The consequence of the sins of the people, was sinfully laying bruises on His body, and smiting Him to a tree.
The consequence of people sinning, is not only doing evil to others, but also death to our own soul.
He that does evil can do harm to another, but only the evil-doer can die to God.
Jesus paid the bodily death price for submitting into the hands of sinners, not the death price of the soul for sinning.
God made Him to be sin to sinners, not sin to Himself. Jesus body died on a cross by sinful deeds against Him. His did not die God by any sin laid upon His soul.
Jesus did not have any sin imputed to Him by God, because He had no sin in Him.
God the Son did not die, but only the body of the Son of God died in the flesh.
All men on earth that sin, are guilty of the death of the Son, save the Son Himself who sinned not.
Men who repent of sinning against Him, are saved and justified by His bodily resurrection from the dead.
He gave His back to the smiters, and His hands to the nailers first.
He had to come in the flesh and die for sins, so that all who sin are guilty of His death. That He might resurrect from the dead, to forgive and have mercy on His enemies that repent, the Jew first and also the Gentile.
Rom 4:24
But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
No man should perish for hanging God's Son on a tree, but all should have everlasting life through His resurrection, by repenting of sinning against Him.
But though all men have sinned against Him, not all repent for His sake.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Read the prophecy of Scripture first and believe it. The we can rightly read all scriptures of Jesus' suffering and death, at the hands of all us that have sinned against Him.
Correct. By prophecy and fulfillment of Scripture, only unbelieving and unjust men imputed Him with sin and worthy of death as by law.
Bearing our sinful marks laid on His body, is not bearing our sinning on His soul.
Paying the price for submitting into the hands of sinful men, is not paying the price of sin with death of the soul.
All that sin against Christ, still die toward God by their own sin.
All that repent of sinning against Christ, may have faith and life toward God with His righteousness.
Heb 6:1
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Sin does not die, whether symbolically or mystically.
If we are sinning, we are alive to sin. If we are not sinning, we are dead to sin.
No man sinning against another, especially the righteous, is dead to sin, but alive to doing evil.

His body with the marks of our sinning against Him, was buried three days. Our sinning against Him remained in remembrance to God.
The sinful marks we laid upon His natural body, remain on His resurrected body, for all to see and remember the cost of dying by man's sin, and for sin to be repented of.

Sin is not a rock, and Jesus does not carry any sin, to take it away from our heart.

Jesus does not carry sin anywhere, He destroys it at once.
Jesus does not cast sin into hell, but only angels and men that sin unto death.

Only Jesus' body was carried to a tomb, having the marks of our sins against Him. He did not carry any sin into hell, when He went by the Spirit to preach to the them in prison.
True. And death by sin is cursed.
Imputing sin is not a gift, but a curse.
Not rightly, but only falsely. Only God can impute sin or righteousness to a man justly. Only men impute sin or righteousness falsely to another, even to God Himself.
Many people impute God with sin, beginning with the devil in the garden. And all imputed Jesus with sin on the cross.
The devil was a liar in the garden, and also all men at the cross.

The scripture is not saying that we rightly esteemed Jesus stricken of God, as by law. Nor is the scripture saying that God imputed Jesus with sin, and smote Him by law.
The scripture is saying that we all wrongly impute Him with sin on the cross, and smitten of God by law.
Anyone still saying after His burial and resurrection, that He was imputed with sin and smitten of God by law, is still believing His false accusers and smiters, that He was guilty of blasphemy and worthy of death, as by law of God:

Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.
1Co 12:3
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed:
No man saying Jesus was accursed of God on the cross, has the Spirit of God, nor is believing the gospel of His resurrection from the dead with power of Son of God:

Your dictionary definitions do not refute Scripture's use of words.
Faith in Cambridge Dictionaires will not raise anyone from the dead unto life in Christ Jesus.
how do you get around this clear statement?
2 Corinthians 5:21 – “For our sake he (God) made him (Jesus) to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
This verse is central to the doctrine of imputed sin, showing that God made Jesus “sin” (imputed sin) so that believers could receive His righteousness

No one that has sinned, can say that Jesus was not wounded because of our transgressions against God in heaven, and by our transgressing against His Son on earth.
Luk 24:7
Jesus Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
Jesus must come in the flesh to die, because we have sinned against God. And rather than recieve Him, we sinfully beat and smote Him on a cross.
The scripture declares we all have crucified Him, for we all have sinned against Him.
Exactly again.
Scripture records He was wounded by sinful men, not by God. His bruises and beatings and nailings are the sinful deeds laid upon His body.
And not only by their wicked hands, but also by us all that have sinned against Him.
When we see the burised, beaten, stricken, and smitten body of Jesus hanging on a tree, we see the evil of our own sinning against God and man:
Isa 52:14
As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:
Rom 7:13
Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
He is the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, when Adam first transgressed and crucified Christ to himself. He is the Lamb slain in the world, when transgressors then crucified Christ on a cross.
Isa 53:6
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
The LORD laid our iniquities on His body, by commanding Him to wholly submit to our sinful bruising, beating, and crucifying Him to death.
Excellent. Though He came and died because of and by our transgressions, He rose again to cleanse and justify any man that repents of sinning against Him.
Rom 4:24
But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

The travail of His soul was the betrayal of His own people, who bruised Him for not cause:

Jesus never suffered because of sin laid upon His soul, for His soul never sinned nor had any sin to suffer.
Amen brother. It was God commanding Him to submit to our sins afflicted upon His body. That He may rise again to heal our soul aflficted by our own sins against Him:
1 Peter 2:23
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
And so all that have sinned against Christ, must also repent of His unlawful death, even as them that slew Him.
In that He died for our sins too, our sins are guilty of His death also.

The problem we have here, is that we argue the truth of Scripture literally applied to our bodies and lives.
Others only argue a pseudo-theological symbolic application of scripture, that only has meaning in vain imaginations. God did not symbolically lay our sins upon Jesus' soul, while we did lay our sinful stripes upon His back.
We see that by spiritual symbology alone, certain Christians cannot even bring themselves to acknowledge that Jesus was esteemed guilty and crucified by sinners, not by God. Much less that we are guilty of crucifying Him by our own sinning against Him.
Which is why in all their quoting of Scruipture, they never acknowledge the first propehcy of Scripture for His physical suffering and death: It is we men that made Him unjustly suffer by our own hands, not God.
Isa 53:3

And that's why the prophecy begins with the prophet asking who would believe this report as written:
Isa 53:1
Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
Who wants to believe that the Son was crucified by injustice, and that by our own sins, we all are guilty of His illegal murder?
Refusing guilt for Jesus' innocent shed blood, is not believing the report, that we all are guilty of shedding His innocent blood by sinning against Him.
If we had not sinned, then He need not come to die for sinning against Him. And if we had not crucifiied Him, He had not died by sinning against Him.
If a person does not allow the innocent "Lamb of God" to take over his (or hers) burden of sin then said person cannot survive into the new world.
The whole point (throughout the OT and NT) was for a substitute to be given to bear the penalty of sin. One who was innocent and without sin (flawless/without blemish), dying so the guilty may live.
But, of course, the guilty must be willing to accept Jesus on the cross in order to become sinless and innocent again.
It's like carrying a heavy bag over your shoulder. It bows you down, makes you stumble, will eventually kill you. Someone comes along and takes away that burden from you. But you must be willing to let it go. Let Him take it away.

Nor were our sins against Jesus laid to His charge. But we still suffer etenral consequences for our own sinning against, if we repent not.
God did not impute Jesus with sin by sinners unujustly nailing Him to a cross. No more than God would impute sin to us for being killed by a murderer.
The consequences are upon your body, even as the consequences are upon the other's soul.
The consequences of sinners were upon Jesus body until death, and the consequences of their sinning were upon their souls by His death.
God does not impute sin nor guilt for sin upon the innocent soul, that is sinned against unto death.
Since we see by Scripture and the right argument, that it was men who laid sinful stripes upon the innocent Son, and God does not lay sin upon the soul that has no sin:
God only laid our iniquities upon the body of the Son, by His willing obedience to submit to the hands of sinners, whose hands did the sinful striping and crucifying:

God does not lay the sin of murderers upon the innocent. Nor does He commit the murder, even if He commands the innocent to submit into their sinful hands.
God commanded, and the Son submitted. God did not commit murder nor suicide by cross. No more than the good commander and the obedient soldier, that is killed by the enemy.

Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
God the Son submitted Himself to sinful hands. He did not kill Himself. Men imputed God the Son with sin and guilt. He did not impute their sin to Himself.
If God the Father smote His Son on a cross, and imputed sin to the Son's soul, then God killed Himself and imputed sin to Himself, for the Son is also God.
Nothing was done unto the Son without the Son's consent, including being commanded by the Father, and being crucified by men.

He helps us to take on His burden of righteousness, when we repent and take up our on cross for His sake.

For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

The whole cause for the Lamb of God submitting to sinful hands, is to save us from sinning:
Mat 1:21
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
The only one that bares the guilt and death of sin, is the soul that sins.
Jesus bore the sin of striping and crucifying His body, not to bear the burden and death of sin upon His own soul, but to rise again and destroy the sin of them that repent.
If we do not repent of our own sinning against Him, He will destroy us for whom He died, that we may repent, but repented not.
One who was innocent and without sin (flawless/without blemish), dying at the hands of sinners, so the guilty may have their own nation.
Jhn 11:48
If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
One who was innocent and without sin (flawless/without blemish), submitted to sinful hands, so the guilty may repent and live.
No one accepts Jesus on the cross, but instead rejects Him as Son of God.
Isa 53:3

All His enemies that slew Him must be willing to repent, and recieve Him by His resurrection, for us to become newborn innocent and sinless babes of God:

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
2Co 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ,
Every man is bowed down and falls and dies by the burdern and guilt of his own sin. Sin is the soul doing evil. It's not a bag of rocks upon the body.
The Lamb of God comes to take away our sin: Not to be burdened with it, but to destroy it.
It's carring a heavy load of sin on the soul, and Jesus burns it up:
Mat 3:11
I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:...Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner.
The only burden our Lord Jesus is glad to bare for us, is the souls of His resurrected saints into the air:
1 Th 4:15
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Jesus the righteous does not bare any burdern of sin at all, but only casts it away forever:
Rev 18:21
And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
