Obviously don’t give exact details of where you are. But just trying to get an idea of where everyone is located. I’m in South Carolina, close to the NC state line.

I was born in Charleston, SC. Didn't stay long, but moved back for a couple years in my 20's. Loved the area.

Currently I live in central Maryland, in the TRIANGLE OF LIBERAL DEATH between Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Frederick (2nd largest city in MD). Actually the area is really nice. It's still somewhat rural but the cities are expanding.

Moving to Tennessee soon, Lord willing, to the Morristown area in eastern TN.

Cool. Have you ever driven across Australia east to west? If you ever do, don't forget to log your miles! ;)
I've flown to Perth many times. I like driving but it's 4 hours by air. Perth is two hours behind Melbourne, 3,500 km.

I love distance driving. I've done several solo drives from the East Coast USA out to Montana and the West Coast. I feel like Australia would be a great place to just get in the car and drive and drive. :D

Morristown is nice. We would go to Morristown for the orthodontist visits. I used to live in Greeneville. Don't forget that extra E. They get cranky if you spell it Greenville.

Currently I live in Deepinaharta, Tennessee. Southwest Tennessee, specifically.

Some places are a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. Southwest Tennessee is a nice place to live, but I wouldn't want to visit here. If I had visitors there's nowhere I could take them for sightseeing. There's nothing here except small towns and moderately friendly people.

Canada. The flat part in the middle-ish, about halfway between the Great Lakes and the Rockies. I’d say it’s a great place to live, but you wouldn’t hear me over the blizzard.

Just pick your area of relocation carefully. Canada proved themselves even more totalitarian than the USA during the last pandemic, shutting down churches and jailing/fining pastors that kept their doors open.

Yo, J, that signature line probably counts as advertising.

(Also the new function of a flat earth friend finder, that tells you if anybody near you is also using that app, is... creepy.) :p

Thanks for the heads up. I'll move it into my profile instead for anyone who is interested.

The app itself has absolutely minimal permissions and the friend finder/location features can be turned off. I'm pretty paranoid about that kind of stuff myself, so I generally opt out.

Somewhere else. NYC is 7 hours away from me!
And yet still not far enough away...

Eh, there are some good people in NYC. A few of them anyway. Moses could probably have won the bet about ten righteous men there. Maybe...
