings and as such deserve to be acknowledged. But we must speak truth to them when they are present. You are worthy and loved and safe etc.

That speaks exactly to what I went through. I felt like something must be wrong with me. I wasn't good enough, pretty enough, smart enough, kind enough...and I could go on and on. I had to choose to see myself through the Father's eyes. I fail sometimes...it's easy to fall back into old habits.

The person who dumped you was not good for you and just like LiJo said, that's was God's way of protecting you. It's okay to cry and shed tears because you've been hurt. You can also talk to a friend about the break up when you are ready to talk about it. When you take the time to recover, there are some things you can do. The first thing that you can do to cheer is to have a girls' night out with your friends where you can go have a nice dinner or go to Dave and Buster's, etc. The second thing you can do to cheer up would be to go on a shopping spree or have a spa day where it's just you and one of your friends. There are tons of things to do to cheer yourself up dear.

Take time to reflect. Don't obsess over why things did not work out. You really don't need someone to complete your life. A man or woman is no silver bullet to any ones problems or a solution to make your life better. Take time to self improve. What would you like that the other person could not accept about you? Do not be hard on yourself and yes love yourself. Do things that you gave up for the relationship that you enjoy. Hang with friends. Get involved in the church more. The goal is to self repair at this moment and self improve. Is your relationship with the Lord lacking? Start tacking!

Bad idea if you're of full or partial Jewish extraction. That movie makes me want to arm myself and find a good hiding place.
 
Hey OP! Sirk is a great guy, around your age, and single from what I can tell.

That's my advice.
 
He isnt the best for you. Better know now than later.
If someone really loves you, he wonts hurt the one's he love.

What ever happens happens, I just got dumped to but you know what I did, I prayed that she finds happiness and everthing that I cudnt give, Also prayed my future wife quickly comes my way lol jokes but don't be bitter or spiteful, ul look back one day, appreciate all the lessons learnt and do not let it hinder ur own happiness, if that person cudnt see ur awesomeness, someone out there will......God bless u
 
Time will heal.
Keep faith to GOD coz GOD never dump us and loves us forever.
If he/she leaves it means she/he isnt the right person to you.
Its not easy at first but by the time and possitive mindset you can overcome all the sadness, angriness and negative feelings.
By the time the pain will recovery.

And try to eat sweets.
It help :)
A Bar of chocolate and box of ice cream will make you feel better.
