Wow... self righteous much?

I have already explained why I think your conclusions are wrong. You have not addressed any of my arguments, but instead have dismissed them all with a condemnatory wave of the hand.

I get that you may not have the chops to discuss this matter further, but you could at least choose not to be a jackdonkey about it.
Wow! I’m sorry you feel that way. And for whatever I have done to offend you—outside of quoting the word of God—I apologize. You have a good day.

To equqte satan to a testimony of redem, ption and salvation is nothing less than heresy, you speak so much about satan and how he is whispering in my ear or in the ears of others unable to see your own folly in this matter. If you have issue with something that is fine disagreeing is part of the process of learning and growing but you need to stoip being so condemning and while you may be versed in his word you do not show the fruits of the spirit thus your understanding of his word is null and void and honestly I think @Dino246 is better suited to debate with you he is far more insightful than I but I know a persons fruits when I see them and I can tell you this much yours is not of God nor do you have the right to judge anyone and no it is not God's word that judges here after all even satan quoted scripture that doesn;t make you any less the accuser of the brothers and sisters in Christ.
You are entitled to your “opinion”.

I'm sorry you're incapable of handling any challenge to your interpretation of Scripture.

Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Not an opinion it is scripture

You may be right, my sins are many, but judging “hearts” is not one of them. Matthew 7:20- “By their fruits you shall know them.” What are the fruits of a woman publicly preaching in a church, by her own admission. I would say that is her “fruit “ that we can see. Our discussion has been about women taking leadership roles in the church. You may not see a problem with that, but I do.

“Testimony” is open to debate. You either believe it is from God or you don’t. I don’t. And I gave scripture to show why., just as I would with any other point that I disagree with -as does EVERYONE on this Site. I hardly think that is “heresy”. If so, then we are all guilty.

The “accuser”in Rev. 12 is Satan. Are you calling me the Devil? I try to show people the character of Satan to warn them as Paul did in 2 Cor. 2:11. “Lest Satan should take advantage of us, for we are not ignorant of His devices.” But I have never called anyone the devil. Nor have I ever called anyone a “jack donkey””. Calling people derogatory names, is something, I pray, I won’t ever do, regardless of how angry I might get. What’s that you were saying about the fruits of the Spirit?

I'm sorry you're incapable of handling any challenge to your interpretation of Scripture.

If calling someone a “jack donkey” in response to their post is YOUR way of “handling any challenge to your interpretation of scripture” then, I’m glad I’m not handling it your way.

Attacking the “person”. Instead of the “argument” is called “ad homenin fallacy.” It means “against the man”, and it attacks the character, motives, or attributes of the person making the argument, rather than the argument itself. The goal is to discredit the person, hoping that the audience will therefore disregard the argument.”

I addressed your behaviour. It has nothing to do with anyone else’s opinion.

If God can't still speak through visions, dreams, and prophecy (and you acknowledge that we are currently in the last days), then how do you explain Acts 2: 17-18 ?

I'm a bit shocked at your determination to judge other people's callings.

But on the bright side, you are giving us an excellent example of what it looks like when a woman tries to usurp authority and teach outside of her calling. So thank you for the real-time illustration! 😊
Acts 2:15-16 Peter says what you see happening today, is what Joel prophesied. The Holy Spirit was poured out on that day. E

We all agree there were spiritual gifts of prophesying, tongues, etc. at this time and 1Cor. 14 regulates those as they take place in the church. Women did prophesy, but not in public worship. See verse 34. These gifts and miraculous signs were temporary. ( See 1 Cor. 13:8-10. ) until the completed perfect word of God (Bible). They all “ceased”. That’s why Hebrews says “in time past” God spoke in dreams, visions, etc, BUT NOW, it’s different. God has only promised to speak through His word. So, yes, the prophesy of Joel in Acts 2 has been fulfilled.

I don’t know of any man I have “usurped” authority from. My post to Edith was to a woman—not a man. Are there positions of authority on this thread? I don’t know of any. Priscilla helped teach Apollo’s in a non-church situation. Acts 18.
