would you put up with that kind of behavior if you met someone on the street? you would think they had a loose screw
but even better, would the op act like that in public? in church? in a Bible study? if she disagreed?

I agree a few members here need to cool it in how they respond when they do not agree. and I have received the same from those members but I did not create multiple threads in which to try and gain sympathy and display anger and respond with no self control at all

this site is moderated and when someone goes flying in all directions and having an unsupervised hissy fit, a moderator should say that's enough. that is what moderation is

at the beginning I brought up counselling. it would do a world of good for someone who has the issues seen here
as someone who has counselled, the behavior is referred to as histrionics
saying there there now only tells the person they have sympathy and no reason to change. in their world, it is everyone else that needs to change to accomodate them

it would actually be closer to the truth to say God is working on us as much as we allow Him to
when a person has expectations that everyone will meet their expectations they are setting themself up for failure
if they then resort to a fit of rage, which is pretty much exemplified here with, granted, people goading her on, then we need to try and counsel to help the person understand that outside conditions should not alter our entire personality
so much more I could say but no one is listening anyway
I will say that in all my time here, I have never seen someone go off that bad and just keep up it

is it reasonable to expect an entire forum to turn about and follow her lead?
yet that is what she is saying with 'I don't know how to make you people hear me...there is no such thing as OSAS
she states she will not engage with people she disagrees with yet constantly engages and in fact creates entire ops and at least 4 or 5 by my estimate now
this is not about Jesus loves everybody
this is about letting a person fly off and insult the entire forum with no correction
I am sure you are aware I have strong convictions, and I really disagree with some things people post here
but demanding everyone changes for my comfort, is not reasonable and no one should think that it is
I thank you for keeping it real, expressing yourself as you see it, and also for disagreeing with me civilly. I am open and ready for correction. I also agree that this site needs moderating. I think Oncefallen and Robo do an amazing job at keeping this site safe. They are neither too liberal or impulsive, in my opinion. Although yesterday they couldn't ban quick enough for that one ugh. How disturbing was that...ewwww!!
Anyway, if on the street, I hope that I would extend mercy, and show humility, and try to see past the anger and see the hurt. I may not actually do that, especially if I felt a defenseless person was under fire. But I try to stay in His lane in all ways, but def mess up from time to time.
One of the reasons that I would not be a good choice for duties surrounding the reporting and banning is because well much has been forgiven of me. As far as this situation, I have seen alot of misunderstanding, in my perception, in some threads that got her fired up.
I am listening to you 7, you are a very wise person, though even at times, in my opinion, you have crossed the line. And you, I believe, find offense in what you see as my flip flopping and in my desire to be gentle. Both of us may be right, but in the end only our Savior knows our hearts and our minds, and so we have to look through the eyes of mercy and trust His will and timing.
I think you and I are on the same page with that last sentence.
I do not know the future, but I still have hope here.

Just remember sis, She has only been here less than three months, its not like she has been here with people disagreeing with her for months on end.. And alot of stuff she has said about people and their beliefs is enough to fire them up also. But not everyone responded to her that way.
She appears on a vendetta now.. I do not know if she needs to back off for a little while or what needs to happen. But she needs some correction. In love..

This is not even an OSAS or NOSAS issue
I can discuss the word and scripture and belief systems. It may get heated, but that is reasonable when people try to get points across
But this is plan and simply a vendetta against a person or persons. Which has gotten out of hand
Leastamongmany, that was totally uncalled for. I'm POSITIVE God did not lead you to write that.. So much for you saying you weren't going to post on any more threads unless you felt led to by God..

Not only is God able He is also most capable. We are in agreement with praying for our brothers and sisters both here and offline. I consider everyone here to be very real and not virtual with feelings and emotions. I am indeed grateful as well.
This is where ppl challenge your belief saying "...NO SUCH THING AS OSAS.!" and when you have been pinned down by the scripture you are unwilling to discuss. We all given here the liberty to express our belief but be also ready to defend your faith. And when you have been shown in the light of scripture, please consider them, realize and come to repentance. God loves us first before we can say we love him! Also remember this is a BDF forum...

I think they do a great job also. it can be a thankless task. yesterday was an outside attack and we are all feeling the same about that I think
should I overlook how you bring up a conversation we had way back when, that I have completely forgotten about, but I see you still have something against me regarding it...even though I thought we were square
not much help when someone gets away with disturbing behavior that upsets the entire forum
offering the now infamous only Jesus really knows us line, is crossing a line IMO
correction would be simply telling a person to stop the behavior
everyone would have been relieved
that is what moderation is
