Hi all,


Im saved 4 years and a bit. I think im getting fed up of being on my own. Im think I need to find my help meet :)
Or that the Lord needs to provide. Any body else in the same boat ?!?!:confused:
 
Many folks are looking for a 'mate'. Best things to do to facilitate that? Deal with your own issues (we all have them), seek God's guidance, rest patiently in Him, and 'get out there'. Go have some fun (I mean that in the clean, healthy, safe sense) and meet some gals. Don't be overly concerned about meeting 'the one'; rather, get to know a few gals, and in the process, you will learn much about your own preferences and desires.

I was saved in 1993 and had my first serious relationship around 2000. She wasn't the one.

My next serious relationship started last year, some 23 years after being spiritually renewed("saved" "born again").

In all the time I've been a Christian, I don't know that I've ever really felt or suggested that I need to get married. I've long wanted to get married. I've had times where the desire has been so strong I've broken to tears.

It has always been a desire and a want, though, Johnthree...not a "need". :)

In fact, I'm preeeetty sure shineyourlight is in the same boat. You should hit her up.
 
Hahaha :) Shineyourlight did you get your chicken and egg from Amazon? It might have arrived as two chickens depending on the speed of the delivery!

Well I have been keeping my eyes open. I don't want to rush into marriage. I have been praying about it and I do believe the Lord will provide in his time. He provided for Adam.
I am just getting to the point where im more on the for side than the I don't want to side.

Definately do not rush. I highly recomend dont rush.
