Observing the seventh-day Sabbath is a moral obligation because it is a matter of rendering to God that which is rightfully His and honoring our relationship with the Creator. The fourth commandment is not a requirement for man to give something of his own to God, but rather an injunction not to appropriate to himself the specific time God has reserved for His own worship.
The Sabbath is unique among the Ten Commandments because it is written upon the very front of nature, explaining how our world came into existence and pointing us to the true God. Without the Sabbath and the facts it commemorates, we could not distinguish the Creator from false gods.
A Sign of Loyalty: It serves as a perpetual sign between God and His people, (spiritual Israelites) signifying that He is the Lord who sanctifies them. Ezekiel 20:12.
It was established at the beginning of human history, before sin entered the world, making it an original moral duty for the entire human race Genesis 2:1-3.
The Sabbath grows out of man's moral, mental, and physical needs, acting as the link that unites humanity to the Creator and to one another.
By keeping the Sabbath, we acknowledge that we owe our existence and every blessing to God, which involves an obligation to love Him supremely.
It reminds us that God made our fellow creatures as well as ourselves, reinforcing the duty to love our neighbor as ourselves.
It lies at the foundation of all moral law; indeed, to appropriate God's rest-day to ourselves is to rob God.
The Ceremonial sabbaths were "shadows" pointing forward to redemption, whereas the seventh-day Sabbath is a "memorial" pointing back to creation. Colossians 2:16-17
You have venerated it and made it your god. You are in the way of Cain and making your own worship and expect God to honor it.
You are worshipping the creature/creation rather than the creator. Creature/creation is the Greek word: ktisis which can and does mean ordiance or instutution
I warned yesterday how the exiled started all this and you are of them a Judaizer. It started with Nehemiah adding to the law and making new commandments.
Nehemiah 10:32 "Also we made ordinances for us,...." Ordinances or commandments (mitsvah: Commandment).
Adding to the same as them.
Nehemiah 13:18-22
Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city? yet ye bring more wrath upon Israel by profaning the sabbath.
19And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and
some of my servants set I at the gates,
that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day.
20So the merchants and sellers of all kind of ware lodged without Jerusalem once or twice.
21Then I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do
so again, I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no
more on the sabbath.
22And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and
that they should come
and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God,
concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.
You are in the way of the Judaizers and preaching the false message of your false prophet. You really need to search out what worshipping a false god is.
