The kitchen is the place that love happens because there is usually something good simmering on the stove.
I usually don’t cook but I am busy motivating myself to make potjie. Man, if you haven’t had potjie you never had good stew before. I am more of a barbeque guy.

That stuff in that kettle looks scrumptious. Looks sorta like a pot roast which I truly love. I enjoy barbeque as well.

A "potjie" is a traditional stew over an open fire. Taste like no other stew because of the pot. Delicious! Our neighbour made us Oxtail potjie the other day and we couldn't stop eating :)

Maybe my wife will do the potjie. Put some stuff in the kettle, fan the flames, and call it good. I commend your neighbors choice of cuisine. Apparently, they know how to cook.

They really did spoil us. We felt so blessed… but we have good neighbours all around. We are fortunate because we are one big family.

Um, why is this in the singles forum.
sorry.

My dad keeps way out of the kitchen...too many cooks spoil the broth. If mum is there shes kind of like Gordon Ramsay.

If Im cooking I have to stake it out so she doesnt interfere and mutter darkly....you are going to burn the house down!!!

flirtation? I dont think so. save it for the supermarket. although now they do delivery so you arent tempted.

Based on my own experience and observation through the years, in regards to save it for the supermarket, serious flirtation can occur in the produce section as you are thumping the honeydews to see which one is ripe.

For single peeps, a laundry mat is a good place for flirtation also, as so noted in my thread Laundry Mat that I started when I was single at the time.

Sounds like Mom runs Hell's Kitchen. Things could get heated in there if both of your parents are there at the same time, in a playful, romantic sense of course. Kids can learn about relationships by observing how their parents interact with each other.

Another trick I learned along the way in regards to flirtations in the kitchen, if the guy wears an apron it makes him appear to be one of the sensitive types and there are women that are into that.

This thread was created in the Singles Forum because this is where all the fun, flirty, sensitive types hang out. Regarding Gordon Ramsay, whom I find witty and amusing, if the Kitchen Flirtation thread was in the BDF it would indeed turn into Hell's Kitchen.

I do recall Nigella Lawson got beat up by her ex and it was all over the news. she was rather known for being extremely flirtatious in the kitchen.

Can't remember if we put this in the thread before but we had to try three times to get a bag of frozen hash brown potatoes home from the grocery store. The first time I believe they were totally forgotten. The second time we bought them but left them in the car and went searching for them thinking we had left them at the store. Third time is the charm... we got them home and ate them...lol

But for a while we were sure that we were never getting hash browns in the house again... If at first you don't succeed try, try again....lol

Please don't cast shade on a domestic abuse survivor. Yes she is a television personality and I think that makes them targets but let us be Christians. Let us not gossip about her and make it seem like it was her fault for getting beat up and talking poorly about her character. I don't think you meant to be unkind but we need to be kinder as Christians. I think she has suffered enough. I think she would be pretty hurt to read her pain be thrown around as if it was on her that someone else used their fists.

That’s adorable. And that’s love right there: when even the little things just become precious and loving. I can’t wait for that myself ✨

The victim of domestic abuse is never at fault. I fully concur with your estimation.

I believe that this will happen for you, sooner rather than later. Even the most simple ordinary things can be intimate and romantic when done together by a husband and wife that love each other.

I believe that there was also the time that I was supposed to buy hash browns and but by the time that I got home they turned into tater tots. I might be potato challenged among other things, all minor in nature of course. :)

Basically, a frozen pizza but with my wife's loving touch. I'm not kidding, her stuff is better than Domino's.
You cannot go wrong with a good cook as a partner. I wish i could be a woman and marry Gordon Ramsay. Hes funny and is a really great cook, one of the best in the world. You can tell hes also a fantastic husband and good father.

I always enjoyed Hell's Kitchen and Master Chef. The way he acts on those shows is really just an act. I agree, he is very funny at times, even when he pretends to be angry.
