Try a trace of it smeared on a hard boiled egg.
...What is peanut butter like on eggs?
My grandfather puts ketchup on many things, including orange peels. I and the guys from my church would play a game so that whoever lost would have to do something (a punishment) everyone else agrees on. One time, a guy had to drink a horrible concoction of items, which included, mayonnaise (outdated), ketchup, relish, I think some cheese, and water to stir it all up. He had to take a big gulp of it. It had to of been disgusting, for he threw up after drinking it! There's a fun story for you.Hi Everyone,
My friends and family like to tease me because I am extremely picky about, gasp, condiments.
I don't like most of them, and, to the horror of those around me, usually prefer my sandwiches and burgers "dry". I don't like ketchup, mustard, and, heaven forbid, mayonnaise (YUCK!!) causing my sandwich to be runny, goopy, or soggy. BLEH!! To me, there's nothing more horrifying than biting into some kind of delicious sandwich-like concoction -- only to have some soppy, gooey mess slide down the side of your arm. EEK!!
But, I know that's just me, and I'm sure that I am definitely in the minority!
Ironically, I DO like A-1 sauce with my burgers or, on the rare occasion I would have steak (and it HAS to be A-1 -- no substitutions,) and I also like Heinz Cocktail Sauce (once again, it HAS to be Heinz!) with cold shrimp or fried fish products, like sticks or fillets. I've tried using store or other brands, and... For some things, if I can't use the specific brand, I'll just go without.
I also like malt vinegar with some types of fish, and that pickled ginger that comes with sushi (but is that more of a side dish than a condiment?)
Anyway... I wanted to try to write a poll, but can't figure out how to let people express their different opinions about the various condiments with just a poll, so I'm going to list some common condiments here and ask what YOU all think of them!
For instance, fill in the blanks: "(Type of Condiment) Is (Delicious, Depressing, Indifferent,) And Only Belongs On (Hot Dogs, Sandwiches, Certain Dishes, Anything, Everything.)"
What do YOU think of the following condiments -- as well as any you'd like to "add on"?
* Mustard
* Ketchup
* Grey Poupon (gourmet mustard)
* Ranch Dressing (It's a scourge, I'm telling you!)
* Pickle Relish
* Soy Sauce
* Hot Sauce
* BBQ Sauce
* Mayonnaise
* Cream Cheese
* Sour Cream
* Salsa
* Vinegar
* Aioli
* Wasabi
I know there are a PLETHORA of other choices, and that's where YOU come in!!
* What are YOUR most loved -- and most loathed -- condiments, and why? Is there a certain brand you HAVE to have?
* Do certain condiments ONLY belong on certain things? Why or why not? Are certain foods NAKED or incomplete without certain condiments? (Like a bagel without cream cheese?!)
* Can you REALLY put certain condiments -- on almost everything???
* What are the most, uh, CREATIVE combinations YOU'VE tried?! Were they a yay or a nay? And did your family/friends have any, um, feedback regarding your concoction?
I hope you'll all "relish" this moment, take a minute to "ketchup", and "mustard" your own response to this thread!![]()
Never tried that but it sounds disgusting. Imagine the taste and texture of peanut butter, then imagine the same with eggs. I would eat it, but it sounds disgusting nevertheless....

"They have beef with each other" is correct within the way you are thinking (arguing doesn't necessarily mean anger or having beef with one another depending on definition), not, "they are having a beef?"Speaking of meat...If two vegans are arguing, are they having a "beef"?![]()
It's humor!-"They have beef with each other" is correct within the way you are thinking (arguing doesn't necessarily mean anger or having beef with one another depending on definition), not, "they are having a beef?"
there was nothing to correct, Francis.I know, I simply was correcting your joke.
Ah, but there was! The idiom typically goes something like this, "He has (sometimes the word, "some" is here) beef with me" not, "he has a beef with me". To say the latter phrase is to imply the frustration as a noun/item, though it's not. The first phrase makes more sense.there was nothing to correct, Francis.

being you must be a painful and unrewarding experience.Ah, but there was! Did I seem rude?being you must be a painful and unrewarding experience.
goodbye
Wasn't intentional if I did.being you must be a painful and unrewarding experience.
goodbye
Let's say a misunderstanding....he was making a joke and you went all 'literal' on him, which I also thought was funny. Was it meant to be funny or correctional? lol Either way we all love each other with the love of the Lord, can I get an AmenWasn't intentional if I did.
