escape route (You are brave to go walking alone, with mountain lions and bobcats abroad!

I think the most dangerous beast I've ever encountered - besides Whangdoodles, of course - are snakes.

And they were very respectful snakes considering our proximity - they noted me, I noted them, they (or at least one) maintained its warning strike pose, and I backed off respectfully to a safe distance (not multiple snakes at a time, just multiple encounters). No attacks or poisoning. More spiders 🕷🕷🕷 than I care to recount, but spiders aren't really dangerous - other than the potential to give me a heart attack

or ruin a night's sleep! A smallish shark once

, but closer to the shore than one might expect. Probably more dangerous to a dog than a man, but big enough to keep me from entering (or the dog from returning) to the water. All other encounters have been from the safe side of a cage or fence or glassed aquarium.
I've never experienced deer leaping across my path, but it sounds amazing. I had to look up funnel spider - it sounded suspiciously similar to the funnel-web spider, which I am aware of. If it's also known as the funnel weaver spider, it's probably slightly better looking than a funnel-web spider, and I understand (?) not so poisonous, which is good. I don't know what it is with me about spiders, but the look of them alone seem to make my heart twist up and a type of dread comes over me. There are beautiful things that when I see, I can be mesmerised by and ultimately have to force myself to look away from. And then there are spiders, which are kinda like the opposite - I half want to look away with revulsion, but also feel compelled to keep it in view so I know it is not attacking me - (perhaps also a morbid fascination thrown in?) Very strange, huh? But its good you are taking care of your funnel spider. Also good evidence of creation - two spiders on different sides of the world which create the same types of funnel web. But one (funnel weaver) turned to good, the other (funnel web) - to evil!!! It's hard enough to believe it evolved once, but twice?!?

I wonder what spiders are supposed to have evolved from? A 6-legged beetle, or an 8-clawed crab? I'm sure you and I could invent a much more interesting theory of evolutionism than Charles Darwin did, and it would be just as (un)believable.
I love your pictures at the CDC! It's far more colourful than I had envisaged. I had expected more cold lighting and a whiter, more sterile-type environment. I got the opposite feeling from the photographs. You probably need to take some others with you to lift you up to the microscope. Or get the CDC to bring it down to a more reasonable height for a Chieftess. Honestly, the disrespect some people show, they are fortunate you don't do unto them as you did unto the Whangdoodles! Lol.
You're getting really good with your pictures - I'm looking very casual holding that vial of blue mystery serum! I hope it was something innocuous and not black death!

I guess if it was a cure for something the CDC had concocted, we would have made it something fairly safe - unlike the CDC, we don't try to poison our customers!
Wow! Lots of interesting places to go to. I find things Egyptian very interesting, although in general, history has all manner of interesting things and quirks that just aren't talked about. Even flight - do you know if blimps were ever a thing before planes, and for how long? Some things I've seen and read, there were supposed to be blimps around in the 1700s. I don't really know what is truth and what is exaggeration, but it's definitely very interesting. Also, the orphan trains and cabbage patch dolls... Were they real?

Terrible if true (but believable from the point of view of the Epstein saga and those before it), but hard to be certain.
I think you should definitely collect some Whangdoodle souvenirs.

. I know we have plenty already from our years of expertise in defenestrating Whangdoodles and sending them back to the respective abysses from which they came (also destroying their space stations and ships), but in some ways, collecting Whangdoodle souvenirs is a never-ending task. You can never tell a dimension is completely purged of them until our adventures seem so far-fetched that they become bedtime stories for naughty children - similar to Hansel and Gretel, or the Pied Piper of Hamelin.
Chief Yellow Lark's prayer is beautiful - I really liked it.
