Oh I can't resist. You're a better man than I, Gunga Max.
I'm a fan of Kipling too. I found that I could relate to him 'cause he had a nicotine addiction too. He was a brilliant writer who had a keen understanding of the human condition and wrote in a way that a common person could relate to. He led a fascinating life.

A criminally underrated poet these days. If only people could accept him as a man of his time and place, then admire his gems.

I wonder if old Kip and GK Chesterton ever met. Would've been a battle of wit and wisdom.

Here is Chesterton's critique of Kipling. Really cool. Classic Chesterton on classic Kipling.

Oh and sorry if this seems a bit rough. But your games and lures indicate you are in need of a spanking. Which is not a leftist position either.
No worries.
If I said I'd give you the last word with no rebuttal,
then you were expected to speak your mind.

: )
It's all good.

It may seem ironic to some, however what is trmed as global warming is said to have much colder cold seasons with an isosttic response of wrm or hot weather. The intricacies are far more complicatd than just the title.

Why would the eternal King support or be in favor of ay political pary on earth? The flags of the nations belong to Him....until the Kingdom is established forever, there is no politic worthy of His attention.

Look at what all of the parties do in the world! If you believe there are any the are "like" what Jesus teaches, I am afraid your vision is lacking.
J...,

I don't understand you comparing G-d to a earthly political party.

I must be missing something.

Lol you never heard that GOP means God's Own Party?
I had never heard that, but I can see how that description came about....

I'm certain there are some Christians in the Democratic party. I personally knew of one, a very wonderful woman, very Christ-like... but she was a life-long democrat. I blame it on the fact that she was a social worker dealing with adoption of children, and was very wrapped up in government "social programs". She was adamantly anti-abortion, also. But, she still voted democrat.

So, I am certain there are other Christian democrats.... I look forward to meeting another one someday....:)

L...,

Straight...yes. I know of few liberal christians.
There is no such thing as a ..."gay christian". That is like saying a....sinful christian
Does that fly with your biblical directives?

The gay eliminates the christian.
No, it doesn't. Being gay is not a choice. They were made that way. Second, all Christians are sinning ... you, me and everyone else. Second, Churches are coming around and changing on this issue. Also, the young people (millenials) are changing. If it really were very important and the worst sin there is (judging by what is said on this site?), then Jesus would have said something. Instead, he said nothing. But he had alot of say about divorce. How many "christians" are divorced? and remarried? then we could say they are not real "christians".

Why not leave all the judgmentalism to God. Only God knows the heart of anyone.

I dont think Jesus would have belonged to any political party but I do think he would have to be classified as more liberal than conservative. You know all that stuff about loving your neighbour (means you cant be anti immigration) and the stuff about money (hmmmn?), about helping the poor (when you vote republican you vote for the rich) .... I could go on and on...

Actually, my post was more than a little tongue-in-cheek.

You would obviously be surprised to see a listing of who the "rich" are in Washington. Check out Nancy Pelosi's net worth, compared to her "earnings" as a congressperson. That whole "rich Republican" thing has been proven false seven ways to Sunday, but the libs keep trotting it out, because people like you believe it....

and, Republicans are NOT anti-immigration.... many of them are anti illegal immigration, though.. you know, that old "breaking our laws" thing? Loving you neighbor does NOT mean you willingly, knowingly allow law breakers to flood into our country.

Stuff about money? What stuff?

please do go on and on....
