I've always been told I look around 12. I get very tired of that so I say to them I'll be glad when I get older as I'll look young :P my mum up to a few years ago looked like Dad's daughter lol must be in the genes. I am so pleased to know that I am not the only one with this problem :)

With a very close shave, I can pass off as a 17 year old lol, with a beard I look 3-4years older....what to do lol....After age 24 though I started looking older, so I probably couldn't do the pass off as a teen thing as much now lol. I just stick with a beard now lol and even got a few grays ugh age catches up eventually i guess...

There were ppl acturly guessing me in the 30s and 40s.. I got a bit insulted about those guesses though...lol

No it trully is a big disadvantage for a guy to look younger then He is.. The problem is that if your looking for a relationship and marriage a woman will usually be looking for a guy who is a few years older then herself.. So for instance a man of 33 will be attractive to a woman from 27 to 29.. Now if that man of 33 years looks like he is 23 then those woman will not have him on their radar.. If the 33 year old guy looks 23 then girls like 19 to 21 will be interested.. Now the big problem is that once a girl chatting with the guy she thinks is 24 but then finally discovers he is 33 immediately will withdraw and will no longer be interested because the actual age difference is way to big for her liking.. So you end up caught in the problem of woman in your age bracket not giving you a second look because they think you are too young.. But girls looking at you with interest until they discover your actual age.. So you end up with no one and with little prospects of finding someone..

People think I'm lying when I tell them I'm 27.

Apparently, I look like a 21-year old.

Do any of you get offended when people think you're younger? I couldn't care less.

My twins were about 4 months old and I had a rough day taking care of my 4 youngest and driving the older child to soccer practice. My ex took me out to dinner and I wanted a drink but had left my wallet at home.... I got carded and couldn't order a drink. I was highly offended, I was 32, a mother of 5 and couldn't order a drink lol

being mistaken for a 12-year-old doesn't bother me. Being mistaken for a 30-something-year-old surprised me immensely, but didn't offend me. *shrugs* :)
 
I am 30 and people say I look like I'm 18! I take it as a compliment and I would rather look young than be all wrinkley and things like that. I tell people it's because I work out, don't smoke or drink and I eat healthy is the reason why I look young lol.
